  The best wedding photographer there is!

  Stacy made our wedding as special as it could be! She is an absolute pleasure to work with and made us feel so at ease and comfortable with her instantly. Thanks to SMS Photography, we have the most incredible photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Every photo she takes captures so much beauty. SMS Photography is the best of the best!

  Incredible!

  Absolutely top notch!!! Stacy and her team are the real deal. I love how you fill out a questionnaire throughout your engagement in order to direct her on what photos are important to you. We have some family dynamics, as most couples do, and she was extremely understanding and took this aspect seriously. We were able to get all of the photos we wanted, as quickly as possible!!! She was amazing while taking pics of the bridal party getting ready, seemingly getting tons of action and candid shots, which I had told her would be our favorite.
  
  Besides being incredibly talented, she was a total breeze to work with, very communicative, and very level-headed in a stressful environment. I imagine she would be awesome to work with for a stressful family shoot (Christmas cards, etc.) because her smile is contagious and her laugh is radiant. She truly helped us have a joyous day!

  I couldn't be happier with our wedding photos and SMS Photography! Ive always felt awkward having my photos taken and Stacy made me feel so comfortable the entire evening, much of the time I had no idea she was taking photos. After the ceremony she was so organized and speedy so everyone could enjoy the festivities, I would consider this harder than herding turtles. She has a natural eye for details, placement and timing and in photography that's EVERYTHING! As most brides would say, the evening flew by and next thing you know its over, I'm so grateful that she was able to capture so many special moments that I can look back on for the rest of my life. The icing on the cake was her delivery of our photos, from the website to the beautiful drive she gave us we are just beyond thrilled! I feel to blessed to have been given the opportunity to work with her!

  Stacy was AMAZING to work with on our wedding day. While my fiance is not phased by extended periods of time taking photos, it is something that can be particularly draining for me. Because of that, I was especially worried about all of the necessarily extended photoshoots that would need to take place on our big day, given the size of our families and wedding party. All of those worries went away immediately as soon as we started shooting with Stacy and her second shooter, Jenny DeMarco. They made us feel so comfortable and really reminded us of why we were celebrating on that big day. They were even wonderful with our dog, who was a part of our ceremony as well. We evcen got a preview of some of our images and they were just STUNNING. Long story short, I would hands down recommend Stacy, SMS Photography, and Jenny for ANY future wedding photography needs for anyone I know.

  Stacy Sodolak is the most talented, professional, hilarious, and kindest photographer (and person!) that you can find in Austin! I have known that I wanted to hire SMS Photography since being a bridesmaid in a wedding that Stacy shot 8 years ago. Her eye for unique angles, details, and candid shots is the one that you want to capture your treasured moments.

  Stacy is incredible. She has an eye for all things pretty and attention to detail. Probably the most laid back person that we worked with through out our wedding- which is a gift as things can feel hectic and overwhelming. So it felt very reassuring to be able to count her and have complete confidence in her work. The last thing you want to question is the quality of your photographer OR the connection you have- we met with several other photographers before Stacy- while everyone was very talented, there wasn't a comfort/genuine personality connection until we met Stacy. We heart Stacy and her work!!

  Let me start by saying that I didn't even get to meet Stacy through our planning process...I left the photography up to my husband and he chose Stacy since we had a friend's referral....and I'm so glad that he did! She was amazing! She accommodated our budget and was so nice. All of my emails were answered quickly and she answered every question. On the day of our wedding, Stacy and her assistant Carol Ann swooped in and got right to work. After the formal family shots, she took over and did her own thing with us. She had so many great ideas and directed us very efficiently and kindly (we were losing light quickly). I cannot wait to see everything that she took and will recommend her to anyone who is looking for a photographer in the area. Choose SMS...you won't regret it!

  We used Stacy for our November 2010 wedding after researching numerous photographers. As my father is a former professional photographer, the tone and quality of the photos were very important to us and we were quite picky! Stacy has an energetic, fun personality, but as others have noted, she is all business when it comes to execution on the "day of" for your events, as well as the final product. We presented perhaps the greatest challenge she's ever had a wedding - the groom was hospitalized and missed the entire dinner and reception. Stacy and her team didn't miss a beat, and she very graciously (at no extra cost) met with us again a week after the wedding to "recreate the day" so we could indeed have hundreds of beautiful photos, even if my husband missed the main event. The thing we liked the best was that her technique covers the wide spectrum of candid, casual shots to very formal, artistic portraits. She also clearly had good relationships with our other vendors, which is important in a town like Austin.

  Stacy and her team were excellent! We value great photography and wanted someone who could capture all of our special moments. She delivered and we are so happy with the photos that we will cherish for a lifetime! Stacy is very professional, has a great personality and is easy to work with. She was also great at 'hiding' during the reception. I rarely saw her but she still captured the best moments!

  Stacy is amazing! You will feel like she is your friend, not just your photographer. At the same time, however, she is very professional and extremely good at what she does. And her work is simply gorgeous! She is very fairly priced for the quality that you get.
