We booked our wedding with Protocol Restaurant and it was just perfect!!! We could not have asked for a better night. First of all the banquet hall is so elegant and beautiful!! Second, Paul and Carol were so helpful throughout all of the planning! And the food!!! Oh my goodness!! Everyone raved about the food. I personally had the filet and it melts in your mouth! So tender and juicy. They certainly cater to the head table and family table to make sure we had everything we needed as well as just being amazing to everyone who attended. We had more food than 150 people could possibly consume with appetizers, 3 course meal and dessert tables. The dance floor is huge!!! I cannot rave enough about the quality and service!!!

Protocol restaurant was a phenomenal choice for our reception. Not only are they incredibly flexible a courteous, but they have a fantastic staff working as well. We could not have asked for a better experience with our reception site. Everyone also raved about the food! Paul & carol are great, and worked with me on every step and had some great suggestions as well. There's a reason this place has been around for so long. The room looked stunning and we woukd recommend them to anyone looking for top notch service at a reasonable price.

We booked our Reception with Protocol after our original venue had closed, and I see now why people say "Everything happens for a reason." Carol and Paul are phenomenal, we had the opportunity to get to know both of them while we were planning the wedding and they both were very understanding, honest and organized. We were able to drop all of our decorations off to them a few nights before the wedding, which really helped with the stress level when things got down to the wire, and when we arrived everything was as it should be, which was also nice to not have to worry about. Every single person that attended our wedding that we spoke to, told us how fantastic their meal was, its very rare to have a banquet where the food is so exceptional, and I felt so proud and lucky to have everyone enjoying themselves. I would absolutely recommend Protocol restaurant to anyone!

We used Protocol for offsite catering for our wedding. Presentation was beautiful! Food was great - everyone complimented on it! Catering staff was well trained, polite and fun! Paul & Carol were very flexible and accommodating. I heard there were a few bumps with the venue, but I would never have known because of the flawless execution of our vision. Thank you Paul, Carol & staff!!

Paul and Carol made my wedding amazing! They helped find me a great DJ and rental agent for my black and pink theme. The room is a beautiful room that makes it so elegant. The servers are great and friendly. And the best part was the FOOD! It was delicious and everyone is still talking about how great it was! Thank you soooo much :)

When my original reception venue abruptly closed only 3 months before my wedding, I was so thankful that Protocol still had the date free! Carol was helpful from the beginning with getting everything set up on time even though it was such a late booking. We were able to drop everything for the reception off a few days before the wedding, which was a relief, and they set everything up beautifully. The dance floor is huge, which is great - the only downside is the setup means the tables aren't especially close together (sort of like a U-shape around the dance floor), but that also helped everyone be close to the dancing, so it worked out. Our guests raved about the food - our 3 course meal was excellent, as were the late-night sliders. Paul, the owner, even mingled with some of our guests, and was overall very willing to meet with us and discuss ideas along the way.

Everything went so smoothly! One of the biggest reasons we first looked at Protocol was that they only did one event a night(They have one big room that they can split into 2 but we used the whole room). I really wanted a venue where there was not 1 or 2 other weddings going on(i.e. Pearl Street). Paul was so great to work with! I am a planner and I like to do everything myself so when it got close to the date and dropping all of my stuff off, he reassured me everything would be fine and they've done it many times and to trust him. That day everything went so smooth, food was outstanding!! We got soooo many compliments about the food!

We had our rehearsal dinner here and it was wonderful. We actually had trouble finding a place that would take us because our party was smaller (50) but they were willing to work with us. The food was great and the atmosphere was very laid back.

The food was good and the room was pretty, but that's about all they have going for them. I recommend NEVER doing events with Protocol! Owners are very nasty. I paid per plate for my food and we had some not show up due to a tragic car accident that happened the morning of the wedding. Paul refused to make the food that was ALREADY paid for so my other guests or parents could take it home. I paid $58 a plate, and he refused to give the food that was brought for my wedding specificly. He was rude and nasty to my guests on more then one occasion u caught him yelling at them. When I decided to do my wedding at protocol Carol promised me I would have Jack and Coke there (one of the only drinks my husband drinks) no jack at all! For every meeting Carol was so unorganized. She never remembered our meetings, never has the proper paper work. She screwed up the counts for my wedding and forgot the kids after we said 5 times she was forgetting the kids. So the Wednesday before my wedding i had to come up with another $200 because she can't listen! I had the worst experience with protocol and they will never see another penny from me ever! Owners treat you like you are dirt beneath thier feet. Terrible customer service!
