Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant & Banquet has an eye for detail and strives to provide any accommodations you need. Their banquet hall is located in Blasdell, just minutes from downtown Buffalo. Their main banquet room can accommodate up to 275 guests. They also have smaller rooms more intimate weddings or rehearsal dinners. They recently expanded parking so that all your guests will easily find a spot.

History
Ilio DiPaolo was born in Italy in 1926 and left in 1949 for Venezuela. While wrestling in Caracas he met the promoter of the wrestling alliance and the Madison Square Garden Arena, Tutz Mondt. He signed a contract to come wrestle in the States and arrived in 1951 in New York with his work visa. After meeting and marrying his wife, Ethel he traveled around the U.S. and other countries wrestling. Years and years later with several children, Ilio DiPaolo decided to settle down in Buffalo, New York to open a restaurant. He retired from his successful wrestling career in 1965 and opened a pizzeria the same year. They were successful and eventually expanded their business before Ilio DiPaolo passed away in 1995. He is currently in the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame, and the Canadian Hall of Fame.
