We loved working with Melissa at Metro Floral Decorators for our wedding at Terrace on the Park! Melissa helped guide me in thinking through the best color patterns and flowers to match our bridesmaids’ colored dresses.The bouquets and boutonnieres were also fresh and lovely. Excellent Florist

Metro Flowers in Astoria did a beautiful job with the flower arrangements for my daughter’s wedding at Terrace on the Park on September 4. We worked with Melissa, who is very knowledgeable and gave us good advice. I am allergic to many flowers so I requested orchids, as much as possible, and they met all my requirements. The chuppah was elegant and beautiful, with white roses, white hydrangeas, and white orchids with some green leaves. My daughter and her husband, in a practical and economical move, requested potted white phalaenopsis orchids for the centerpieces instead of cut flowers, so that the guests could take them home. Without my asking, Metro florist added some smaller white orchids to the soil as well as branches to make a stunning, airy, and elegant centerpiece that even now, almost a month and a half later is flourishing on my coffee table. The orchids are top quality with very large flowers. Metro Florist even, again without my asking, put a few orchids on the wedding cake!
All the bouquets and boutonnieres were fresh and lovely. Everyone commented on the beauty of the flowers. We were very pleased with all the extra touches. Thank you!

Above and Beyond

Adrian and his staff went above and beyond for our wedding! We had a smaller sized budget, but they still did an amazing job with the chuppah, the centerpieces, and the staircase in the venue. So many of our guests came up to us during and after the wedding and told us how pretty the floral arrangements were. Highly recommend them!

They brought our vision to life!

Working with Lina at Metro Floral Decorators to plan out the flowers for our wedding was an overall great experience. Lina was very patient and put ample time and attention into bringing our vision for floral displays to life. We used Metro Floral Decorators for flowers in the church, our bridal party bouquets and boutonnieres, our reception sweetheart table arbor and garland display, and the centerpieces for our 380-person wedding. The centerpiece arrangements were magnificent, and Lina took the time to make them express elements of us as a couple: the wildflower-loving, whimsical bride and classic, romantic, sophisticated groom.
Throughout the process it gave us peace of mind that Lina, Giovani, and their team have worked with our wedding venue, Terrace on the Park, for many years as the preferred vendor. Other floral vendors who are unfamiliar with the venue may have been overwhelmed with our grand ballroom reception space, but the Metro Floral team were experts when it came to coordinating with venue staff and creating a magical atmosphere in a tremendous space. The level of skill and dedication Metro Floral Decorators put into their displays is evident in the final presentation.
Not only were we blown away by our flowers on the day of the wedding, we continue to be impressed every time we look through our wedding photos.

We used Metro Floral for our wedding on July 8 2018 and we loved everything. They did a phenomenal job with all the flower arrangements and decor that we rented from them. We worked with Lina the whole time and she was so sweet, professional and worked with our budget to create the look we wanted. She was easy to reach at any time and made sure everything was met our standards. I would highly recommend them for any occasion.

I used Metro Floral Decorators in Astoria for my wedding on May 12, 2018. I first found out about the company after attending a bridal show at Leonard’s back in February 2018. When I saw their elaborate sweetheart set-up, which included a canopy, beautiful king and queens chairs, accompanied with beautiful floral designs, I knew I needed to meet with them again. The representative for Metro Floral at the bridal show is named Carlos, and from the first meeting there to the end of our wedding, he was truly a Gem to work with. He is very kind, considerate, and knowledgeable. He, along with the owner, worked within my budget to provide me with the elaborate design that was extremely impressive and my guests who attended the reception at Jericho Terrace still cannot stop talking about it. Carlos listened to me and even gave me his cell phone number to call or text him at anytime, which I did without hesitation because he made me feel so comfortable. When I entered the ballroom and saw the beautiful canopy sweetheart set up, the stunning floral arrangements on each table on top of a gold candelabra and so many other lavish touches, it brought tears to my eyes. This is a company I would use again in the future and would definitely recommend to others, which I have by the way. They added a level of ease to planning a fabulous and elaborate wedding in a matter of three months. Thank you so much Carlos and Metro from my heart. Metro Floral Decorators did an awesome job at our wedding reception. We worked with Lina who was very patient and had great recommendations on floral designs for our party. We showed her pictures of the floral design we wanted for our party and they were able to recreate the look better than we could’ve imagined. The prices were very reasonable and we liked the extra options they offered like the sweetheart table special linen, candles and rose petals on the tables. Those extra finishing touches really made the whole look we wanted come together. We highly recommend Metro Floral Decorators. Their service was great!!

This is the second wedding that we had the pleasure to use Metro Floral Decorators in Great Neck. Once again Adrian nailed it. He is extremely creative and an absolute pleasure to work with. The flowers were incredibly beautiful. The room was magnificent-- absolutely breathtaking. Surpassed our expectations. The chupah was exactly what my daughter had envisioned. Everything was just perfect.

I am so happy i choose Metro Florist for my big engagement party, I had a great experience with them. Being local was even better. They were very flexible and affordable. The young lady who works there made me so happy and comfortable she made sure she had all of my needs met, they really went above and beyond ! Anything i needed they delivered so accurately with the flowers and setting up of centerpieces. I also rented big glamourous chairs which were such a hit, i'm very happy to have done business with them and i recommend them to all engagement party/ wedding events !

We looked into Metro Floral because my husband cousin just got married and referred them to us. We went in to speak to Giovanni and were immediately happy. Giovanni gave us everything we wanted and more. I told him specifically how I wanted it to look and told him if he could do a trail. Of course he said yes, when we went into see how the arrangements would look we hired him on the spot. The day of I was completely blown away, the centerpieces were so breathtaking. Everyone told me they loved them. If you want someone who is easy to work with and does everything you want, go with them!

Veronica is AMAZING!!!! I brought a picture of the bouquet I wanted and she gave me exactly what I asked for. All of the flowers smelled amazing. My girls loved their bouquets and then boutonnieres were such a great touch for the men in my bridal party. I loved everything. A few guests took the centerpieces I picked and they are so in love with how great they smell. Thank you guys!

Veronica is AMAZING!!!! I brought a picture of the bouquet I wanted and she gave me exactly what I asked for. All of the flowers smelled amazing. All of the flowers were amazing. We were on an extreme buget when it came down to flowers. Veronica was help us so much. She put together a great package which included my wife's bouquet (throwing and keepsake), bridesmaid bouquets, flowers for parents (both sides), flower girl basket and rose petals, flowers for the cake, card table decorations, couples table decoration, and 15 centerpieces that our guess were able to keep. The detail that Veronica and her team put into making your vision reality is incredible.

Metro Floral did an unbelievable job at our wedding. They went above and beyond in every way. We had some last minute changes for our ceremony space and Metro accommodated without a problem and made it gorgeous. Our sweetheart table had one of the best arrangements i've ever seen on it, something they obviously put extra effort and care into. The Plaza is a gorgeous venue and our floral arrangements only added to the beauty of the space. I'd highly recommend Metro to any family or friends.

She was so cheerful and positive, and she offered her honest, professional opinion when we were picking out colors and arrangements. She also worked with our budget to make sure we got something nice while not breaking the bank, which we really, really appreciated. I was on a budget with flowers and walked into the first appt with a "whatever i dont care what i get bc im not going to be spending much" type attitude since on a budget, but left with a huge smile and confidence that my reception was going to be as beautiful as i wanted it to be ! This place is great!! I had a quote from another florist which would include my centerpieces, bouquets, arrange flowers & decorations etc for $6,000. That florist was crazy!! I found this florist through another wedding that my father had attended. I went to the store and the service was amazing. helped me through the process and provided great service at a great price. I received exactly what I wanted and more for $2,500. Great price for over 48 arrangements, decore vases, candelabras, chuppah, columns, lighting and many other items as well. i love it!!

Metro Floral Decorators was fantastic for our wedding this past Sunday. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous, our centerpieces were so beautiful, the extra cake decorations were a beautiful touch, our bridal couple table was magnificent. The petals for our ceremony were also really nicely done and most importantly they showed up early and got everything done perfectly as we decided on. I am very pleased with their performance for us. Thank you!!!
