  Fantastic photographer

  Johnny was amazing. He was so easy to work with, took amazing pictures, and was incredibly flexible with working around our delays on the wedding day. While we are still waiting for the finished product (we got married two weeks ago) the few pictures he's sent us have been amazing. Pricing was reasonable, and he was so professional. He came highly recommended from my cousin and I would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a photographer!!

  Johnny was amazing. He was so easy to work with, took amazing pictures, and was incredibly flexible with working around our delays on the wedding day.   Awesome-sauce

  My husband and I couldn't have been more delighted to have Johnny photograph our wedding. We are pretty awakward when it comes to having a lens pointed at us but Johnny made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. The pictures came out fantastic!
  
  I really can't say enough great things so here is a list of awesome facts that I feel are good to know:
  1- Johnny is personable. His pictures reflect the effort he puts into getting to know his clients.
  2- Johnny is funny. When a photographer is bascially with you the entire day, having good humor is important.
  3- Johnny is thoughtful. You can see it in the quality of his photos, his responses to you in emails, and his overall person!!
  
  Thank you Johnny for capturing our wedding day and giving us memories we can cherish for a lifetime!

  Johnny is THE BEST! Our wedding was on 10/22/16 and Johnny was our photographer. Picking a photographer for the most important day of your life can be very stressful, but my husband found Johnny and we both fell in love with his photography style. It was extremely important to both of us that on the day of our wedding we didn't feel pressured to pose for pictures and wanted natural/action shots. His photos and talent speak for themselves, but his demeanor, professionalism and style made for an 'above and beyond' photographer. We did engagement photos and he shot our ENTIRE wedding day in August... from getting ready to the final song - he was there, capturing the most amazing photos and memories.
  
  Everyone we show our wedding photos to agree -- these are AWESOME -- and we still could not be happier with our decision to have him as our photographer.

  Ben and I had wanted a really small intimate wedding so instead of planning a big celebration in England, we decided to get married in New York. It all sounded great on paper but the planning was quite difficult as it was all planned remotely via email. I had wanted to find a photographer that we could feel relaxed with, especially as I really hate having my picture taken and came across Johnny when I searched the Fearless Photographer site.
  He appealed to us straight away as the photos in his portfolio were the kind of thing we were going for.
  From Johnny’s first email back to me I knew that he was someone we should work with. Having only been able communicate with people via email for our wedding, it was hard to build any sort of rapport or get an idea if they would ‘get us’. I was nervous as a few of the vendors I had reached out to weren’t that great on customer service!!
  But Johnny was soo lovely. I had explained that we were getting married in Central Park but yet to decide where. We wanted some cool photos but didn’t know what and he sent me back a long email full of ideas.
  Up until the day of the wedding, he responded to my emails as soon as he could, always so helpful.
  It was lovely to finally meet him on the day. For someone who really feels uncomfortable in front of the camera, he really put me at ease and I didn’t even notice he was taking photos. All our guests commented on how good he was, he’d (politely) stop mid conversation as he’d notice a great photo opportunity!!
  We had our meal and drinks on a boat on the hudson river and asked him to just enjoy himself and feel part of the day - which I hope he did. We just received our photos and they really are beautiful.
  I can’t say enough how lovely he is. Really helpful, professional, easy to work with. We want to do it all again!!
  We would wholeheartedly recommend him!!

  Johnny was truly such a pleasure to work with during our engagement and wedding shoots! Johnny was the first and the only photographer we met with during our initial planning stages, because we knew during our meeting that Johnny's style was exactly what we were looking for in a photographer. His portfolio illustrated his skill at capturing people in candid, natural essences where everyone looked completely comfortable and unaware that a camera was documenting their special day. We enjoyed the story Johnny's photos told, and were excited to see how he would capture our day. For our engagement session, we shot at the Highline in New York and Johnny was very patient with us and got us to feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Prior to our wedding, it was very easy to email or Skype Johnny to review any special photo requests or go over any questions/concerns we might have had. On our wedding day, Johnny arrived on time and was really flexible taking all the shots we requested and more. Our reception was on the waterfront, and we were so thankful that Johnny pulled us away from the reception for a few minutes at sunset to capture some really awesome shots on the docks. We received the final photos when we were on our honeymoon in Greece, and were so excited and happy with the final results! After seeing how the engagement photos turned out, we knew we were in good hands with Johnny for our wedding, but actually, the final wedding photos surpassed our expectations. We can't wait to share them with our friends, family and work with Johnny to make an album so we can cherish them forever. Thank you so much, Johnny!

  Johnny and his assistant were great. We only saw the preview pictures and in love with them. Unfortunately, durning the allotted time to take pictures it wasn't the best weather but both Johnny and his assistant made the experience enjoyable and still got great shots. Later in the evening, the weather cleared up and they asked us to run outside to get a few more shots. Also very flexible dealing with a large bridal party and large family pictures. Would completely recommend Johnny to anyone.

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Johnny Wolf. From the moment I looked him up online I knew I wanted him to be my wedding photographer. His photos just looked so stunning, and a great photographer was probably my top priority when it came to budgeting for my big day. One of the first things that made Johnny stand out was that he offered his services to us for the entire day. Most photographers I contacted gave us a set number of hours they would be with us, and I just did not like that. He showed up exactly on time and was so kind and professional. Both the girls and guys loved working with him. He took the most beautiful pictures throughout the day, even during the craziness of the reception! He was extremely responsive to emails, calls, and texts and I never felt like I couldn't get a hold of him. After the wedding, he sent previews almost immediately and the pictures were STUNNING! Shortly after we got all of the pictures and I couldn't be happier. I am quite possibly the least photogenic human being alive and he managed to make me look beautiful. I can't even describe how beautiful every single picture came out. If you are looking for a wonderful wedding photographer, look no further. Johnny Wolf is the best and I promise you will not be disappointed

  I can't say enough AMAZING things about Johnny. From the moment we contacted him until the last shot he took at our wedding, he was just so easy to work with. He had done both our engagement and wedding photos, and both came out just beautiful. As people who don't usually take photographs, we were worried that we would look awkward in our pictures. But he had put our mind at ease and made it a comfortable and fun experience. Our guests also complimented at his professionalism and how easy it was for him to find a great shot. He is definitely someone you would love to have capture your most unforgettable moments. Thanks Johnny!

  Johnny Wolf and his photos speak for themselves...He is the consummate professional while being relaxed and fun!   Back when my husband and I were in the drawing-board stages of planning our wedding, I told him that, while there were plenty of places to be financially conservative, having good photos was not negotiable. Kevin found Johnny Wolf through internet searches, and I was smitten with his work almost immediately. After we met with him to discuss his work and our wedding, I remarked to Kevin how quickly and seamlessly he put us at ease, and how that was one of the marks of a great photographer. Johnny was very receptive to what we had to say about our vision, what we liked and disliked about wedding photography in general, and he quickly drew up a proposal that catered to both our priorities and our budget. A few months later, we had an engagement shoot, and we were thrilled with the finished product.
  
  Anyone looking at his work will quickly learn that he is a hugely gifted photographer, obviously deserving of five stars, and that's a given. I am personally choosing to give Johnny the highest possible rating because of all the other stuff--his kindness, humor, positive attitude, and his uncanny ability to be your calm in the storm. There is only so much planning two people can do to prepare for their wedding day, and a few small things went awry on mine (as they inevitably will for you, too). Johnny was flexible, made very helpful suggestions, got a wonderful variety of photos, but never made us feel rushed. Johnny is a real gem, and I have no hesitations recommending him wholeheartedly.

  Johnny shot all day. He literally never stopped--I kept urging him to drink and eat and take a break but he was just into shooting! Throughout the day, I could see inspiration take over his face as he discovered or thought of a different shot, and then he would set it up and take it.
  
  Our wedding day was very hot, and he schlepped around two heavy cameras all day on leather harnesses and didn't complain once--instead he kept spirits light, and really encouraged the group to take fun photos. He even put up with my crazy family, and did so with a smile. ;)
  
  His shots, posing and visions are very unique, and his prices are very reasonable for what you get. Our gallery was PACKED with awesome shots! He shot us around DUMBO but I'm sure he would be great in any setting.

  I spent a lot of time researching and interview photographers before finding Johnny Wolf Photography. I knew within five minutes of talking to Johnny that he was the right person for us! In sum, he's simply a really nice guy that is efficient and effective at his work approach. Johnny is a pleasure to work with from beginning to end.
  
  He was extremely helpful in the planning process and especially the months, weeks, and days leading up to the wedding. He is able to provide helpful information in an efficient manner so there was no need to take up a lof of our precious planning time. Most importantly, Johnny was such a calming and professional presence on the day of the wedding. He managed to somehow constantly take photos without making us feel like he was always in our face. Hes a ninja Photographer!! I would strongly suggest having him be part of as much of the day as possible so he can capture lots of moments leading up to the ceremony and reception.
  
  We just received our photos and are more than pleased with his work...He captured way more than we were expecting and the close attention to detail on all photos (and edited ones) is much appreciated.
  
  I hope you consider working with Johnny as he REALLY does deserve a 5 star rating for his work on my wedding!!

  Johnny was amazing to work with. From the very beginning, he was interested in making sure he understood what we wanted, from capturing the feel of the day to specific shots.
  Our family and friends barely noticed him zipping around, day of, and of all the things I remember from my ceremony, Johnny was invisible (in the best way possible). When we got the photos back, I couldn't believe the shots he captured! How did he do all that without being in the way? No idea. Even in the photos friends posted to social media, he's nowhere to be found. The man is a magician and his photographs are beautiful.
  I only wish we lived closer so that he could take all of our family photographs in the future (we relocated to Florida), and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.   Johnny is the perfect laid back/organized combination of a photographer. He is fantastic to work with. I would highly recommend him to anyone. His ability to facilitate in the most hectic conditions (and my conditions were quite hectic) is quite impressive. We are really looking forward to getting our digital prints :)

  I'm so happy we chose Johnny as our wedding photographer. We couldn't have asked for a nicer or more talented person to capture the best moments of our big day. Johnny made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and he was extremely organized from the beginning, helping us plot out the day's activities and scouting for amazing backgrounds ahead of time. Johnny puts 110 percent into his shoots. He also is very accommodating--he was happy to drive out to Long Island for our engagement shots--and creative--no dull photos here.   We just got married in May at Dyker Beach Golf Course in Brooklyn, NY. We cannot even begin to describe how happy we are that we chose Johnny to be our wedding photographer. From the moment we met Johnny, my husband and I KNEW that he would be our photographer. Johnny is extremely professional, but he also relates in a way that makes you feel immediately at ease and like you have known him forever. Leading up the wedding, Johnny was incredibly supportive, responsive and helpful. Johnny shot our engagement photos in Prospect Park and did a fantastic job, and we knew our wedding day would be just as successful. During the day of the wedding, Johnny was incredible. He arrived early, and got to work immediately. Our day ended up being very hectic with unexpected rain which caused a lot of delays in our picture taking, but Johnny still managed to get in all of the shots that we wanted, and more! Our pictures came out INCREDIBLY! Many people have told us that they were the best wedding photos they have ever seen, and I would have to agree. He really knows how to capture the love between two people, without being overly restrictive about posing you. If you want a photographer who is truly talented, professional, and all around amazing person, choose Johnny!

  I took one look at Johnny's blog and knew that I wanted him to photograph our big day. Between his photos and his words, you get to relive your special day over and over.
  Johnny was amazing! He is sweet and warm, unassuming yet passionate. He put us at ease and really made a point of working with us to capture all of the major moments and people at our wedding. Even the other vendors thought he was tops.

  We travelled from England to NYC to get married in January 2013. We didn’t want the big fuss of a white wedding, but it was really important to us to have amazing photography that truly captured the emotion of our day to share with family back home. With Johnny, that’s exactly what we got.
  Johnny was a true professional but he was friendly and relaxed – in fact, it felt more like spending the day with a (very talented) friend. We had a couple of our own ideas for shots, which he researched in advance and approached with real enthusiasm. His experience also meant that he had plenty of his own ideas for some breath-taking images. The freezing cold weather didn’t put him off either (although in hindsight I might have worn more than a cardigan!).
  To be honest, it was a genuine pleasure to share our wedding day with him. At no point did we feel uncomfortable or rushed – quite the opposite. Johnny doesn’t charge you by the hour like so many other NYC photographers we looked at, which I think is a massive plus because the day FLIES by and it meant we didn’t feel like we had to compromise on deciding between locations because we had plenty of time.
  Johnny really brought our nerves, tears, laughter and elation to life through his work. Our family and friends were blown away when we showed them the images – and so were we.
  Like lots of young couples we were on a budget, but Johnny was affordable and incredible value. He’s also just a really lovely, affable guy with an incredible talent and an eye for detail which I think you would struggle to find with anyone else.
  We never leave reviews, but Johnny deserves huge success and we can not thank him enough.
  We ended up with HUNDREDS of stunning photographs (I still can’t look through them without feeling teary all over again!) which are a now a beautiful reminder of our day which we will treasure forever. Hiring Johnny was the best money we’ve ever spent – and we’d recommend him in a heartbeat.

  We're so glad we hired Johnny Wolf for our wedding and post-wedding shoot. I found him on Yelp and checked out his website and fell in love with his photos. I have to say, I'm not particularly photogenic but our photos came out absolutely wonderful. I've also always been camera-shy but felt really comfortable around a camera for the first time with Johnny. I felt like he gave just the right amount of direction and for the other half of the time we barely noticed he was there, which was nice. He captured all of the great, impromptu, and important moments that I'd hoped he'd capture and he captured them beautifully.
  
  I would recommend him solely on the amazing photos he took but I also have to say, Johnny is just a really nice human being. He was always professional.
