  Friendly, Supportive, Everywhere at Once

  Jocelyn was fantastic during our wedding. She was easy to talk with, created a very comfortable environment day of, and gave us the most stunning photos. Would recommend her to anyone for their special day.

  5-Star NYC Elopement

  Jocelyn made our NYC elopement happen! My wife and I decided to get married with two weeks’ notice. Jocelyn was so responsive and easy to work with. She was incredibly organized and sent us great referrals for all the vendors we needed to make the day happen. Jocelyn was such a joy to be around, she made us comfortable and told us exactly what to do for the pictures (which was so helpful). Not only did she make our day seamless and special, the photographs were beautiful and were delivered ahead of schedule. Getting married during a pandemic wasn’t ideal, but Jocelyn took all the safety precautions seriously and made us feel safe. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing. We would recommend Jocelyn for anyone looking to elope!

  Awesome Experience from Start to Finish

  After doing some research for an elopement photographer (less than 3 months before the big day), I came across Everly Studios. With the rise of couples turning away from traditional weddings, there were a lot of photographers specializing in elopements with great websites that detail the elopement process. What made Jocelyn’s website stand out to me was the style of her photos; how every one of her sample galleries rightfully looked like their own stories as opposed to different couples in the same exact poses. I reached out to her and we met for coffee. My fiancé and I had a pretty clear idea of what we wanted and she pulled all the details in. I appreciated all the questions she asked, really showing how she wants to personalize each event. She also set me up with the officiant she frequently works with, gave me suggestions for cake and hair/makeup and helped set up the timeline (she was also really flexible, and let us play by ear whether we wanted to shoot at a second location); her role was not just photographer, but also wedding planner. Jocelyn was really easy to talk to and 10 minutes into our meeting, I knew she was the right choice.
  
  One thing I will note is that when we were reviewing the contract, we realized that it included a model release clause, which gives her rights to use our images. We were really uncomfortable with this, as we do appreciate our privacy. I looked around and it appears this is pretty typical in photography contracts. After discussing it more with my fiancé, we decided to agree to this as seeing other couples’ galleries is what drew us to picking her in the first place and why not let others see how well she captured our event, too. We have no regrets about this, but if this is something that is a dealbreaker for you, my suggestion would be to ask potential photographers about this upfront.
  
  The big day came and went without a hitch, although I can tell she is the kind of person who can adapt to situations, stay calm during them and keep the couple calm as well! There was a mix of cued poses (nothing ridiculously unnatural though) and a lot of her just observing us and photographing us getting dressed, during the ceremony and afterwards. I forgot to mention that we wanted this to be a really intimate event, with no family or friends; just us, Jocelyn and the officiant. I’ll admit, it did feel a little awkward for us to be the center of attention the whole evening without any other subjects around for her to photograph, but it really did feel more like a friend was around; we felt that comfortable with her. The next morning, she sent a link to highlights of our wedding as a sneak peak and to share with family and friends. About 4 weeks later, we received the full gallery and we were both so impressed at how she documented our special day and how we not only looked like ourselves, but also felt like ourselves while we were being photographed, too! I would definitely recommend Jocelyn as a photographer, she truly has a gift for what she does.

  Amazing Elopement Photographer

  Jocelyn was such a pleasure to work with. From the very beginning when we first reached out, she was super responsive and helped us through the entire process of location selection, lined up a wonderful officiant and made herself available for any other questions we had along the way. In the days leading up to our ceremony, Jocelyn made a point to reach out a couple times to make sure we were all set and even offered a few alternative locations due to the high chance of rain on our day. We lucked out with the weather and ended up sticking to our original plan in Brooklyn Bridge Park. The location was absolutely perfect. My husband and I are both pretty awkward when it comes to taking photographs and Jocelyn made us feel entirely comfortable which allowed us to really have fun with it. Her speediness in getting back our photographs was also such a nice surprise. She knew we were leaving the country the next day and she ended up sending us previews that very evening – meaning she went home from our shoot and spent her Friday night editing our photos. The full album came before the promised 2 weeks. Our entire wedding album is amazing – her photography style and editing is crisp and natural and so beautiful. I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our day!

  A fabulous wedding/elopement photographer!

  We're thrilled with Jocelyn's photos of our NYC elopement and can't thank her enough. Not only is she really talented, she's also lovely to work with.
  
  We were keeping an eye on our budget, but photography was top priority and we didn't want to compromise. Jocelyn was really accommodating with this and gave us plenty of options. She was also very patient with all our questions!
  
  As for the wedding itself, she shot the day perfectly. Number one, she captured our happiness and we feel good about ourselves in the pictures (this was no mean feat as we generally look unfortunate in photos and previously owned just one or two that we actually liked!) On top of this, she ticked off our dream NY backdrops: from the Ladies Pavilion and Bethesda Terrace in Central Park, to Times Square, and the zebra crossing at Radio City Music Hall (she literally risked life and limb to get that one). As if this wasn't enough, she even photoshopped the mud I'd got on my dress from our favourite photos, so we have several solid "framers." An extra thank you for this!
  
  Needless to say I would definitely recommend Jocelyn for a NY elopement or wedding. It's the ultimate backdrop so you don't want to skimp on photography!

  Elopement Photos

  We were so lucky to have worked with Jocelyn as our elopement photographer during our wedding in New York. She was professional from the beginning, engaging in FaceTime calls and emails as often as we needed. She helped with everything from inspiring our choice of hotel to helping me book my hair appointment! On the day of our wedding itself, Jocelyn was prompt, knowledgable and hugely personable - it felt like we had one of our own friends there with us and I'm delighted to have called her our witness. Eloping is difficult when you haven't told friends or family so to have a photographer who knew exactly the best spots to take us was so reassuring - it meant our family really could re-live the day with us when we got home. The photos are absolutely beautiful - so young, modern and truly indicative of the joy we felt on the day. We are so excited to show them off and our family (young and old) have been incredibly complimentary. I really would recommend Jocelyn to anyone and cannot praise her highly enough. She is a wonderful photographer and we very much enjoyed working with her.

  The best!!

  I live in Sydney and I was looking for an elopement photographer to take some pictures for us at our wedding in NYC. Jocelyn came up in a search and from the start she was amazing. She is so friendly and personable it was a pleasure to deal with her. She helped us out with the process as we were getting married at City Hall, which was a major plus point, she was even the witness for our wedding.   The best wedding/elopement photographer

  Jocelyn was an absolute dream to work with, we can’t thank her enough. From the initial enquiry to the finished product she made everything so easy, and understood exactly what we wanted from our wedding photographer. We didn’t know the area so we put a lot of trust in Jocelyn, we also had to deal with bad weather which she somehow managed to use to her advantage, and we have ended up with the most wonderful elopement photographs that we will treasure forever. We highly recommend Everly Studios, Jocelyn massively exceeded the expectations we had for our wedding photos, as well as being extremely professional she was a joy to spend time with on our wedding day.

  NYC Wedding

  Me and my now wife used Everly Studios for our big day and we cannot say enough good things about it! Jocelyn is a professional who went out of her way to make our day extra special and enjoyable. Not only were our photos 10/10 but Jocelyn was our pseudo wedding planner. She helped us find hotels, get permits, recommended hair/makeup for my wife, and navigate the streets of NYC on an extremely busy weekend. We would recommend Everly Studios to anyone looking to tie the knot in an intimate but elegant way.

  Perfect photos for a perfect day

  Booking Jocelyn as our wedding photographer was probably the best money we spent, and I'm including our booze budget in that. She was the perfect photographer for our NYC elopement at the city clerk's office; not only were her images gorgeous (and sent to us ahead of schedule!), but she was also a great resource for our city hall wedding and what to expect/do. She also suggested a perfect spot for our post-ceremony shoot.
  
  Before we booked her, we met up to chat so that we could share more about ourselves and our relationship. It was great getting to know her, which helped us feel even more comfortable on the day of.
  
  The photos themselves are perfect. The posed photos of us, our friends, and our families are lovely, and I couldn't be happier with the candid, documentary-style ones of the day. She captured some really great moments that will always remind us of what a happy, love-filled day we had

  I cannot recommend Jocelyn more highly, she was AMAZING. I was blown away by her ability to not only capture beautiful pictures, but also the true emotions and moments of the day. She was always incredibly upbeat and responsive, and helped guide us through the City Hall wedding process with ease. She has an amazing eye for the perfect shot, and was totally down to go along with all our crazy picture ideas! Thank you, Jocelyn!

  Jocelyn was the perfect wedding photographer! She was extremely sweet, helpful, and comforting. She made everything so easy and got incredible shots. Numerous people told us - unprompted - how fantastic she was. We couldn’t agree more! She was extremely organized and so accommodating with communication, questions, and planning the day/photo timeline ahead of time. We could not recommend Jocelyn as a wedding photographer more!!

  The best NYC wedding photographer!

  My (now) husband and I found Jocelyn/Everly Studios on a whim as we were researching intimate/chill NYC wedding options, and we immediately feel in love with her style. It was bright and joyous yet extremely personal. My husband is a photographer himself and is extremely picky. We scheduled a meeting with her and immediately clicked. Jocelyn was so easy to work with. From our first correspondence she was professional and mindful of our personal style/wants/needs. Our wedding day was a breeze, and with her keen eye Jocelyn helped us get all of our dream shots. We just received our gallery, and we couldn’t be happier. She is the dream wedding photographer.

  I was very happy with everyone who helped make my wedding happen, but I have to say Jocelyn was at the very top of the list.
  
  We found Jocelyn because she had previously photographed a wedding at our venue and the photos were incredible. We wanted beautiful pictures but ones that seemed natural and not cliche or staged "wedding photos." From the moment I met Jocelyn, I knew she was the right photographer for our wedding. In the months leading up to the day, she had awesome recommendations for a number of other vendors, including a florist (Ivie Joy) who did the most breathtaking arrangements I've ever seen.
  
  Our experience on the day of our wedding was wonderful. Jocelyn was so professional and fun to hang out with and knew all the best spots in Brooklyn to take photos. I didn't realize how fun the photo shoot part of the day was going to be!
  
  Jocelyn was the only person taking photos at our event, but she completely captured all of the different parts of our wedding day. Many of my favorite shots were her candids. I adored the photos that she took and so did everyone else. The photos were also ready very quickly and we look at them all the time to relive the day!

  Jocelyn was wonderful. She captured our marriage at NYC City Hall and then went to a handful of special locations for more photos. The photos came out fantastic, we couldn't have asked for a better day and the photos really showed that. She was extremely flexible and easy going. She'll be doing another event for us this summer and we are so glad we booked her!

We are from Scotland and were getting married in NYC so she set up a Skype call to meet and discuss options, which was a wonderful way of putting us at ease, answering all our queries, giving her advice and making us feel that she was invested in our special day. Whenever we emailed additional questions, she always prompt to reply and she gave up her time by having an additional Skype call closer to the day. She listened to what we wanted, some candid shots in a natural setting and something edgier and she recommended Central Park and Dumbo in Brooklyn for the street art. We are so happy we chose Jocelyn as our photographer and with the finished results that we received soon after. She made us feel so relaxed on the day, which shows through in the pictures and we would highly recommend her as a photographer for any special occasion. She offers a professional yet personal service and is an absolute joy to work with.
