If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, I’ll save you some time and introduce you to Heather! From day 1, Heather made us feel comfortable and at home, something we were so impressed with. During our engagement photoshoot, she provided us fun little games to get in the groove and captured special moments that we couldn’t have dreamed of. We were so excited to show off her work to family and even more excited for her vision on our wedding day.
Leading up to then, she exceptionally communicated to us logistics and shot planning. She was very flexible and scheduled several meetings to really flush out our desired photos. Heather provided unique guidance that made preparation easy, especially with coordinating with our wedding planner.
On our wedding day, we worked with Heather and Sihan, her second photographer. We also worked with Alex Yuan and Ben for videography. The whole team was a joy to be with, naturally guiding us and capturing candid moments we shared with our bridal party. Because of all the planning, the bridal party shots and family shots went very smoothly.
Most importantly, we were blown away with our final photos. We were amazed by Heather’s dedication to her clients, providing us with so many perfectly crafted pictures. She also remained patient for months after the wedding, working with us to get our wedding album details in place. We could not be happier with the moments she captured on her camera, photos that we love to share with family and friends.
Alex did a great job with video as well, even providing us with a trailer video while he edited the main video. We loved the cinematic take on our wedding day, painting a picture of both the intimate moments at the start of the day to the fun times in the evening.

Highly highly recommend!!! My now husband and I won second place for an engagement shoot. We were able to tell from the emails that Heather, (Owner, Creative Director, Planner, and Lead Photographer) was a very nice and bubbly person. When we finally met in person it’s as if we knew her forever. She got to know us in a fun manner, and really adapted that to our shoot. We had a blast and as soon as we got in the car, we both said Heather is going to be our wedding photographer. We announced our decision after we went through all the engagement photos, which were stunning. My husband and I had a venue change and we’re super worried that Heather wouldn’t be able to accommodate it, but thankfully she was even though this made her commute about an hour and half long. Prior to the wedding Heather made us this detailed Google document where we had free range to fill out a questionnaire and place to add photo ideas. Communication was never an issue either, between text, email, and zoom meetings, we were always on the same page. The day of the wedding Heather had a second person, Sihan. She was in charge of taking photos of the men and then seconding Heather photos. Sihan was so sweet and and her photos are just as perfect. Between both photographers the day went smooth between locations, getting ready photos, ceremony, and reception. We had over 1200 amazing photos to go through!! We were able to choose 60 for our album, which is more than most couples have told me. We choose a custom album cover material, color, and add some type of personal touch to it. The pages are thick and durable and it’s just a beautiful way to remember the day. Heather is amazing! We are already planning on having her take maternity photos when that time comes! Cannot praise her enough.

Heather is AMAZING!! She as a person is so nice and very helpful, we felt so comfortable to work with her! She gives directions very well, she listens to what YOU want and helps make it a reality. Heather has been amazing to work with from the beginning. From the first consultation to our big event, she was extremely dedicated to making sure we were nothing but satisfied. My husband and I are not crazy about taking photos and have always thought professional photos weren’t necessary but knew we would need a photographer; Heather changed that for us!! She made us feel extremely comfortable and work through our awkwardness in our engagement photos (which came out amazing). We were so blessed to be able to work with Heather three different times - our engagement shoot, our elopement, and then our wedding reception. Heather gave us the best photography experience we've ever had, especially considering how camera shy my fiance and I generally are. She really took the time to get to know the two of us as a couple through zoom calls and was always very understanding and enthusiastic. Not only were her people skills great, but her level of professionalism and quality of photos really showed. She presented us with dozens of amazing shots and provided suggestions that helped us pose within our comfort zones when we were taking photos. We never felt rushed and you could feel the love and hard work she puts into her creations. Definitely recommend working with her to anyone looking for someone down to earth, and delivers high quality work :)

Heather is amazing! We have utilized heather for our engagement photos where she met us in Hoboken with 3 CAMERAS! Prior to and after our photo shoot we had zoom meetings that were detailed and oriented to our style as a couple, things we want and don’t want, and how she can execute our vision. Her expertise is easily recognizable by the creative thought she puts into each shot. We even had to reschedule due to weather which she accommodated easily! Where do I begin, Heather is an incredible talented photographer to work with! Goes above and beyond to do a great job! Through a recommendation of a professional wedding hair stylist, we were introduced to "Heather Olker Photography". From the start, Heather's approach and her overall personality was one that aligned completely with us. You will come across several vendors during the wedding planning process that have overpowering personalities.. Heather and her team are very well organized, responsive, sweet, helpful and communicated very well with us and with our coordinator at the venue. She helped us in creating the perfect timeline for our wedding day, made us feel completely comfortable through the process. Responded promptly to all our questions and concerns. She traveled from NY to Boston to photograph our engagement photo session, and wedding photos. Which we absolutely love!!!
All things being equal, my husband and I are not the most photogenic people ;) The engagement photo session (which I encourage everyone to get one, if only as an opportunity to get to know your photographer before the big day) it allowed us an opportunity to see Heather as someone who completely goes with the flow with our collective vision. There is so much attention to detail you put into your wedding day and those memories are all now fleeting. Heather was the most amazing photographer we could have asked for! After seeing the stunning images on Heathers website, I knew she was our photographer I wanted to capture my wedding memories! Her talent and eye are perfect in finding the special moments throughout the day. Her and her team were a joy to work with and beyond amazing!!! I’m so happy she was part of our wedding day!
