AMAZING! I can't say enough about Chef Danes Kitchen. It's been 9 days and I'm still dreaming of the panzanella salad, the sea scallops, and the dark chocolate and pistachio tart. The presentation was beautiful and the taste of everything exceeded our expectations. Masha at CDK was an absolute pleasure to work with and she helped us with our menu until it was exactly what we wanted. Chef Danes Kitchen served the best food I've ever had at a wedding (I'm not just saying that because it was my own), and I hope we get to work with CDK again someday soon! Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to hire a chef for any event. -

As the saying goes when one door closes, another opens.
With the events of 2020 a full large scale wedding at a venue morphed into an intimate backyard wedding for 40. We never imagined how our daughter's (the bride) professional relationship with Dane would be such a blessing when he agreed to cater her wedding.
We want to make this testimonial short In hopes it gets read in its entirety.
Dane prepared a plated rehearsal dinner meal (on Friday evening for 25), Saturday box lunches for the bride/bridal party get ready meal and a plated meal for the wedding as well as providing bar service. The food was far and away some of the best we have eaten in our entire life (and we have eaten a lot of very good food). It is a true testament that several nights after the wedding it was the food we would talk about more so than the beautiful event, ceremony bride and groom.
To top off the food Dane is warm and as cool as a cucumber while executing his art. He is calm, friendly, and hospitable (far from the overtly stressed snappy stereotypical chef). It seems as though Dane's calmness resinates to his staff who are equally lovely, and hospitable ,while at the same time paying extraordinary attention to detail for set up, service, and clean-up.
At the end of the weekend Dane and his staff felt more like dear dear friends rather than a vendor.
In summary CDK was instrumental in making our daughter and now son-in-law's wedding weekend an even more so amazing and memorable event. Thank you CDK!!!!

We are so grateful for the amazing food and service Chef Dane's Kitchen provided for us on our wedding day. After having to cancel our original ceremony and reception due to COVID, CDK stepped up to the plate at the last minute. We had a little less than a month to re-plan our reception in our backyard for about 30 guests. CDK was more than willing to design a passed hors d'oeuvres menu and to help with the setup and clean up. Our guests were thrilled with the excellent selection, quality and quantity of the food. The servers were extremely kind and professional, and they ensured they took the necessary COVID precautions. They even remembered my favorite appetizer and made sure my new husband and I had plenty to eat. I would HIGHLY recommend them for your wedding reception or any other special event. -

Dane and his team are nothing short of amazing. Not only are they professional but the food is hand's down the best I have ever tasted. We hired Dane and his team for our rehearsal dinner and wedding. Both nights were filled with fun and incredible cuisine that guests could not stop talking about even days following the wedding people could not stop talking about the food and its excellence. Dane is warm and extremely professional. His team is lovely, hospitable, and pay an incredible amount of attention to detail. At the end of the wedding, Dane and his team felt like dear friends rather than a hired vendor. They wanted the wedding to go well just as much as we did. CDK was instrumental in making our wedding weekend even more perfect than we could have imagined. Thank you Dane and the CDK team. -

Working with Chef Dane's Kitchen not only made my wedding less stressful but what they executed was delicious! As the bride, I didn't eat as much as I wanted to, but my friends commented on how fresh the food was and that they know for a fact my vison was nailed. We had a family-style meal that was mostly vegan and they hit it out of the park! Our wedding ended up being outdoors on raw land and they didn't even flinch at what it what take to pull that off. It was a great experience and I highly recommend working with Chef Dane and his team. -

Chef Dane’s meal was like going to a five-star restaurant. I keep dreaming of the sea bass. We wanted a small, classy, and intimate dinner for our wedding, and that’s exactly what we got. Chef Dane was also so easy to work with throughout the planning. We feel so lucky.
