Aruna was absolutely fantastic and well worth the monetary investment. Her pictures of my wedding are amazing. She captured all the special moments and the spirit of the occasion. I know I will cherish her photographs for years to come. She and her assistant were extremely professional, and at one point, when I was quite stressed, somehow managed to get a whole bunch of pictures of me and my groom looking very loving and relaxed. I still don't know how she managed that, but I'm extremely grateful.Aruna was absolutely fantastic and well worth the monetary investment. Her pictures of my wedding are amazing. She captured all the special moments and the spirit of the occasion. I know I will cherish her photographs for years to come. She and her assistant were extremely professional, and at one point, when I was quite stressed, somehow managed to get a whole bunch of pictures of me and my groom looking very loving and relaxed. Aruna is the BEST! Our photos came out absolutely beautifully. She was at the very top of our budget, and I definitely had to talk some people into it, but I am so glad I did. After our engagement photos, everyone agreed that we had made the right decision.
I was so disappointed that we were not able to get our wedding video taped, but about a week and a half after the wedding Aruna sent us a slideshow of pictures from the day and it was more than I could ever ask to capture the day. She listened to what we wanted, and the majority of our photos are not posed, but of what was actually happening on the day, and they are so special!
Also, she was extremely easy to work with. On the day of the wedding, after we did the posed family/bridal party photos she disappeared and I didn't notice her the entire night. I had many people come up to me and tell me that she was really great....and of course, everyone can't stop raving about our pictures!!!!!Aruna is the BEST! We chose Aruna based on her gorgeous site, the fact that she fit within our budget, and because of how well we 'meshed' with her during our very first meeting. She did our engagement photos in the fall in Ann Arbor, and had fabulous ideas and made it all super fun (even for my fiance, who always finds posed photos awkward). Needless to say, they turned out amazing. She also just shot our wedding at Cobblestone Farms, and I'm completely floored by the gorgeous images that I've seen so far. Not only did she capture the people and feeling of the day perfectly, but her detail shots of the wedding and the property make everything really pop. She did such a wonderful job that we've had strangers comment on her blog post about how great the shots are, and a friend of mine in Dublin who is planning her wedding is very seriously considering having her come overseas to shoot hers. Aruna is by the best photographer I have ever used for anything! I have seen many of my friends wedding photos, and even the ones that I loved did not compare to the beauty in Aruna's photgraphs. She has a way of really making her pictures come to life. You can look at them and actually FEEL like you are reliving those moments. I cried looking through my 1400+ wedding photos. I actually felt like I got to experience my own wedding even more through the photographs. I love her so much! My then fiance and I had gotten in a huge argument one day. That same day we got the email from Aruna with the pictures from our engagement shoot. I cried, and before I got through the photos he called me to apologize and tell me how much looking at the photos reminded him of how much he loved me. I felt exactly the same way! We were so happy with Aruna, that I am going to use her in our next adventure. I am pregnant, and have already contacted her to do a maternity shoot and a newborn shoot. Brandon & I had a destination wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico in December 2008. Finding Aruna to do our photography was the luckiest find we could have imagined!! I had looked into multiple photographers but none of them shared the vision that we had for our images, except Aruna. It was by chance that I found her amazing website online and it only took us one cup of coffee with her and we knew that she was perfect. Her sense of creativity, energy, and love for what she does was exactly what we were looking for. Her and her husband, Steve, made the journey to Mexico and they took images of our rehearsal sunset cruise along with our wedding. We had 35 guests and each of them loved Aruna and Steve. Our images are amazing! Many people who have seen them have stated that they should be in a magazine! We couldn't be happier with our images. You get so wrapped up during the special day and it is wonderful to look back at the images and relive all the memories! We have yet to put our album together...it will be almost impossible because we love all of our photos! We absolutely recommend Aruna to any couple searching for a photographer. She is a class act and excellent at her profession. Aruna came to our destination wedding as our photographer, but she and her husband left as our friends. We think that says it all!!

Aruna was the photographer for our wedding in November of 2008. She is very talented and we are very happy with all of our pictures. Aruna makes it easy to feel relaxed while having photos taken on the big day. She was practically invisible to our guests (no obnoxious flash phtography or getting in the way of festivities). Absolutely the best value - we found that similar quality photography easily costs double (if not more). I strongly recommend Aruna to any bride and groom for amazing wedding photography.Aruna was the photographer for our wedding in November of 2008. She is very talented and we are very happy with all of our pictures. Aruna makes it easy to feel relaxed while having photos taken on the big day. She was practically invisible to our guests (no obnoxious flash phtography or getting in the way of festivities). We choose Aruna B after seeing her website, her fair pricing and her modern eye for detail. Her quality exceeded her price. She really captures you in the moment. Our first impression of Aruna was she was sweet, professional & understood what we wanted. We liked that she included a free engagement session so that we could get comfortable with her before the actual wedding day (which was really easy & fun). She was very flexible with the short timeline of things (3 mo).
The day of the wedding she exceeded our expectations. We were nervous about the lighting in the Royal Park Hotel conservatory, because it was indoors and at night, but no worries the pictures came out 110%. She was never in the way and you almost didn't know she was there. She took the pictures we asked her to do and took alot of details & special moments in addition. Her artistic skills impressed everyone at our wedding and we highly recommend her!
