Wedding Planners in Rochester

Still working on my big day! Wedding planned for July 9, 2022. Alona has been a great guide in helping me in this planning process. I would be lost without her! She is Amazing and pleasant to work with.

We went with the Full-Service Planning package that Eliza offers, and we are super glad that we did. Rebecca was the lead planner that we worked with from Eliza Jane Events, and we had a great time. We started the planning process with less than a year before our desired wedding date and Rebecca was able to keep us on track the whole time, even though we got started later than most. Rebecca was in constant communication with us, consolidated everything that we needed to get done, met with us constantly to go over decisions we had to make, helped answer every question we had (even the most detailed or small questions), coordinated with every vendor and made sure they were all aware of the plans, and overall just make the whole planning process so much smoother. We honestly couldn't imagine getting everything done without her. And we haven't even mentioned all the day-off coordination. On the weekend of our wedding, Rebecca and the team made sure we had a dress rehearsal, and everything was set up in the venue according to the vision we created. On the day-of, Rebecca and the team helped us to stay on schedule, coordinate with all the vendors that were supposed to be there, made sure everything was in place and ready to go, and was just there with us throughout the day to make sure we were actually taking time to enjoy our big day. We cannot thank Rebecca, Eliza, and the whole Eliza Jane Events team for making our big day such a smooth and memorable experience!

Angela is a great communicator, which is so important when you're planning such a stressful event. I thought it was going to be much more difficult planning a destination wedding from a different state, but she really took on the hard stuff. Angela did exactly what I asked her to do and she made the whole process more enjoyable for me!

Our parents kept telling us time and time again what a "godsend" Lisa was - they were right! After mistakenly thinking I could plan a wedding alone in Rochester from NYC, I got super overwhelmed about halfway through. After about a half dozen calls with wedding planners that didn't "get" me, I spoke with Lisa. Her organization, attention to detail, mediation skills for family disagreements, and positive outlook were indispensable in the planning process. She also made sure the day went on without a hitch and we had the first "on-time" wedding I had ever been to! :) I don't know what we would have done without her and if I could change one thing about my wedding, I would have hired her the second we got engaged.

We absolutely loved Carlo! Truly went above and beyond for us. He seems to really care about the couples he works with. He did a great job entertaining our guests the whole time. I don’t think anyone left the dance floor all night. We had so much!!

The previous review is a fake that someone made up because Carrie developed this event planning business, then went on to do another bridal related business instead, and NEVER had any signed contracts or deposits from anyone! I know this for a fact because she is a very good business colleague of mine to this day and I have known her for over 30 years! Great person, smart business lady, and knows her stuff!! Good try to the jerk who tried to post a fake review!!

Effortless Occasions made our wedding day better than we could have ever expected. Not only was Amber amazing to work with on a personal level, but she made planning our wedding across an ocean (we live in London and got married in Rochester, NY) incredibly easy and stress-free. She was always flexible with our plans and schedule (time differences!) and made herself available to talk with us and answer any questions or concerns. Her knowledge of local vendors is unparalleled and she builds great relationships with all of them. She knew exactly who was a fit for our needs and our budget and the day flowed magically because of the relationships she had with each of our vendors. Her experience made us feel comfortable that Amber could handle anything we, or the day, threw at her. We would recommend Effortless Occasions to everyone, and we've already started - you get amazing value for your money. Most of all, though, you are able to truly enjoy the day you've spent so long planning and know that everyone else will enjoy it too!

You walk into your event and the atmosphere is just captivating because of the design created by MUSE. The marriage between "Elegance & Excellence" is the best way to describe what MUSE design created for our Church Organization Anniversary Event! If you're looking for your ideas/imagination to come to form, then MUSE is what you need. We will definitely use MUSE for all of our future events.

I cannot stress enough how much everyone needs Angela on their wedding day!!!! My husband and I keep talking about how if we didn’t have her the day would have just been so stressful! Angela was our day of coordinator and truly took care of any and every need myself, my husband, the bridal party, and any vendor had. She was extremely organized and efficient. She took the stress out of the wedding day and my husband and I were truly able to just enjoy the day. She was so quick to take care of any hiccup that arose without anyone even noticing. She is so friendly and Cares so much about You and your day. You can feel her genuine kindness and warmth from across the room. We cannot stress enough how much we recommend Angela for your special day!
