My experience with Events With Selina for our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner was exceptional. From the moment I first connected with Selina via a video call, I was able to relax. With over 1500 miles between our home in Texas and the rehearsal dinner in New York, I relied exclusively on Selina to bring to life a beautiful and intimate event in a rustic pavilion at Watkins Glen State Park. The planning process was seamless and the communication fantastic. Selena understood my vision for the night. I knew the couple was minimal in their planning, but I had not realized that they had no coordinator for the day of the wedding. They were not going to be able to rehearse at the location itself, so I had asked Selena to also help conduct the rehearsal at the dinner site.

I arrived on the rehearsal night to find that Selena had transformed an old stone building into a magical dining room full of flowers and candlelight, long tables with white tablecloths, and a elegant set-up for dinner and s'mores around the grand fireplace. (So beautiful that park guests walking by the pavilion kept stopping to take pictures!) The night itself ran perfectly, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy every moment with our guests. Selena took charge and orchestrated every detail of their ceremony - from the procession, many tips for the bridal party, adding to the chaplain’s notes, and even teaching the groom how to do a photo worthy spin and dip! I was incredibly impressed with not only how smoothly everything went that night, but how I could see Selena’s touch throughout the next day in the ceremony. We can’t thank Selena enough for her guidance, dedication, and expertise. My only regret is that we did not find her sooner and use her services for the wedding day as well. Thank you, Selena!

I would highly recommend Selina and her team to help with your day. She is very organized and did such a great job with everything. I cannot imagine our day without her!
They were able to fix a decor issue (running back to her house for hurricane vases that got forgotten by me) and print names day of when she realized I hadn’t done them and felt the caterers would need them. We did her middle package that included help with set up and clean up. She had two helpers with her to make sure the day went smoothly. Everything went so much faster and was more organized. I would also recommend taking advantage of her decor rentals, because it is that much less stuff that you will have to order pack up bring with you, clean up and then take care of it after your wedding!
Treat yourself to some peace of mind!

If you would like your special day to be super stressful and unorganized, then DO NOT hire Selina and her team because that is the opposite of what you will get with these fabulous fabulous people.
Weddings can be so stressful and overwhelming, especially when you have to hire and rehire a photographer 2 weeks before the big day!!
Because of the Events with Selina team, my husband and I never had to worry or stress too much about anything, because we had them.
Selina will make sure you aren't doing more than you should be doing.
Her main priority is YOU. I know she had other couples she was working with, but you'd never know it.

We were told before we hired her and her team that wedding coordinators are well worth the money in general. We'll let me tell you that in hindsight, we would have paid triple for Events with Selina. We had multiple oversights on our end for decor and set up, and they took what would have been an absolute meltdown to the absolute perfect set up. Worked their little tail ends off!!!!

Selina, and team, we cannot thank you enough for everything you did. I don't think we will EVER stop recommending Events with Selina.

I would recommend Selina to anyone looking for a wedding planner or day of coordinator. My wedding day ran perfectly on time, even a little ahead of schedule and it was largely because of her expertise and organization. Selina is super helpful and kind, and knows how to control a large crowd. When it came to decor and day of coordination she thought of everything I forgot or would never think of. She was consistently checking in with me and my husband to see if we needed anything and never let us go without a fresh drink in our hands the entire night. She also checked in with our other vendors frequently. Hiring her and her team was absolutely worth the money!

We can honestly say, booking Selina and her team to be a part of our day was the best decision we ever made when planning our wedding. From the very beginning, Selina’s primary goal was to take things off of our plate to allow us to get excited and feel at ease. We had a tight turnaround to begin with - We reached out to her out-of-state with only two months to go till our big day and the first thing she said was you can let the stress go and just relax and enjoy, we got this! Selina operates Events with Selina (EWS) alongside her lifetime best friend which gives her business such a special and genuine touch. EWS has a number of customizable options to best fit your needs. After one consultation, we were able to finalize what support we needed. We rented all of our decor from her, she had so many options that were super reasonably priced and cute (I’m a bit of a maximalist so this was huge for me!). Selina 100% followed our lead design-wise - I truly felt like she saw our vision and dialed into it. I also appreciated that she even brought some ideas for our consideration - She has such a great eye! Selina and her team looked out for us every step of the way, always coming to our meetings with questions to make sure our vision was being realized exactly as we had dreamed. If we noticed we had a gap, Selina was quick to take on the legwork and offer options to resolve. I truly felt that she was excited with us - I will never forget the first time we got to meet in person, she excitedly proclaimed “We’re getting married!!!!!!” and it just absolutely brightened our day and set the tone! Her creative eye and wonderful energy was a joy to have around during our event set up. During the set-up, there were a few points where we had to pivot and Selina took that on behind the scenes, getting us extra signage, baskets, etc. She handled all the last minute items so that we could enjoy our rehearsal dinner care-free. As important and instrumental that all of the pre-wedding support was, having Selina and the EWS team on our wedding day was invaluable. They started the day off with each of us, bringing us breakfast and checking in. Our day had forecasted rain so she implemented our “rain-day plan” (not our plan-b as she clarified) the morning of our wedding - we didn’t even have to think about it, it was done and done beautifully! As the bride, the EWS team was like a built-in girl squad: they never left my side and made sure that our drinks were always full, that we ate (Thank you!!), gently ensured we kept on our schedule, and even were ready to get me in my flats when the heels ran their course lol. At the end of the night, as part of our package, EWS fully broke down at the venue which was a huge weight lifted that we didn’t have to worry about. They safely packaged the few decorations we provided, including bubble wrapping my parents' glass-blown wedding favors that we displayed at the reception, and they packed them into our designated car. After the wedding, Selina took the time to circle back, check in, and send over a few detailed shots of our reception decor - something that I was so far too busy to remember to do! I will never forget the love that Selina brought to our day. She always put us first, led with excitement, and brought her make-it-happen energy to every step of the process. We are forever grateful for Selina and the EWS team and would highly recommend their expertise to anyone preparing for their big day.
