We hired Joelle to help with coordination and planning for the month before and day of our wedding on 9/2/2023 - and it was one of the best decisions we made. She is not only organized and hard working, but friendly and creative. Because of her we weren’t stressed for even a minute on our wedding day, as we knew every little detail was going to be executed perfectly. We had several phone meetings and email exchanges the month before that helped keep us on track and remind us of what remained when our heads started spinning. From our first meeting with Joelle, we felt extremely confident with her knowledge and ability to assist us with our planning. She was extremely responsive and always with an answer to our questions. Leading up to our day, she helped us organize a well thought out plan which included the ceremony at our house. Our meetings with her were beneficial and she brought up decisions/ideas that we had not thought of. The day was seamless and we owe that to her. We would and will recommend her again and again.

Having Joelle as our month-of/day-of coordinator was a GREAT move - if you're on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinator, DO IT, and if you can, work with Joelle! Apart from being a very fairly-priced business, she was organized, timely, contacted all my other vendors for me as needed, had a timeline very quickly, attended the rehearsal to make sure we all know what we were doing - and the wedding day itself went off without a hitch! If there were any problems, I had no idea, because Joelle was on top of everything. If I could re-plan the wedding, I'd work with Joelle again for sure :)

We made the decision to use Starlit Events for day of coordination on our wedding day, as we chose to make most of the initial decisions independently. Joelle could not have been more organized and helpful from the start. Through initial conversations, she established a vision for how we wanted our day to look and flow, and provided us with things to consider and goals/timelines to complete things as we moved forward. Joelle made it known that she was available for guidance throughout, and to answer any questions we had. A couple of months before the wedding weekend, we met with Joelle, and left the meeting completely at ease and immediately more organized. She created a very thorough and organized day-of wedding timeline, as well as a checklist for us to complete, reached out to and communicated with vendors to facilitate coordination, and checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable with our plans and up to date on our timeline. On the day of our wedding, Joelle could not have been more helpful, completely taking care of everything behind the scenes so that we were able to relax. My husband and I essentially did a "do-it-yourself" wedding with a final guest list of 250 people, and it was so nice to be able to fully relax on our actual wedding day, as we had full confidence in Joelle. Thank you!!

Hiring Joelle as our wedding planner was the best decision that we made for our wedding. Being across the country during the pandemic, we relied heavily on Joelle to be our point person in Rochester. We are very indecisive, so having her make recommendations for vendors, decorations, etc. that fit into our budget was super helpful. If we were stuck on anything, she was always willing to hop on a phone call, saving us a lot of agony. We were also not particularly savvy when it came to wedding planning, and having her wide breadth of knowledge when it comes to the industry was extremely valuable. Coming up to the wedding day, we saw that the forecast might not cooperate and she listened to what we wanted and coordinated with the venue to come up with backup plans. On the day of the wedding, my husband and I were overwhelmed with everything that was going on around us and weren’t really on top of what was going on. Joelle regularly checked in with us, made sure we were doing well, and single-handedly kept the night going. She set everything up, ran things during the night, and packed everything up at the end of the night for us to take. She even helped me put my veil on! Thanks to her, we, our families, and our wedding party were really able to enjoy the night without having to worry about a thing.

Plain and simple, Joelle enabled our wedding day to be absolutely perfect. She set up multiple meetings leading up to our wedding week to ensure everything was taken care of. She also coordinated with all of our vendors extremely well, it was as close to "set it and forget it" as you could want. Her attention to detail was also incredible; she executed our vision for our ceremony & reception flawlessly. The day of the wedding, she was on hand to take care of everything we asked for. There were multiple instances where I walked over to ask for something and Joelle's response was "already taken care of!", which was comforting and shows how she is one step ahead of the game at all times. Overall I would highly recommend her services to anyone -- I would even go so far as to say Joelle was the main reason everything went as well as it did for us!

I had a very distinct vision for what I wanted our 9/18/2021 wedding to be. That included my vendors—I wanted people I felt I could really collaborate with and create a team environment. Joelle went above and beyond in that regard. Not only did she double as my therapist (ha) in easing my anxieties from planning a long-distance wedding, but all of my other vendors on *multiple occasions* told me she was the most buttoned-up planner they'd ever worked with!! Her value to our wedding day was immeasurable in her constant willingness to hop on a Zoom or call. And don't even get me started on the day of—she was always by our side, asking if we needed anything, offering to grab us a drink, she even had a little mini charcuterie plate waiting at our sweetheart table when we finally sat down from the madness! We had also had a few Ukrainian traditions that required extra planning with the caterer and Joelle ensured everything went off without a hitch. I seriously cannot thank her enough for helping me bring to life the wedding of my dreams!

Starlit Events was the best decision we made when planning our wedding!!! Joelle is incredible to work with and truly made our wedding dreams come true. She was so accommodating and on top of things during the planning stages; we never felt like we had to worry about anything. She took so much pressure off of my husband and I with coordinating between vendors which made the weeks and days leading up to the wedding so much more enjoyable! The day of the wedding she was there the entire day making sure everything was more perfect than we ever could have imagined! I was literally speechless when I walked in the venue. She took such good care of us and we are SO appreciative of all her hard work. Thank you so much Joelle and Starlit Events...wish we could do it all over again!!!!:)

Starlit Events is absolutely incredible. My wife and I got married a little over a month ago and everything was perfect. Joelle has connections with people throughout the industry, is very thorough and detailed, and helped make our day unique and special. I absolutely loved working with Joelle! We hired Joelle as our day-of wedding coordinator, and her help and input leading up to the big day was invaluable! We didn't have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding--Joelle took care of everything! She coordinated with all of our vendors, decorated the venue and ceremony location, kept everyone on schedule with the timeline she helped us create, and she cleaned up after!
