In short, Melissa is PHENOMENAL, and you absolutely need her for your wedding day! From the day we had our first phone call I knew Melissa would have our backs. We had most of our vendors picked out so we hired Melissa as a day of coordinator and WOW did she make our dreams come true. Not only did she help with suggestions for our wedding day, she became the point person for our vendors in the weeks approaching our wedding which was a huge relief. On the day of the wedding Melissa was every where at once. She supported us (the couple), our families, venue staff and the vendors with a smile on her face and a positive attitude. Melissa was always just popping up without being asked, we never even thought about going to the bar for drinks because Melissa was always there! We could go on and on about Melissa but we were so happy she was there to support us on our wedding day and we know our day was amazing and so special because of her. We love Simple Celebrations, it is the place to go for wedding services!!

Melissa was absolutely incredible, and essential in our wedding planning. I am neurodivergent and EXTREMELY particular about absolutely everything. I was constantly worried about being "behind schedule" but Melissa reassured me every step of the way that I was doing great and wasn't behind.
She had so many ideas and suggestions for decor, etc. It was incredible to be able to rent right from her and know exactly what we would be getting. She also did not get offended if I said I didn't want something, and made sure to find exactly what I was looking for.
I have an extremely hard time making decisions, therefore waited way too long to choose several vendors, and was having a hard time because everyone was booked. Melissa found me a hair stylist, MUA, and florist. She set up everything and once I confirmed, it was all taken care of.
I had the partial planning package, and Melissa took care of all finalization with vendors, establishing a timeline and confirming all details.
I had my venue the day before the event, so melissa was there for several hours starting to set up and walk us through the rehearsal, which went seamlessly.
She did the tables, the seating chart, and decorated my cake with flowers after it was dropped off, which came out gorgeous!
The day of the wedding, we had some issues with the photographer. Melissa was extremely helpful in keeping me calm with this, and made sure that we were able to get all of the photos we needed.
I also did not think about how exhausting the wedding would be with my neurodivergencies, and when I went into a meltdown after the ceremony, melissa made sure to bring me and my husband cocktail hour snacks&drinks plus water. She sent away the photographers because I was refusing to sit for anymore pictures, which allowed me to calm down and regulate myself before introductions.
She coordinated one more iconic photoshoot later at sunset(after I was fully recovered and agreed to wanting more pictures), and truly gave us the most perfect wedding we could ask for. She was extremely supportive the entire way, and truly just SO COOL.
We are a bit eclectic, and felt so welcomed just perfectly understood.
We had the best day, and I truly can't thank Melissa and Simple Celebrations enough for everything!

Melissa truly made my wedding dream come true! There’s no way we could have pulled it off without her and her amazing team. Not only does she have the most beautiful rentals, but she also officiated our ceremony, connected me with stunning flowers from Morgan Flower Farm, and somehow made everything feel completely magical.

She kept everything running smoothly so I could actually relax and enjoy the day — and honestly, she’s just such a wonderful, down-to-earth person to be around. Our handfasting ceremony was absolutely incredible, and she guided us through it with so much care and ease.

I can’t recommend Melissa enough for literally anything wedding-related. I trusted her with my vision, and she made it even better than I imagined! My husband and I couldn’t be happier with her work.

It was so easy to work with Melissa at Simple Celebrations for rentals. On the day of pick up, I realized I had ordered an incorrect mirror rental for what I needed. Without hesitation, Melissa was able to swap out my mistake and was willing to even drop off to my venue if I needed something else. Her kindness and patience makes her a very easy vendor to hire.

Melissa and Brandi were AMAZING. Their communication, follow-up and innovative ideas went well beyond my expectations but what they offered in peace of mind was so much more valuable. I didn't have to worry about anything when it came to my wedding day and was free to just enjoy my day. That is invaluable. Thank you both from the bottom of our hearts.

Melissa is one of the best in the game! She is not only the sweetest human being that you will ever meet but is on top of everything for you. She was a god sent during my entire planning process. We hired her for month of coordination, but she was still there for us throughout the entire planning process when we had a question, needed guidance, or simply someone to vent to. My husband and I could not have done it without her and are incredibly grateful to have gotten to know and love such an amazing person.

Melissa is such a sweet soul and from the moment we had our first meeting I knew how much she cared about making our day special. She was prepared and ready with anything on wedding day. We ran into some rain during our ceremony and she had the cutest umbrellas for our wedding party. She even went as far as to hide and hold the umbrella for my now husband and I so that we could read our vows and exchange rings without passing the umbrella back and forth, the dedication is real!

We also used her benches which were beautiful, perfect for an outdoor wedding. Also her rentals for our tables (plates, table ware, and glasses) helped make our back yard wedding even more classy.

As a bride, there is so much going on and she was always there to check in and see if I needed anything. She even had a pair of flats waiting for me at our sweetheart table after our dances were finished (so darn sweet). So incredibly thankful!!!

MELISSA IS THE REASON WE HAD A WEDDING, PERIOD. Let alone a wedding this beautiful!! I contacted Melissa in MARCH asking to plan a wedding for JUNE. Yup, she planned this perfect wedding in only 3 months. I have a lot of anxiety in a lot of ways, but especially socially. Melissa never ever made me feel uncomfortable, stressed, pressured, or anything like that. She answered all of our questions with so much patience and kindness (including the ones I asked a million times) and ALWAYS reassured me when I had any worries (which I constantly do lol)
Everything Melissa did on my wedding day looked even better than the inspiration photos. There were so many unexpected surprises, special touches, and just so many ways Melissa went above and beyond for us. I honestly feel like I robbed her when I think about what we paid vs what she delivered. There is absolutely NO WAY I could have handled the stress of planning a wedding without her!! I will never be able to put into words how grateful I am that we crossed paths! Me and my whole family love Melissa - FOR LIFE!

Simple Celebrations was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We reached out to Melissa about day-of coordination, and from beginning to end she was so warm, understanding, and excited about our ideas and visions. We felt so cared for! We sent her tons of questions in the months leading up to our wedding, and she always responded with great ideas and advice and was willing to go to bat for us if any issues came up.

We also hired Melissa to do our decor (with all our rentals from her as well), and um, wow. I almost cried walking into our reception space for the first time because the tables were so beautiful. Everything surpassed my vision for how I wanted the day to look. Numerous guests and friends told us that ours was the most beautiful wedding they'd ever been to. Melissa truly made magic happen and we are so grateful.

On the day of the wedding, Melissa was just amazing. In addition to putting all the decor together and bringing all the rentals, she took care of us, kept things moving smoothly, and did setup and takedown herself flawlessly. We had to move our ceremony indoors last minute due to rain, but she was on top of it and directed a smooth transition. Her focus was always on making our wedding day as special and "us" as possible. Melissa was like our coordinator, guardian angel, and fan club all in one. We are very grateful that we had her alongside us!
