Country Club Wedding Venues in Mamaroneck

My new husband and I just had our wedding reception at Orienta on Saturday. We still cannot stop smiling! The day was more perfect than we could have hoped for. Orienta is a gorgeous venue. Our cocktail hour was on the back patio, and guests looked out on a beautiful view of the Sound. We took photos out by the water and on the dock. We got lucky with the weather, but I can honestly say that this venue would be spectacular even in a hurricane. The reception indoors was so romantic, with dim lighting and candles flickering against the stone and dark wood. The dance floor was a perfect size to keep all our guests dancing all night (and we had almost 200!) Mark Sheehan, the wedding coordinator, did an incredible job setting up our photo displays and any other props that we gave him ahead of time. He got the ambiance just right! The service was incredible. There were so many waiters and bartenders, all so quick to ask guests if they needed anything. The food really exceeded my expectations. Guests commented that they had never seen so much food at a cocktail hour, between the passed appetizers, paella, and carving stations. The main course was delicious! I had the red snapper with avocado, corn relish, and hominy cake and my husband had the filet mignon. Mark made sure we got to sit down and eat! We brought in our own cookies for desert and Orienta supplied chocolate profiteroles that paired well. Guests danced all night. I really can't thank Mark enough for making our wedding day so special. I did not have to worry about a thing, and my new husband and I just enjoyed ourselves. Mark went out of his way throughout the planning process to give us gentle advice, make sure we felt comfortable with all the choices we made, and to keep us at ease. He even picked up place cards and favors from my house the day before the wedding, because he was in the area and offered to make life easier for us! This place is an absolute hidden gem. Most professional, outstanding venue. Had my wedding here last night and it was spectacular. Bob and his staff are so nice and so professional, everything went over 100% perfectly. Food is amazing and they truly go above and beyond to make sure you’re happy. Cannot say enough good things Best night of my life thanks to all of these people!

Amazing is what Dorothy, her Team and Hampshire are to me and my husband!! Not only did Dorothy help us achieve our dream wedding- she helped make the night unforgettable for our family and friends as well- they all loved the wedding, location, food and said it was such a wonderful experience, which made us so happy!! Dorothy went way beyond what we could have expected by helping us with every step of the process- from recommending vendors which we ended up using, to guiding us thru the menu tasting- she did it in a way that made us feel comfortable and like we were working with a wedding master. Dorothy answered our emails and calls day and night- in as much as we hated bothering her late ( especially for things like adding flowers to the ceremony or adding a few guests a few days before the wedding), she was always quick to answer, so kind and so helpful. Unlike other venues we looked at, we were never pushed to add anything to our wedding that we didn’t need or want. From the beautiful grounds at Hampshire to the unbelievable kindness, hard work and creativity of Dorothy and her team- my husband and I can only say thank you for making our dreams come true!! The view is amazing, the grounds are beautiful, the food is delicious, the staff is fantastic and honestly they looked like they enjoyed making our wedding a day we will never forget, which was really awesome!!! We are giving our recommendation to anyone who is thinking of getting married or hosting an event- Hampshire is the best and smartest choice we made in planning our wedding! Thank you again!!
