Delamar Greenwich Harbor also has an experienced events and production team that will help you coordinate every aspect of your wedding down to the very last detail. You’ll also have some wonderful catering options thanks to Executive Chef Frederic Kieffer and the kitchen at l’escale. With so many wonderful features, Delamar Greenwich Harbor is a truly fantastic wedding venue for you.

Facilities and Capacity

Delamar Greenwich Harbor, a stylishly modern wedding event venue, offers an attractive ballroom and a magnificent waterfront setting for your wedding event. The terrace on the waterfront spans the entire length of the ballroom, with citrus and herb trees outside that recreate the air of southern France. The 500 feet of private dock space brings together a stunning backdrop that is perfect for wedding photographs, wedding ceremonies and receptions, and fabulous departures by boat. The venue’s maximum capacity is 300 guests.

Truly a 5 Star Review for L'escale at the Delamar Greenwich Harbor!

Our November Wedding was perfect from start to finish. Ashlie Sakitis, and her team, went above and beyond to ensure the day was a success.  Our guests are still raving about the reception. Polite, professional, kind, and courteous are just a few of the many positive things to say about Ashlie and the entire staff. Highly recommend this venue for any event, but our wedding was nothing short of incredible!  Looking forward to hosting there again.

Wedding: 11/01/2025

As a restaurant and hotel, the Delamar provided delicious food and drinks along with superior customer service for my wife and I along with our guests.

Michael and Christina Merturi worked closely with us and our planners/vendors throughout the planning process, which provided assurance to my wife and I that everything would be good to go on our wedding night. They were attentive and flexible throughout the process, working with us to ensure every detail was as we wanted. Staff are fantastic -- friendly and consistently checking in and making sure everyone is taken care of.

Flawless from Start to Finish

Michael, Christina, and the team at L’Escale are incredible. From the moment we met Michael, my husband and I knew we didn’t need to see any other venue.

Throughout the planning process, and right up until we sat down for dinner on our wedding day, they went above and beyond, coordinating with vendors, setting up decor, and even FaceTiming a sick family member during the ceremony who couldn’t be there in person.

Their thoughtfulness, combined with the elegant waterfront setting and exceptional food and drinks that our guests are still raving about, made the day truly unforgettable.

From the moment we first toured the Delamar Greenwich Harbor, we knew it was something special — but the experience of celebrating our daughter’s wedding there was beyond anything we could have imagined. Every detail, every interaction, and every smile from the staff made the day absolutely magical.

Michael Merturi, the Director of Catering, was nothing short of extraordinary. His professionalism, warmth, and impeccable attention to detail transformed our vision into reality. Michael guided us through every step with grace, creativity, and genuine care — ensuring that our daughter’s big day was not just beautiful, but truly perfect. His calm, confident leadership made planning effortless and joyful.

Christina Merturi, the Catering Sales Manager, was equally phenomenal — so responsive, kind, and dedicated. She helped us navigate countless details seamlessly, always with a reassuring smile and expert advice.
We were also deeply impressed by the entire banquet team, especially Akbar (Banquet Manager), Angel, and April, whose professionalism and warmth made us and our guests feel like royalty. Every course was served flawlessly, every request was anticipated, and every guest was made to feel special.

The Delamar itself is a dream wedding setting — elegant, romantic, and timeless, with the beauty of the harbor as the perfect backdrop. The atmosphere was magical, the food was spectacular, and the service was truly world-class.

Getting married at the Delamar Greenwich Harbor was the best decision we could have made! I can't recommend it enough - it's a must book for your wedding!

The gorgeous venue speaks for itself, but I truly cannot sing the praises of Michael and the entire L'escale / Delamar team enough. What I assume is normally a stressful process, was so easy and calm with Michael. He was the most incredible planner and I couldn't imagine having to plan a wedding without him! Him and his team not only went above and beyond on our wedding day, but throughout the entire planning process. They were so patient, kind, knowledgeable, timely, helpful - the list goes on. They made my husband and I's wedding day absolutely perfect from start to finish. They executed every single vision we had and it was everything we could have wanted and more. It was a dream and the most magical day of our lives! It's been a few months and my husband and I, and are our guests, are all still all talking about the phenomenal service at our wedding. We got multiple texts and calls from guests afterwards saying how blown away they were by the service. From our planner Michael, to the wait staff, bartenders, the hotel receptionists - every team member was outstanding.

Also, it wouldn't be right to not mention the FOOD! The food at L'escale was a big reason we initially chose the venue, and lived up to the hype (and then some)! Our guests all commented how it was by far the best wedding food they'd ever had. Every single bite was incredible and presented so beautifully. We're still dreaming about the food!

Our wedding was incredible - the most beautiful and memorable day thanks to the amazing Delamar venue and l'escale Team! Cannot thank Michael and Christina enough for their attention to detail, flexibility, and overall thoughtfulness during our planning process and throughout the weekend in making sure this day was perfect for us and our guests. Michael checked in on us during the evening making sure we were ok, and if we needed anything at all. As the venue is extremely elegant itself, the service is only better. The entire staff was so attentive, and the food was top tier. We could not recommend this venue and team more.

A Dream Wedding Thanks to Christina & Her Amazing Team

We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Christina and her staff Akbar — they were nothing short of phenomenal in helping bring our dream wedding to life at the Delamar Greenwich. From the very beginning of the planning process all the way through to the last moment of our big day, Christina was organized, attentive, creative, and genuinely invested in making everything perfect. And perfect it was!
One of the many moments that stood out was just two days before the wedding — Christina noticed a dish being served at the venue that was what I described but didn't pick, immediately thought of me, and reached out to suggest a last-minute switch. She just knew I’d love it — and she was right. That level of personal attention and intuition speaks volumes about how much she cares. It’s those thoughtful touches that made working with her so special.
Throughout the entire process, Christina’s communication was prompt and reassuring. She thought of every detail before we even had a chance to worry, and on the day itself, everything ran flawlessly. Her team was kind, professional, and incredibly helpful to both us and our guests. Because of them, we were able to truly relax, be present, and enjoy every moment of the best day of our lives.
We are endlessly thankful to Christina, Akbar, and their amazing staff for creating such a beautiful, seamless experience — one we’ll treasure forever. If you’re considering working with her: do it. You’ll be in the best hands possible

Top tier venue and staff at The Delamar.

Top tier venue and staff! The Delamar team provided exceptional service at a five-star venue. Michael, Ashlie, Akbar and Angel, the catering and events team we found to be incredibly responsive, detail oriented, and most of all competent, from planning to execution. We especially loved the tasting menu selection process and experience. Our budget and planning needs were met and the team went above and beyond to do so, including providing recommendations for gratuity for broader team to help us with planning. Highly recommend The Delamar / L'escale in terms of value per dollar.

Dream waterfront wedding!

From the first meeting with Michael Merturi, I knew we would be in great hands! Michael, along with his sister Christina and the rest of the staff at L’escale, are the dream team! They are experts at what they do and were an additional layer of vital support throughout my planning process. They also made me feel really special and made it fun! They knew how to take what I was looking for and incorporate it into their venue perfectly.

The food was five stars and I had multiple guests share the steak was the best they ever had! People were certainly blown away by the quality and level of food, which is not typical at most event venues.

On the day of, I was able to relax and enjoy knowing that I had a caring and professional team.

The venue was also the perfect mix of waterfront venue, with an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, with a glamorous, unique ballroom that also felt intimate for my 110 guests. Everyone was blown away by the beautiful setting.

Having the hotel rooms at the Delamar upstairs worked perfectly for us to stay over and do the ‘getting ready’ shots. The newly renovated hotel rooms are elegant and chic, and provided the perfect backdrop for photos.

We also hosted out of town guests for breakfast at L’escale the next morning, which was seamless and delicious as well.

All in all, it was the perfect wedding venue and the team felt like an extension of family and friends by the end. I look forward to returning to L’escale for many years for anniversary dinners!
