Wedding DJs in Albany

Greg was the DJ at my sister's wedding. His music selections for the evening were perfect, and my sister highly recommended him for his flexibility on requests, and his general demeanor. We immediately reach out to Greg for our own wedding. We were able to communicate with him up to the day before the wedding with song request/changes, and he was super amenable to incorporate them with no grief. I also asked Greg to coordinate with a different vendor to synchronize music both indoor and outdoors for a fireworks display, and he gladly spoke to the vendor on my behalf and got his system integrated with theirs for a seamless musical experience. Greg's information collecting process is super detailed, and we at no point felt that we needed to worry or stress about if the correct song would be played at the exact correct moment. I cannot recommend Greg Frasier enough.

We booked Direct Entertainment for our DJ needs for our wedding reception. My #1 ask was for someone who had experience doing Chinese/Vietnamese weddings because they are a little different than your traditional American wedding. The great thing about this company is that they will match you up with someone that fits the needs the best for what you want for the wedding. We were assigned with Deshawn and he was SO amazing. He worked so cohesively with our MC and there was zero hiccups during the wedding itself. The crowd loved the music and the energy he brought. Communication was always clear and I never felt confused/lost at all during the wedding planning process with them. He felt as excited to be there as we were and we really appreciated that. When we got engaged, the first vendor we booked was Wyatt with Empire State Events as our DJ. Wyatt DJ’d at our brother and sister in law’s wedding and was phenomenal so the choice was an easy one for us. Wyatt took multiple calls with us to ensure we were all on the same page regarding ceremony music, cocktail hour vibes, dinner music vibes and reception vibes. He listened to all our thoughts and was 100% on the same page with us. Not only that, he was able to pull off the ultimate surprise for me when my bridesmaids and mom approached my now husband about doing a surprise performance to Super Trooper during our reception. My husband reached out to him separately to ask if he could add it to the song list but please not to let me know and somehow, they pulled it off. Wyatt kept the energy levels up, our guests engaged and us enjoying the happiest day of our lives. He was a true pleasure to work with and honestly I wish everyone we know would book him as their DJ from now on just so we can hang out with him! Everything about the pre-wedding prep to the actual playlist was exactly what we wanted (including some very unique song choices). 10/10 service!

We hired Upstate Sounds after talking with a few different DJs and we were happy with our choice. The price was reasonable and Jay was great to work with from start to finish. The online login helped us fill in song ideas and we loved being able to build a playlist and request songs so easily. Jay met with us beforehand to discuss details and worked to make sure everyone had a great time at our wedding! Thank you for everything!

I had the privilege of working with DJ Kenny at our wedding venue for a wedding recently. He did a wonderful job of incorporating and melding together two cultures. The dance floor was packed all night.

Easy to work with, very flexible to whatever changes we threw at them. Professional and helped give us an excellent night!

Wedding reception went well. Bob did a great job keeping the flow of reception going and got people up dancing. He arrived to set up in plenty of time according to my banquet manager. Listened to us with our pre-wedding meeting. His price was really good compared to other DJ's in the area. Great sound system.
