Tim was amazing. He was awesome to work with, flexible, communicative and made everything incredibly easy. As for the music... My god!! He was spectacular. Kept the vibe exactly how we asked and had people dancing for hourssssss on end. I cannot recommend him enough. Definitely my first choice if I ever need a DJ moving forward

DJ Chizzzik, a.k.a. Tim is not just a great "wedding DJ," but a great DJ, period.

We hired DJ Chizzzik for our wedding at the Canfield Casino in October 2025. We had around 60 guests, most of whom were in their mid-20s to early-30s, along with a few people around our parents age (Gen X/young boomer). The most important thing to us was that our guests would all have fun at our wedding.

Our love of music is what brought my husband and I together when we first met. It was so awesome that we could partner with someone like DJ Chizzzik, whose love for music comes across instantly. When you just watch videos of him on his IG or on Youtube, he can effortlessly mix together different genres, eras, and beats. He understands the power of music from both a technical and emotional standpoint.

Your DJ choice is really important, not just for the feeling on the dancefloor, but also to help guests understand where to be, what to do next, and where to look in a huge room. DJ Chizzzik sent us a thoughtful questionnaire that made it easy for us to think through all the choices we had to make, and made the announcements we needed, without any of the cringe-y stuff a “traditional wedding DJ” tends to lean on.

In the questionnaire, we also had a chance to fill in some of our favorite music (we shared a playlist of some of our favorite songs), choose the mood we wanted to set for different parts of the evening (cocktail hour, pre-ceremony, songs for specific moments, etc), and add in a “do not play” list. When we chatted live before the wedding, DJ Chizzzik reassured us that we would not feel like we were at a high school dance, which is exactly the vibe I think most couples want to avoid.

On the wedding day, everything felt easy and most importantly, fun. Our ceremony music was perfectly cued. During the reception, people were having fun on our dance floor was from the time it opened to the very last song. DJ Chizzzik did an impressive job of building out the entire night from our initial list of songs, creating different "moods" throughout the night, weaving together everything from reggaeton to disco to Playboi Carti.

It was so special to feel all of these parts of our life coming together, and to be surrounded by our closest friends and family. Weeks later, our friends and family are still telling us just how great the music was and how much fun they had.

One word of caution: If you book DJ Chizzzik, bring a pair of shoes you can dance in. Lots of our guests switched out of their dress shoes later on so they could keep partying all night long :)

I might be a little biased because it was our wedding, but I genuinely think DJ ChizZzik (Tim) was the best DJ I’ve ever heard at a wedding! He’s not your typical wedding DJ who sticks to predictable crowd-pleasers or feels cookie-cutter. Instead, Tim brought serious skill, creativity, and artistry to his sets. There were multiple moments throughout the night where I caught myself thinking, wow, this guy is incredible, and several guests came up to us both during and after the wedding to say the same.

He made sure to include all the songs that were meaningful to us and had an amazing sense of timing. For example, we originally wanted to kick off dancing with “Not Like Us” by Kendrick Lamar, but Tim suggested it might be a little intense to start the night with. We trusted his judgment—and he was absolutely right. When he finally dropped that track later in the night, it was the perfect moment and the energy on the dance floor was unreal.

Tim’s timing for all the formal moments was spot-on, and he was professional, responsive, and super easy to work with throughout the entire process. He also helped facilitate a lot of little details we had planned and was always ready to lend a hand. On top of all that, his pricing is incredibly reasonable for the quality of work he delivers. I would 1000% recommend DJ ChizZzik to anyone looking for an amazing wedding DJ—we couldn’t be happier that we chose him!

Tim was really on top of the timeline of what needed to get done and when in the months before the wedding. This saved us from having to remember these details! His pricing is extremely reasonable, and he even allowed us to change the amount of hours we booked for after booking, showing great flexibility. He did a great job with the ceremony and all other aspects of the wedding, and had everyone dancing and talking about "how good the DJ was" when the reception dancing officially started!

DJ Chizzik was phenomenal for our wedding! He was great and well organized throughout the planning process and took the time to get to us as a couple and what we wanted for our wedding. He was wonderful throughout the night and helped keep the energy and dance floor full! We cannot recommend him enough!

Tim was very professional and communicative. We met with him in person when we first booked him and then online when we were closer to our wedding day. We completed a questionnaire with everything we wanted on our special day. If Tim had questions, he would reach out and ask. Day of, he arrived early and set up speakers in 3 rooms. He made sure we were happy with the flow of the wedding and kept checking in with us. He even let me take the microphone and sing my favorite song! If you are looking for a dj that listens to your wants, DJ Chizzzik is your man!

Did an amazing job, exactly why we hired him!!! He was very professional, organized and knowledgeable. He made our special memorable and cant recommend Tim enough!!! He played exactly the music we asked and had our wedding popping !!!!!

DJ ChIzZzik had the dance floor full at our wedding!!! Our guests even chanted his name at the end of the night! He played a ton of music from the playlist we made but also chose a bunch of songs himself, all of which went over great! He read the room and kept the good vibes going all night. He also honored our request to start the night with music that all generations could enjoy and then transition to more modern stuff/2000s and 2010s throwbacks for the younger crowd. He did the sound for our ceremony as well! DJ ChizZzik was all around a pleasure to work with, very nice and responsive during the planning process and great on our big day. SO many of our guests raved about him. We're so happy we hired him and highly recommend him!

Tim is incredibly easy to work with, kind, adaptable and excellent at his craft. On the music side, he easily understood the vibe we wanted and nailed it incorporating songs we wanted and making his own on top of it with flowing transitions. Our wedding party was dancing with high energy for hours.

Tim also worked with us with different playlists for cocktail hour and dinner, and was mobile with his speakers to be in multiple places for the ceremony, dinner and dance party. He did this all with a calm presence and flexibility which made our night easy. We couldn’t recommend Tim more!
