Tru was fantastic. He was incredibly flexible about meeting before the wedding, and his pre-wedding checklist helped me organize the whole evening, bringing up things I hadn't even considered. He created an amazing experience from about 10 song prompts. He was easy to reach and very prompt in his responses, and an excellent MC. He kept everything moving throughout the night, read the room to keep people up and dancing, and just overall helped to make our wedding exactly what we wanted it to be. I can't recommend him highly enough; if he has your date available, book him now. 12/10, all the stars.

Tru is absolutely amazing!! We couldn't recommend him enough! He made our wedding day music dreams come true and did so with such a positive, passionate attitude! From the start of our journey working together he made every transition smooth and seamless. In all the chaos of wedding planning, he made his part in having him as our DJ so easy. Our family can't stop talking about how amazing he was! From getting the crowd on the dance floor hyped up, to passing out glow-sticks, busting a move on the dance floor with us, or transitioning from Macedonian music to Dancing Queen (this was a huge hit!), everyone was impressed by his talent, genuine personality, and presence at our wedding. Not to mention he catered to our music taste so perfectly! Do yourself a favor and have Tru DJ your events; it will be a memory you'll cherish forever! We had a clear vision of what we wanted the music for our wedding to be, and Tru came in, totally understood it all, and then kicked it up to the next level. We also specifically requested Latin-inspired dance music and Tru absolutely understood the assignment!He guided us through the logistics of the wedding, and is such a smooth operator day of that it made things super easy. DJ Tru helped deliver the (unconventional) wedding of our dreams! First, when reaching out to him to book him for our event, I was struck by how personable and accommodating he was; his warm demeanor immediately put me at ease and reassured me that we made the right choice in a DJ. Over the course of the next few months, our venue and time changed but Tru was flexible and accommodated these changes with no issues. He was extremely responsive and enthusiastic about our event--we booked him to host a rave the night before our ceremony and OOH BOY he did not disappoint! I didn't give him much direction of our vision but even so he delivered way past our expectations. He was able to read the room perfectly, playing the music/tempo that fit the vibe at that particular time. He kept the energy of the rave high and was the reason everyone was on the dance floor the whole night! We had so much fun and Tru was so genuinely wonderful to work with that we decided our rave would be an annual event! We can't wait to hire him again next year :)

We cannot speak highly enough about Tru's DJ-ing for our recent wedding. He is a consummate professional in every sense of the phrase---organized, thoughtful, and an incredibly skilled DJ. He even spun vinyl for us at our cocktail hour, at our special request (we are also record collectors). Many of our guests told us that Tru's DJ-ing was the best music they had ever heard at a wedding. We couldn't help but agree!

Where do I even start!!!!! 12/10. My first experience with DJ Tru was at one of my best friends weddings. Every song was perfection. It was one of those nights where you said to yourself, I'll get off the dance floor on the next song, I'll grab a drink during the next song. You never wanted to leave the dance floor because each song just kept getting better and better!
DJ Tru was the very first vendor I booked for MY wedding because of this. He was willing to travel from NY to NH. He recommended his STUNNINGLY talented niece who plays the harp and my fiance and I thought what better way to surprise our guests and make a memorable moment than to incorporate a harpist into our ceremony. Terrease CRUSHED the harp. Playing Led Zeppelin to Taylor swift and everything in between. Just fantastic. DJ tru got the party started instantly. From introductions, to first dances. He was our end all be all. My dad wanted to do a fun father daughter dance, Tru didn't disappoint. He made our surprise dance FLAWLESS with his dj skills. From the moment we met to our wedding day, I never doubted his abilities to put on a show. He was flexible, comforting, confident, the easiest to work with and now we consider him a true friend. Just wow. He is THE BEST DJ!!!!! If you don't book Tru and Terrease you're missing out!!!!

I am not exaggerating when I say you are missing out if you don't hire DJ Tru for your event. Not only is he a phenomenal DJ, but he is a phenomenal person as well. Even if he hadn't DJ-ed our wedding, we would have wanted him there as a guest because his positivity is electric, he is an absolute joy to be around. I could go on and on about his DJ skills, I already knew he was the best of the best when we hired him, but he absolutely blew us away at the wedding. He immediately understands the vibes of the guests, then plays the exact right song over and over again. Our guests were on the dance floor nonstop. DJ Tru was truly our dream DJ. He was the hit of our wedding - months later our guests are still talking about him. Most of them got his card, even our out of state guests! In addition to his DJ skills, he is also just a wealth of knowledge and has so many helpful tips for the wedding. He is calm, cool, and collected - making it incredibly easy to work with him.
