Jennette’s Pier was the perfect backdrop for our wedding — breathtaking, meaningful, and well managed. Jenny Ash and her team were communicative and supportive from our first visit through the final send‑off. When storm adjustments threatened outdoor timing, they helped us with backup plans to move everything inside seamlessly. On the day, everything ran smoothly: seating, access, lighting, transitions — and guests kept complimenting the venue itself. We loved every minute there.

Planning my wedding for at the Village Beach Club was absolutely a dream! Especially during the pandemic, they were very accommodating to push back our date 3 times due to special restrictions. This is the most affordable, low-key, beautiful option we found, and working with Nicole was just the best. She highly took care of me that day, despite last minute rain, taking care of all of our decor, and following any instruction we discussed perfectly. Highly recommend her and the venue beautiful!

Great location if you want the beautiful OBX wedding on the water with stunning sunsets and backgrounds without all the complications that come with beach weddings. Nicole and the staff were very responsive and accommodating to our every need through the entire process and day of. They handled any of unexpected things that pop up with grace and professionalism. Food from start to finish was amazing and received numerous compliments from guests. Guests also enjoyed the views and atmosphere for all the photo opportunities it provided for them and their loved ones. We had a smaller wedding and NHGL were flexible and able to scale the celebration accordingly which was not the case with many other places.

This weekend we (Grace Community Church - https://www.gracecommunitychurchchesapeake.com ) held our annual church adult retreat in beautiful Nags Head, N.C. We arrive on a Friday evening and have activities occurring through Sunday afternoon. As is tradition, we hold our daily retreat activities in Pamlico Jack’s Restaurant, 6708 S Croatan Hwy, Nags Head, NC 27959. https://pamlicojacks.com Pamlico Jack’s is the perfect place for a larger than normal gathering such as ours. The spectacular panoramic view of the Pamlico Sound surrounding us as we gather in the upper room of the restaurant is magnificent. Some piece of the amazing sunset fills each pane of the restaurant windows. The restaurant is large and is right off of the main road (Croatan Hwy) leading into Nags Head. Each year, without fail, we know that our atmosphere, quality of food and service and overall visit here will be exceptional. Last December plans were made for our retreat we were having this year, 2018. However, due to a change in restaurant event managers, the church’s pastor realized – 2 weeks out - there was a disconnect. Our reserved space for 45 people within Pamlico Jack’s where we’d planned on having our retreat, had been scheduled to someone else. Ugh!! Hoping to resolve and remedy the double reservation, the Pastor reached out to Maryanne, Pamlico Jack’s new event manager. Upon realizing the mix-up, Mary-Anne quickly righted the error. She ensured that the restaurant space, the planned meal options and the necessary staff to support our event were in place for the original dates we’d scheduled previously. Mary-Anne, we cannot thank you and Pamlico Jack’s enough for your responsiveness, professionalism, quality of service and amazing food! To our awesome servers - Nick, Emily, Steve, Estella, & Michael, you were the best!! See you next year!!

Our wedding was at "The Barn" we discovered this venue by attending wedding expo our wedding planner highly recommend!!!! Great way to see some venues. What a perfect venue all in one for our wedding. We had the option of our ceremony on the beach (yes please), also included tables/chairs/arbor- set up and break down included. Plenty of room to move around, big dance floor, great for mingling. We also had a bounce house in the back and still enough space for kids to run around. Ps. Love the fact they include a prefered vendor list, I found helpful when I need a photographer, and DJ. Super helpful
