Facilities and Capacity Nags Head Golf Links gives couples the opportunity to enjoy a waterfront ceremony with an unmatched view of the Roanoke Sound. Available event areas include 9th Fairway, Player’s Grill, Soundside Deck/Patio, Soundside Tent and surrounding Clubhouse areas. We can accommodate up to 50 guests in Player’s Grill, an additional 50 on the adjacent patio/deck, for a total of 100 at the Clubhouse. The Soundside Tent can hold up to 150 guests. Capacity will vary based on room setup requirements and may require rental of additional tables & chairs. Custom packages available for guest counts of more than 150 for non peak dates.

Kudos to the entire Nags Head Golf Links team, especially Private Events Manager / Superhero Liz. My wife and I had initial concerns about planning remotely, and they morphed into major concerns when the pandemic arose. Throughout it all, Liz was THE GLUE who kept things together. She maintained a consistently detailed, responsive, and transparent approach with us. She was also super patient to the million questions thrown her way. After months of planning, she and team created an environment just as we imagined. On the Wedding Day itself, we were honestly blown away by Liz's command, attention to detail, and flat-out hustle. Any couple would be lucky to have her in their corner.
As for the venue, the NHGL clubhouse and surrounding grounds are actually more stunning than the photos show...almost as if they were designed for weddings -- not golf. There are plenty of food and drink options, and the sangria itself is well worth your trip. From a value perspective, we loved the versatility of both indoor / outdoor layouts that could flex for weather and size of guests. For us (and seemingly most others), Mother Nature naturally aids with a dose of heaven-sent Sound breeze and gorgeous sunset. With so many options, you just can't go wrong.

The Best Sunset Views
Great location if you want the beautiful OBX wedding on the water with stunning sunsets and backgrounds without all the complications that come with beach weddings. Nicole and the staff were very responsive and accommodating to our every need through the entire process and day of. They handled any of unexpected things that pop up with grace and professionalism. Food from start to finish was amazing and received numerous compliments from guests. Guests also enjoyed the views and atmosphere for all the photo opportunities it provided for them and their loved ones. We had a smaller wedding and NHGL were flexible and able to scale the celebration accordingly which was not the case with many other places.

Amazing wedding venue!
The staff were amazing - made sure every detail was right! Made our guests feel like they were home! Food was wonderful! Views from the venue are second to none!! Definitely get married here!!!

Amazing wedding with the best views!
We had a gorgeous sunset reception in May 2019 and couldn't have asked for a better wedding! Meredith was amazing to work with, very helpful and responsive. They set up our ceremony and reception and took everything down for us. We had the most amazing view and sunset pictures! So many of our guests said it was the nicest wedding they have ever been to. Highly recommend!

The Best Sunset Venue with the Best Team!
The beauty of this venue was enough to win us over, but the best part is the PEOPLE! Liz is worth more than gold and you want no one else but her running your big day. She made sure every detail of our wedding was taken care of the way that we wanted. She answered every single question we had (and believe me, we had a lot). She was very transparent during the whole process and you never felt like you were getting unknown or hidden fees when you were looking at the price breakdown. Then came the actual wedding week. She was so responsive and prepared (outdoor weddings have lots of uncertainties) I knew that with Liz and her team on my side, that everything would go perfectly. We were married on the fairway in front of the most gorgeous sunset, then I walked into the reception tent to find the wedding of my dreams that Liz and her team brought to life. I have had so many compliments from friends and family about the food, the staff, and the VIEW! Any couple is LUCKY to have the chance to work with Liz and her team. Thank you Nags Head Golf Links!

Perfect location and vendor team!
We just got married at Nags Head golf links in October and it was the most magical day. Liz and her team were incredibly wonderful to work with. Liz answered any and all of my questions in a timely fashion and was even willing to make some changes literally the day before the wedding. They set up and broke everything down for us and Liz was always close by when we needed her on the day of. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect wedding day and the Nags Head Golf Links team made that all possible. Not to mention the sunset and view are AMAZING. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful it was.

An intimate Outdoor Setting
The unexpected is the best way to describe our experience. We wanted an outdoor wedding at an intimate venue. We had a beautiful ceremony and reception at the course. The Nags Head Golf Links team is so flexible. We had storms come through. Liz and team were able to spring into action to make our day amazing. With the break in the rain we were able to get some amazing pictures.
The food! Wow! Get the filet! It was the best we have ever had. I got so many compliments. Andrew the chef created some great vegetarian options too. We had excellent bar service. It was absolutely the right choice for us.

Perfect Day
We got married at the Nags Head Golf Links on October 5, 2019. It was an absolutely perfect day thanks to Liz Myers and the staff. She made the whole planning process easy and stress free. I couldn’t have asked for a more helpful, fun, and professional person to coordinate my wedding. The venue is gorgeous and the food is delicious. During and after the wedding, I had multiple guests tell me how awesome they thought Liz was throughout the event. She truly makes everything as stress free as possible. I highly recommend Liz Myers and the Nags Head Golf Links for your big day.

Nags Head Golf Links is one of the premiere courses on the Outer Banks and offers a beautiful soundside setting for weddings. Upscale and First Class. I've enjoyed performing weddings there over the years.
The Nags Head Golf Links, located on the sound and within easy reach of guest accommodations, is worth an in person visit. Ashleigh will be most helpful with your questions as well as lead you to wedding pros in the area that will suit your needs for your dream wedding. Her genuine desire to make each and every bride have the wedding of her dreams makes the Nags Head Golf Links a venue destination.
