Great location if you want the beautiful OBX wedding on the water with stunning sunsets and backgrounds without all the complications that come with beach weddings. Nicole and the staff were very responsive and accommodating to our every need through the entire process and day of. They handled any of unexpected things that pop up with grace and professionalism. Food from start to finish was amazing and received numerous compliments from guests. Guests also enjoyed the views and atmosphere for all the photo opportunities it provided for them and their loved ones. We had a smaller wedding and NHGL were flexible and able to scale the celebration accordingly which was not the case with many other places.

The staff were amazing - made sure every detail was right! Made our guests feel like they were home! Food was wonderful! Views from the venue are second to none!! Definitely get married here!!!

The beauty of this venue was enough to win us over, but the best part is the PEOPLE! Liz is worth more than gold and you want no one else but her running your big day. She made sure every detail of our wedding was taken care of the way that we wanted. She answered every single question we had (and believe me, we had a lot). She was very transparent during the whole process and you never felt like you were getting unknown or hidden fees when you were looking at the price breakdown. Then came the actual wedding week. She was so responsive and prepared (outdoor weddings have lots of uncertainties) I knew that with Liz and her team on my side, that everything would go perfectly. We were married on the fairway in front of the most gorgeous sunset, then I walked into the reception tent to find the wedding of my dreams that Liz and her team brought to life. I have had so many compliments from friends and family about the food, the staff, and the VIEW! Any couple is LUCKY to have the chance to work with Liz and her team. Thank you Nags Head Golf Links!

We just got married at Nags Head golf links in October and it was the most magical day. Liz and her team were incredibly wonderful to work with. Liz answered any and all of my questions in a timely fashion and was even willing to make some changes literally the day before the wedding. They set up and broke everything down for us and Liz was always close by when we needed her on the day of. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect wedding day and the Nags Head Golf Links team made that all possible. Not to mention the sunset and view are AMAZING. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful it was.

Planning an out of town wedding can be stressful, but Liz made the entire process so easy! From touring the venue to the big day, Liz was there every step of the way to answer any questions I had (even multiple questions in a day)! The venue itself is gorgeous and so versatile, and the food was delicious! I’ve had so many compliments on how good it was! The wait and bar staff were so friendly and awesome as well! I was able to drop off my decor the day before at the rehearsal, and by the time I arrived on my wedding day, everything was out and set up perfectly! My wedding was absolutely perfect and stress free thanks to Liz and her staff!

We got married at the Nags Head Golf Links on October 5, 2019. It was an absolutely perfect day thanks to Liz Myers and the staff. She made the whole planning process easy and stress free. I couldn’t have asked for a more helpful, fun, and professional person to coordinate my wedding. The venue is gorgeous and the food is delicious. During and after the wedding, I had multiple guests tell me how awesome they thought Liz was throughout the event. She truly makes everything as stress free as possible. I highly recommend Liz Myers and the Nags Head Golf Links for your big day.

Venue is beautiful and staff very attentive to all our wishes. They went out of their way to make our day special.

The unexpected is the best way to describe our experience. We wanted an outdoor wedding at an intimate venue. We had a beautiful ceremony and reception at the course. The Nags Head Golf Links team is so flexible. We had storms come through. Liz and team were able to spring into action to make our day amazing. With the break in the rain we were able to get some amazing pictures.
The food! Wow! Get the filet! It was the best we have ever had. I got so many compliments. Andrew the chef created some great vegetarian options too. We had excellent bar service. It was absolutely the right choice for us.

We had a gorgeous sunset reception in May 2019 and couldn't have asked for a better wedding! Meredith was amazing to work with, very helpful and responsive. They set up our ceremony and reception and took everything down for us. We had the most amazing view and sunset pictures! So many of our guests said it was the nicest wedding they have ever been to. Highly recommend!

My husband Michael and I recently had our Destination Wedding in May at Nags Head Golf Links. Meeting with Liz Myers and working with Meredith Dunningan was 100% a seamless and professional process from start to finish. We did not have a very big wedding, with less than 50 in attendance, this was an intimate affair. The venue was flexible for our needs as there is not a set minimum on catering, and bar services. We also received a day of wedding coordinator, in-house white chairs, table linens, and clear drinking glasses, (if you are planning a wedding you know how helpful this). We do not live locally, and they were even able to put together a tasting of their catering options for us at a time that was convenient for our schedules. We didn't have to miss out on a thing!
Nags Head Golf Links offered a beautiful sound view, which our guests enjoyed as they watched the sun set. Our ceremony was on the green overlooking the water on the sound, (this was very helpful as my mother in law is wheelchair bound). We also had the outer deck, which provided the perfect sunset setting for cocktail hour, and an in door dinning room for our reception when dinner service was ready. All of our guests (many of whom had never been out to the OBX) were able to soak in the beauty of the Outer Banks with this venue and it's location.
Liz Myers is my hero! As my day of Wedding Coordinator she attended to many details; such as, our rehearsal and walk through the day before the wedding, all of the additional items needed for the reception set up, and handling guests who arrived an entire hour early to the service on the day of or wedding. I'm sure I cant even count all the things she took care of that I was unable to see. I do know she was there, until the very end. Liz and her staff were on site to help for the entire wedding, helping me, and helping our guests. She was a true Rockstar!!!!
I am so grateful to Liz, and Nags Head Golf Links. I am so glad we got to have our Destination Wedding in the Outer Banks and at this venue. I am truly so very blessed, and could not have pictured my wedding at any other place.

The whole staff made our experience simple and easy from the initial introduction meeting till the big day. Everything from setup to food to custom accommodations was all done in house!

Words cannot describe how amazingly perfect out wedding day was! Not to mention the process leading up to the event, Meredith was truly the best! She was reposnsive, flexible, and able to giv advice and feedback to any idea or question I had about decor/food/arrangements/etc. She really made me feel confident that they knew what they were doing and had my best interest a heart. The food was AMAZING we got so many compliments from our guests about it and the service as well! Everyone was very accommodating and friendly it set the tone for an amaing and stress free experience. I was so happy with the day of coordination and how Meredith and her team set up the decorations we had dropped off the night before. Again I can't say enough good things about my wedding day other than it was beyond my expectations and absolutely PERFECT! Thanks again!!!

Meredith and the whole team at Nags Head Golf Links made sure my wedding day went perfect, there was honestly not a thing I would change. Throughout our whole process Meredith was always available and so easy to work with. You can tell they know what they are doing and have ideas for everything if you need any help. The venue is gorgeous, the food is amazing, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this venue to everyone.

Absolutely exceeded our expectations! Food was fabulous! All of our guests loved it! Liz and Meredith did an outstanding job with all of our questions and planning. Very accommodating! Beautiful sunset and beautiful wedding!

A HUGE thank you to Liz Myers and her staff for making our wedding dinner OUTSTANDING! Our dinner was served on the deck overlooking the sound, where we enjoyed the picturesque sunset along with a vocalist singing/playing softly in the background. The rustic farm table was masterfully adorned with crystal urns, vases, candlesticks, and white roses. Crystal chandeliers magically "suspended" above the table cast a warm glow over perfectly prepared dinner! Our compliments to the Chef as well! Thank you ALL for a glamorous and elegant evening we will never forget.

We just got married at Nags Head Golf Links and it was a truly wonderful experience. After seeing many public beach venues, it was relieving to be at a golf course that was private and intimate. Ashley and Taylor were responsive to our many questions and concerns throughout the process, from when we first visited and throughout the wedding night. The venue is stunning and unique- you get to take amazing pictures at sunset and dance on a deck under the stars. Our ceremony on the sound was beautiful and the sunset was breathtaking. The food was fantastic and the chef was able to accommodate various dietary restrictions, from vegan to gluten-free. I highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants to take full advantage of the beauty of the Outer Banks but doesn't want their ceremony to compete with sunbathers on the beach.

Such a beautiful venue for our reception. Ashley and all the staff were amazing to work with, made the wedding planning process much easier for me planning from Ohio. It was absolutely beautiful. The sunset is to die for. We did an hordourve only reception and every guest was so impressed at how good the food was. We got what we paid for and so much more, couldn't be more perfect.

NHGL was perfect for our vow renewal. The club grille was great with the deck as our dance floor. The food was delicious and we got many compliments on it. Couldn't have asked for a better night!
