Josh and I couldn't speak more highly of our experience with Our Lady of the Seas. Father Fred, Anita, (and the location) was the reason we decided to have our wedding in Buxton, NC (7 hours from our home). First, Father Fred is one of the most honest and accommodating Catholic priests you will ever meet. Josh is Lutheran and I'm catholic and Father Fred offered any "believers in Christ" (not just catholics) to receive communion at our wedding. He was also incredibly easy to talk to and very REAL. He also was a hoot at our rehearsal dinner. Anita is also AMAZING. She helped me through some bumps in the road (with other vendors) while wedding planning and even offered to keep our dog, who happens to be a pitbull, at her home for the week since our rental house wouldn't allow dogs lol. The view from this church is ONE OF A KIND and makes for a magical wedding experience. If you're Catholic and getting married on the outer banks, do yourself a favor and get married at Our Lady of the Seas!!!

I had my wedding at The Inn on Pamlico Sound and it was truly magical. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make the entire weekend seamless. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel so supported throughout the planning process and on the big day. And the food—wow. I’ve eaten at the Inn several times and already knew it was incredible, but they delivered the same exceptional quality for our wedding. Our guests have not stopped talking about how delicious everything was! The venue itself is stunning, the service is unmatched, and the overall experience completely exceeded our expectations. If you’re thinking about hosting your wedding at the Inn, stop thinking and just do it. It was the best decision we made! 💛
