Absolutely amazing staff. Kourtney was so responsive and on top of things for our wedding and reception. Everything was perfect and they were in our budget. Couldn’t ask for a better place to have our wedding ceremony and reception.

KDH Resort was amazing and very impressive, the home was perfect for what we wanted. We did not run into any issues. The wedding day was windy so we moved the wedding inside. The residing guests were super impressed with the home and were excited about booking future events. Our wedding day was on September 14, 2023. Do yourself a HUGE favor and book this location for your wedding!! Bill and Veda are some of the kindest people I have ever met, and they took care of our every need! They made us feel like old friends, and they were so kind and professional. I really can’t speak highly enough of them! The lodgings were perfect- clean, cozy, rustic charm that felt like something out of a movie. If you love the simplicity of the outer banks, then this is the location for you! We will be back year after year!

I can't speak highly enough of the gorgeous deck overlooking the beach!! All the beauty of a beach wedding without the sand to deal with! From the sales team to the front desk personnel to the housekeeping personnel everyone did their best to meet our every need. The food was so good that our guests are still talking about it even two months later. If there was any less than stellar things it would be that the ceiling and lighting in the reception space were less than ideal. However, with some creative decorating by an outside vendor we were able to enhance the space.

The wedding was so beautiful as we got married right on the beach facing the ocean. Staff was so helpful and nice. They set everything up for us and made sure it was what we wanted.

The Collington Cafe did an amazing job on our wedding. They provided three different meals - rehearsal, reception, and a brunch. All of the food was sourced from local vendors and everything tasted amazing. Almost every guest commented on how great the food was to us. Carlen and Timmery went above and beyond in every way possible - she added many items on, she adapted as things were realized they were needed. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning their wedding in the Outer Banks.

We hired the Brewing Station to cater our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception, because after being to many weddings we are well aware of how bad the food typically is and we are fans of the restaurant. We were blown away by the service at both events and the communication with the catering team leading up to the event. They were extremely flexible in menu planning and very attentive to dietary needs. The food was outstanding and we had countless guests tell us it was the best wedding food they have ever had. They are a true team of professionals and we highly recommend them!
