Highly recommend!

Do yourself a HUGE favor and book this location for your wedding!! Bill and Veda are some of the kindest people I have ever met, and they took care of our every need! They made us feel like old friends, and they were so kind and professional. I really can’t speak highly enough of them! The lodgings were perfect- clean, cozy, rustic charm that felt like something out of a movie. If you love the simplicity of the outer banks, then this is the location for you! We will be back year after year!

Bill and Veda are so sweet! They really made sure everything was ready for our wedding day. It was great having some of the guest stay at the inn and really getting to talk with them about the area. They helped coordinate with the vendors and made sure we had what we needed for the wedding. Fantastic! Highly recommend them!

We stayed here the night of our wedding and it was so perfect! The house is beautifully decorated and the rooms are stunning. The breakfast was beyond delicious. Veda was such a great host and we can't wait to stay there again for our anniversary. Highly, highly recommend Cypress House Inn for a wedding reception or even as somewhere to stay the night of your wedding, or for a mini-moon! Gorgeous.

Veda, is such a wonderful person. She helped with coordinating the day of the wedding for me. She also did so much more. She and her husband have such a beautiful bed and breakfast which I used for my reception. It's a beautiful place to have a wedding and it's so close to the beach.

Bill and Veda were great. They were a wealth of information, since we were not from the area. They were great host and opened their Inn to us. Breakfasts were great and we would not have changed anything. Thanks

WE fell in love with the Inn the moment we walked in the door! Veda is wonderful!
we could not have planned the wedding without her help and advice. Being from out of state I was worried about getting vendors as I had never had any dealings with them. Veda gave us a list of vendors and rental places she recommended. She even got a quote from the tent and supply rental for us. The accomodations are great and both Veda and Bill are wonderful people! The breakfast each morning were very good! My husband and I are looking forward to staying at the Inn again. I would gladly recommend the Inn and Veda to anyone!

Bill and Veda at the Cypress House Inn are great!! They are such sweet people and were a real joy to work with! I absolutely love the Cypress House! It is such an awesome venue!! It was such a gorgeous setting for wedding. We actually got married under the pergola in the backyard and then had our reception under a tent in the backyard as well. We loved the setting and had many compliments from our guests! Bill and Veda are so flexible and willing to help you. All of our guests who stayed at the Inn during our wedding weekend had a great time and we all had a delicious homeade breakfast every morning!!! My husband and I plan to stay at the inn for our anniversarys or anytime we are out at the coast!

The Cypress House Inn is a lovely bed and breakfast. They have 6 guests rooms, all of which are yours when you rent the backyard for a reception. Bill and Veda Peters are the owners and they are so pleasant and incredibly helpful. By the time you leave you will feel like part of their family.

I had my wedding here last weekend and we could not be happier! The owners, Bill and Veda, are so kind and helpful. The decor is adorable and beachy without being overwhelmingly kitschy. The backyard and porch make for the perfect spot to have an intimate wedding reception (we had about 60 guests), though they could easily accommodate larger parties. All of the bridal party stayed in the Inn itself which was perfect for getting ready for the big event with everyone so close by while the guys stayed at the beach rental that the Peters own in Nags Head. It was an easy walk across the way to have the ceremony right on the beach. And the house is bright turquoise! Which I loved AND made it easy for guests to spot that were unfamiliar with the area. And the breakfast- honey and orange french toast- was scrumptious. Wins all around for the Cypress House Inn!

The inn was very nice. Well kept, very clean. The inn keepers are amazing when you meet them. The proximity to the beach couldn't be better.

Not only is the Inn itself filled with character, Veda and Bill are the most gracious Inn owners. Down to every detail, they cater to their guests & clients with the utmost hospitality. We've loved staying at the Inn ourselves, and we couldn't recommend a better place in Kill Devil Hills for an authentic Outer Banks wedding experience!
