Wedding Venues in Corolla

Whalehead was our dream venue. We hosted an 180 person outdoor wedding in May 2024 and we had the time of our lives! We got really lucky with temperate weather, had our ceremony on the Point outdoors, a perfect cocktail hour under the trees off the west porch of the building, and a massive dinner and dancing reception under a huge tent on the North Lawn with Corolla Light in the background. Whalehead was super accomodating and responsive throughout the entire process - big shoutout to Samantha Payne and Chris Hooper! They made sure we had all the permits we need and were so helpful as we worked to organize our various on site vendors for the big day. We had a few folks who required special care and transport and Chris and the golf cart were a wonderful addition to the day. We cannot wait to come back and renew our vows here someday or just visit and take some pictures :)

The Chesapeake Venue has it all for your OBX Wedding! The luxury, seclusion, intimacy, 24 bedrooms with all view to die for and, of course the wild horses:) The design of this property is so well laid out that our team can easily customize our couples wedding vision to fit their needs. Also great plan b's which you don't want, but need to have ready just in case. And you can accommodate 50 of your guests right there at your venue! Look no further. you have found your wedding venue on the OBX!

We are so grateful for the services provided by the staff for our wedding weekend! We had to adjust our wedding date due to rain and Meghann and her staff we so accommodating. She went the extra mile and delivered chairs from the restaurant to help out for the changes in our venue space. The food was delicious and the servers went above and beyond. We used them for the whole weekend and we are so glad that we did!

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding. The currituck club fit all of our needs and was beautiful for our wedding. We had 110 people and needed to get the tent which honestly was so nice to have the flexible seating for guest who didn’t want to be under the veranda dancing the whole time. It sprinkled during our wedding but I don’t think anyone really cared because they were surrounded by beautiful views of the sound. Jules and her team were the best! Anything we needed or wanted they got it right away for us even for the guests. They made the day so enjoyable and care free! Our guests are still raving about the cocktail hour food! We couldn’t have asked for a better day and better place to have our wedding.

CANDY is all that you will ever need to plan your wedding. Candy is the pastor's wife and an excellent wedding coordinator. She whipped wedding party into shape from a bunch of clueless, scatter brained participants into a well versed and rehearsed wedding party. She is phenomenal and Beautiful!( the pastor is one lucky man) Let Candy orchestrate your wedding at the Corolla Chapel. The chapel had plenty of parking for our wedding at 80 people. the chapel also has a HUGE room for bride to get ready and of course separate area on other side of church for the groom and men. The pastor is strict as he should be and his wife is all grace and class. Have your wedding in this charming church. the surrounding area is charming and historic. A+ experience!

Black Stallion and the OBX Celebrations Team are the perfect combination. “We stayed at the Black Stallion for our Outer Banks wedding. The house is fabulous and very roomy for a wedding. Mom hired OBX Celebrations as our full event team — and these guys are a class act from start to finish. We booked one of their bundled packages, and it made the entire experience effortless. Our coordinator, Michael, was on point all day and kept everything stress‑free. Our photography team, Megan and Luke, worked together seamlessly and were incredibly creative. DJ Frank locked in the perfect vibe all night, and Chef Sam cooked on‑site — his food was honestly the best we’ve ever had. For our beach ceremony, Steve played keyboard and delivered Bob Marley tunes to perfection. The whole team worked together like a well‑oiled machine. If you’re getting married at the Black Stallion, OBX Celebrations is the team you want.

We had the best time hosting our wedding at The Three Authors it honestly felt special from the moment we arrived. The property is huge, right by the ocean, and even more beautiful in person than we expected. It worked out perfectly for our group. Everyone had their own space to relax, but we could still come together easily, which was really important to us. The beach setting just made everything feel so calm and memorable. Manish and his team were great throughout, super responsive and easy to work with, which made planning a lot less stressful. We also booked through Luxstay USA and that experience was smooth as well. If you’re considering this place, I’d definitely recommend it. It’s unique, beautiful, and made the whole experience really special for us.
