Breathtaking Venue with Unparalleled Lake Michigan Views! My wife and I celebrated our wedding at this exceptional venue in September 2024, and it exceeded all our expectations. The owners, Nav and Jay, were instrumental in bringing our vision to life, offering excellent communication and flexibility throughout the planning process. We utilized every available space for our ceremony and reception. The recently upgraded rooftop ceremony area is a true highlight, featuring new flooring and glass railings that provide a sleek, modern backdrop. This blank canvas allowed us to create our desired atmosphere with minimal decor - we opted for palms and a wooden cross, complemented by white rental chairs. Initially, I was hesitant about the venue's exclusive partnership with Classic Catering. However, my concerns were quickly dispelled by their diverse menu options and outstanding food quality. The customizable bar service, coordinated directly with Nav and Jay, was another plus. The venue has a unique history of being a hotel, now that part of the building is a retirement community, I didn't know how that would work trying to have the wedding there. However, the venue and ceremony spaces are separate and you really don't even notice. The bridal and beauty suites are in the main building which allows you to step away, refresh, and slow down during the busy day. The spacious reception area comfortably accommodated our guests, providing ample room for dining and dancing. The venue's location is ideal for out-of-town visitors, offering stunning beach photography opportunities. For couples dreaming of a Lake Michigan wedding, this venue simplifies the process while delivering a gorgeous, fun-filled experience. From the attentive owners to the breathtaking views, every aspect of our day was perfect. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue for an unforgettable lakeside wedding.

We loved our wedding party at the Inn! It is a second wedding for both of us, and as we approached our 2nd year engagement anniversary, we decided to take the plunge. We had 3 short months of planning! Elizabeth and staff helped us tremendously. Outstanding food, beautiful venue, and additional contacts for local cake and entertainment services made it so special for us. Thank you Inn at Harbor Shores!

He etre team is a well oiled, genuine team that makes the normally stressful wedding process so smooth and better than you could imagine.

There simply are not enough words to express my gratitude for Charlie at Shadowland. His help was outstanding and I will forever be grateful. I could not have had my "Beach" Dream Wedding without his Shadowland Support. Nor the Entire Support of All my Vendor Staffers.... From Everyone's Help we were able to pull this OFF.... I simply can not thank everyone enough!!

We cannot speak more highly of Laura, who is the new event director!! She was a dream to work with for our Jan. 2023 wedding, with both the ceremony and reception at the Heritage Museum! She was very knowledgeable and helped us with every detail we needed. She made sure every box was checked and every i dotted with the details. Laura was amazing to communicate with and made sure to respond within a timely fashion, sometimes even on her day off! She helped give her input on what might work best for the space, which was super helpful! Laura went above and beyond to see if we were able to accommodate our dogs within our ceremony, which they were!! We cannot highly recommend working with Laura enough! 10 stars!! She was wonderful and would love to work with her again for any of our events in the future!

We had an event for over 60 people and this place went above and beyond to make it perfect for us. Food was personalized and delicious, service top notch, no empty cups or plates floating around, quick turnaround. Sunset views to top, at lakehouse, go for it :)

Union + Social is a beautiful and unique experience. From the start of the evening until the end everything was executed perfectly by the staff. The food was great! From the pretzel bar to the main course, and the smore bar for dessert. I highly recommend the venue for your special events!
