Rooftop Wedding Venues in Grand Rapids

I loved having my wedding at the B.O.B. We had our reception at the Top of the B.O.B. (3rd floor) and it was more than enough room for our 150 guests. The manager, Carolyn, was extremely helpful and accommodating to our every need. She was so prompt in returning emails and calls. We even had to change the number of guests <24 hours before our wedding date and she still arranged for that. The food at the BOB is delicious. I highly recommend the gouda potatoes!! But everything we had (buffet style) was yummy, and they helped move all our guests through the buffet quickly and efficiently. They even boxed up food for us to take home later! I can't imagine a venue that could have been better for my wedding, and best of all, the value for what we paid was amazing! I couldn't believe that I could have my dream wedding at such a reasonable price. It made me very grateful. I highly recommend the BOB!

The High Five was amazing throughout the entire process. From the time we booked with them, through planning, the rehearsal, and the day of the wedding. We were so impressed by their quick responses! They were more than happy to jump on a phone call if we needed it and were willing to give their opinions when asked! Even through covid they made sure to keep up communication. The venue itself is beautiful and we got compliments all night! Plus they coordinated with all of our vendors when to show up so it's one less thing you have to worry about. I cannot talk enough about how beautiful and perfect our day was thanks to the High Five. I wish we could relive this day over and over again.

Where to even start? Every imaginable part of our wedding day this past Saturday (4/26/2025) went absolutely perfectly, and the team through Baker Events helped make that entirely possible! My [now] wife and I fell in love with the venue when we toured it for the first time back in the spring of 2023, and we were fortunate to land the spring weekend we got. Our weather was flawless, and we made terrific use of the Loft and Warehouse for our ceremony and reception, respectively. Baker Events was excellent to work with through our entire process, and helped us every step of the way. If you're looking for a beautiful venue with convenient access to bridal suites, a salon, AND space for both the ceremony and reception, you can't go wrong with Baker Events. The partnered catering with Gilmore Catering was a massive hit with all of our attendees as well, as it's built-in with acquiring the venue space for your special day. Can't endorse Baker Events enough for how perfect our big day was with them!

We had a larger ceremony and reception scheduled at a different venue for the summer of 2020 but it didn't happen. Instead of waiting another year to get married, I researched alternative ways to get married during a pandemic and found the Intimate Ceremony package at The Goei Center. It was perfect! Just like an actual wedding but a lot less people and only for an hour. Kylie was amazing! Responsive, flexible, helpful, caring, thoughtful and dedicated to make my day as perfect as it could be given the circumstances. Goei Center is a great choice for a venue!!

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Art in the Loft!! They were beyond helpful in every aspect!!! I fell in love with the look of the loft, and I am so glad I decided to have my reception there! The kitchen is amazing and I'm so glad we used it because it made the catering run smoothly! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Art In The Loft!!! You will too!!!!

The Grand Loft was the perfect venue for our wedding celebration! Joe was extremely helpful, giving us a walk-through and explanation of the room set-up. He answered questions in a timely manner and was easy to work with.

Loved everything about the Hawk's Nest! We had our wedding here with 60-70 guests and it couldn't have been more perfect. The building is right in the middle of the Arts District and mixes industrial vintage with simple elegance. Lots of onsite photo ops which we loved. The online pictures don't adequately show the size...We had a full buffet dinner, DJ, and dance floor with plenty of space (not including the rooftop!) The staff is super accommodating and really helped make sure every detail was taken care of. Would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for an intimate setting for their event.

We loved using the loft during our wedding week. We booked it out for the Bachelor party, and it was absolutely the perfect. The location is ideal as we could walk to everything downtown, but honestly a lot of the night was spent inside the loft itself. It's such a cool atmosphere and everything was well stocked with anything we'd need and more. 10/10, we would highly recommend this to anyone needing cool and versatile event space.
