Mansion Wedding Venues in Grand Rapids

This venue was the only venue we visited, and we absolutely loved it! Everything is so simple, elegant, and classy. From the chapel, to the event tent, to the Bed and Breakfast. I highly recommend! We used this venue for our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, AND as accommodations for the wedding party throughout the weekend (their homemade breakfast is AMAZING). Nate and his team made catering decisions so efficient and they easily accomodate for any dietary needs. The tasting was one of our favorite parts of the entire wedding planning process - the food was absolutely incredible. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Chef and Nate pay attention to the details, things I would never have thought of, but things that really elevate the look and feel of the day. I never worried for a second that things wouldn’t go as planned. Cara helped with wedding planning from start to finish. She was responsive, efficient, and ensured everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. Cara conducted our rehearsal and was there to answer any and all of my questions. She coordinated with all of my vendors, making sure everyone knew where to go and what time to be there. The planning pod software that is used for seating arrangements made everything so easy and worry - free the day of the wedding! The staff at the morris took care of shuttling guests to / from the parking lot, setting up, and tearing down, so even clean up was made super efficient and worry free. THANK YOU morris estate, we are so grateful to have been able to work with you for such a special weekend.

We are so happy we decided to go with Paddock Place for our wedding reception! We had about 75 guests so we rented both the Tuscan & Drawing Room. The space has so much character. The food was great. Everything was perfect. A very special thank to you to Felicia for being exceptional from beginning to end- it would not have been the same without you!

The Inn at Stonecliffe sits up high on the West Bluff of Mackinac Island with breathtaking views of the Mackinac Bridge while overlooking the Straits of Mackinac, making this the perfect location for a wedding. The gorgeous surroundings and sunset views lend the opportunity for an abundance of beautiful photographs. We had the pleasure of working with Becky Miller who was essential to creating such a positive and memorable experience for us, even helping us navigating the postponement of our September 2019 wedding. Becky is excellent at communicating, extremely responsive, attentive, professional, and so easy to work with. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable! Thank you to Becky and her team for all they did to making our wedding so special in every way imaginable.

We hosted our daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner at the Sweet House on October 15 in the Wedgwood room. The history of the room and the house is fascinating. The table upon which we dined had been used in the past for dinners attended by US presidents William McKinley, Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, and Gerald Ford. Everything about the house exudes elegance and grace. After entering the welcoming and beautiful foyer, our party enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the Best Room, Print Room, and Library before dinner. The custom menu was provided by the Sweet House's Chef Hannah and the food was delectable. The bar service was excellent. Every detail was attended to by the respectful and fully vaccinated staff. We were treated like royalty from start to finish. I recommend this mansion venue to anyone looking for a perfectly unique and charming experience. You will feel special here!

My husband and I loved our light house wedding! It was a very uinique and special place. We have the BEST pictures and memories from our wedding. If you are lucky enough to get this wonderfull place here are some idea's. One rent white chairs for guests to sit on, two you will NOT need many flowers since you are outdoors, three have fun with the landscape the water and the light house are so perfect. Also, wear whatever dress you want to wear, I wore a long gown which looked perfect in the soft sand, and the guys were all in suits and the girls were in Davids Bridal dresses. Aquinas College was the picture-perfect venue and exceeded my expectations in every way. I grew up in Grand Rapids and never knew just how beautiful the campus is! We were married in the stunning Holmdene Garden and made the short walk across the beautiful campus to the Wege Ballroom for our reception. From day one, Mark and Callie, along with all the other staff at Aquinas, worked with us to plan our dream wedding. We took inspiration from the beautiful brick buildings with the climbing ivy for all the little details. Any questions/concerns were addressed in a timely manner, and Mark and Callie went above and beyond to work with us and our other vendors. I cannot express all of the compliments we received from family, friends, and other vendors on the Aquinas venue and staff. The appetizers and dinner were given high praise by all of our guests! How convenient it was to have everything all in one place. Our guests did not have to drive all over town, and we took all photos on the picturesque campus as well! One of my favorite perks of using this venue was having the historic Holmdene Manor for the rehearsal dinner and to gather and get ready in the day of the wedding. You can't beat the stunning backdrop and beautifully crafted details that truly make Aquinas College one of a kind. I only wish I would not have wasted time and effort looking at other venues when they were the whole package! I am so thankful for the expertise and hard work by Mark and Callie (and their teams), and I could not have been more impressed with all they did! I highly recommend Aquinas College! I cannot say enough amazing things about Greencrest Manor and the entire team!!!!!! We'll start with Jen, wonderful, incredible Jen who simply just gets it. From the moment I met Jen on my first visit to Greencrest, scoping out the perfect wedding venue, I knew my husband and I would be getting married there. Jen made me feel right at home on her STUNNING property. She is incredibly hands-on and with you every step of the wedding planning way. She and Ali, understood the vision for our wedding day and executed it better than we could have imagined. How can someone make something you thought you wanted even BETTER?! They worked within our budget and offered creative ways to cut cost. They connected us with the delicious bakery we used for our wedding cake, Millenium Catering team (our guests still talk about how scrumptious our meals were 8 months later) and in-house floral/design, which was as stress-free as can be. They are a well-oiled machine at Greencrest, which as a bride is exactly what you want. I didn't have one single worry from start to finish, including on the big day, because the day itself was in the more than capable hands of Jen and the GCM Team. If you are reading this and considering GCM as your venue, PLEASE stop looking and book as soon as you can before it fills up. Our friends and family have not stopped gushing about our beautiful wedding. There is no detail too small for their team. Beautiful location, free to do what you choose and with whatever vendors.

I'm a bit late on my review but wanted to express my and my wife's sincerest gratitude to both Wayne and Cherie. They both have done an amazing job in helping make my and my wife Alicia's big day memorable and just amazing. They were beyond helpful, even during the chaos with the golf cart delivery service. Words cant express how grateful we are. Money well spent, to say the least. The property was absolutely beautiful, GREAT for pictures!!! Their home is beautiful and I and my father enjoyed the stories the pictures and accolades to Wayne told, as we read book titles and headings in the Groom's dressing area.
