An Unmatched Setting
Our two sophisticated ballrooms feature glittering chandeliers, sweeping 40’ ceilings, and a chic, minimalist aesthetic that is waiting to serve as the perfect blank canvas for any impeccably styled wedding celebration. Clean, classic, and sophisticated, it’s designed to offer you a completely customizable experience. Truly nothing is impossible.
Être Farms also features two smaller event spaces located within the main venue. “Seven XVI” is a high-end wine bar with Roaring Twenties influence. “Spirits + Soul” is a premium spirits bar that overlooks the main event space. A large east and western-facing cobblestone patio allows your guests to enjoy the warmth of a wood burning fireplace as they watch the sunset with a drink in their hand.
Our venue is located on 5-acres of picturesque private grounds, where you’ll enjoy cobblestone paths, manicured greenspace, and a large pond - all illuminated by the enchanting glow of gas lanterns. Heated walkways, heated floors, and climate-controlled interiors make us an excellent choice for hosting a charming winter wedding. These and plenty of other delightful touches are all meant to enhance the guest experience while providing you with a beautiful backdrop for your wedding photos.
An All-Inclusive Experience
Être Farms offers an array of exceptional amenities meant to make your wedding day both visually stunning and stress-free. Our ultimate goal is to take the pressure out of planning so that all you remember are the beautiful, perfect moments surrounding your wedding day.
Unlike other wedding venues, we don’t just offer a large room and ask you to fill it with tables, chairs, food, and flowers. Instead, we offer all-inclusive packages that take the guesswork - and hidden fees - out of wedding planning. More importantly, our prepared packages invite you to take advantage of our talented, experienced staff members.
An in-house florist with an expansive floral cooler ensures your bouquet will be fresh and full when you walk down the aisle. Our executive chef will prepare a gourmet meal that your guests will be talking about for years to come. An on-staff sommelier will help you select from our world-class wines and liquors so you can celebrate in style. Finally, experienced on-site event planners are ready to ensure every detail of your wedding day is exactly as you pictured it.
Our Location
Although set in Southwestern Michigan’s stunning countryside, we are located only 2 miles off I-94 and 1 hour from downtown Chicago. Over 10 hotels are within 5-miles of our venue, making it easy to accommodate out-of-town guests. Silver Beach and its iconic lighthouse are also only a few minutes away from Être Farms, which gives you the option of holding your ceremony at the beach’s lovely pavilion.

Everything you should know about all-inclusive weddings
We hear it and see it in movies all the time; your wedding is supposed to be the most magical day of your life. Of course, if the stress of wedding planning, managing a budget, and dealing with disgruntled family members doesn’t completely overwhelm your life first - kidding but not kidding.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions in 2020, we see an increasing number of couples opting for a different wedding planning experience by skipping the large wedding altogether and choosing to elope. This is an excellent option for many couples who want to miss the minutiae of selecting the venues, rentals, paper goods, catering, alcohol, etc., altogether. However, some couples opt for an all-inclusive wedding that will maintain the traditional wedding feel but without the hassle.
If you are in the process of deciding between a traditional wedding, elopement, or an all-inclusive wedding, then you are in the right place. Keep scrolling for a detailed list of everything you should know about all-inclusive weddings to inform your decision.
Fewer Vendors
When comparing venues, one of the first steps is to list out the number of external vendors you will need. Some wedding venues have a preferred vendors list that will help you narrow down your vendor list options. However, some don’t. Most people prefer a narrow vendor list, as the vendor possibilities are endless, and it is overwhelming and time-consuming to make selections for every minor detail.
Once you are finished determining which vendors to use for what, every vendor you have to work with is now another detail for you to manage during the planning process and another expense to add to the budget.
Working with an all-inclusive wedding venue means fewer vendors to worry about. If you are the type of person who wants to avoid having to choose every last detail of your wedding, an all-inclusive wedding venue will be life changing.
For example, Être Farms, a wedding venue coming soon to St. Joseph, Michigan, includes the venue rental, floral design, decor item rental, catering and bar packages, and associated staff. Working with an all-inclusive venue like Être Farms means that you don’t have to worry about these additional details, making planning much more manageable and the months leading up to your wedding more enjoyable.
Save Money
Aside from freeing up mental space in your mind, working with an all-inclusive wedding venue will also free up room in your budget. Each vendor rental cost varies, and many factors will impact your cost (i.e., location, the time of year, etc.). Working with more than one vendor will undoubtedly start to add up in price, and it is often hard to determine how much you will end up spending between hidden fees, travel charges, and the cost of additional staff members.
The great thing about all-inclusive venues is that you know exactly what you are getting, and there usually isn’t wiggle room with the price you pay.
Again, this differs mainly with wedding venues and vendors that have hidden fees or unaccounted for charges. Most all-inclusive venues offer packages that are not only affordable but bundle all costs and expenses together.
Choosing an all-inclusive wedding eliminates a lot of financial stress and unknowns for couples during the planning process. The last thing you want the day of your wedding is to find out about hidden astronomical fees.
One Point of Contact
Another perk is that most all-inclusive wedding venues have an in-house planner and venue manager. Both people will be your go-to’s for all questions and concerns you have during the planning process.
Because the wedding planner and venue manager both work intimately for the venue, you can trust that they know the in’s and out’s of the venue space. Their experience with the venue is crucial as they will know what works, what doesn’t work, and ways to avoid potential pitfalls on your wedding day.
Furthermore, having one person (venue wedding planner) who can be your main point of contact for all things menu, decor, floorplan, menu, alcohol, timeline, etc., will save you time and alleviate so much stress on the backend of planning.
In-House Staff
Anyone who has gone through the process of planning a wedding can tell you how important it is to have a staff that has worked together and is familiar with the venue. Solid staffing can be the difference between a seamless wedding and one that leaves guests waiting for food, beverages, or entertainment.
The quickest way to avoid this type of staff-associated hiccup on your wedding day is to work with an all-inclusive venue with its own hired staff. Working with knowledgeable and experienced staff who regularly work in the same venue with the same team ensures a seamless event.
You will also avoid paying for travel fees and added staffing charges, as we mentioned earlier.
Choosing a venue for your wedding is a huge step and will be the background to memories that you will cherish for a lifetime. Have a firm understanding of what you want and don’t want from a wedding planning process. Choose your wedding venue based on this!
If you want a less extensive list to consider when it comes to vendors, choosing an all-inclusive venue will narrow that list and allow you to focus instead on the parts of planning that you enjoy shopping for your wedding dress or planning your bachelorette trip.
The wedding planning process is daunting, but we are here to help! Reach out to us if you have any specific questions or concerns.
