Beautiful Venue, great beaches for phots, planning made easy
My wife and I celebrated our wedding at this exceptional venue in September 2024, and it exceeded all our expectations. The owners, Nav and Jay, were instrumental in bringing our vision to life, offering excellent communication and flexibility throughout the planning process.
We utilized every available space for our ceremony and reception. The recently upgraded rooftop ceremony area is a true highlight, featuring new flooring and glass railings that provide a sleek, modern backdrop. This blank canvas allowed us to create our desired atmosphere with minimal decor - we opted for palms and a wooden cross, complemented by white rental chairs.
Initially, I was hesitant about the venue's exclusive partnership with Classic Catering. However, my concerns were quickly dispelled by their diverse menu options and outstanding food quality. The customizable bar service, coordinated directly with Nav and Jay, was another plus.
The venue has a unique history of being a hotel, now that part of the building is a retirement community, I didn't know how that would work trying to have the wedding there. However, the venue and ceremony spaces are separate and you really don't even notice. The bridal and beauty suites are in the main building which allows you to step away, refresh, and slow down during the busy day.
The spacious reception area comfortably accommodated our guests, providing ample room for dining and dancing. The venue's location is ideal for out-of-town visitors, offering stunning beach photography opportunities.
For couples dreaming of a Lake Michigan wedding, this venue simplifies the process while delivering a gorgeous, fun-filled experience. From the attentive owners to the breathtaking views, every aspect of our day was perfect. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue for an unforgettable lakeside wedding.

Aria's partner, Classic Catering, also went above and beyond. They worked with us to make our vision reality and provided great options promptly as we worked through details. The food was delicious, and the decor was everything we imagined and more - the guests were all blown away.

What an amazing and beautiful venue for SW Michigan brides! This venue overlooks the bluff and you can see gorgeous views of the Lake as well as downtown St. Joseph. The coordinators at The Veranda are professional and we've worked with them for several events in the past.
I have worked with the Veranda on several occasions. Everything is always well organized and beautifully set up. As an officiant, I am able to step and and do my job very comfortably. I can recommend the Veranda to any couple looking for a unique setting for both their ceremony and reception.
