Laura was fabulous! Highly recommend here!

We cannot speak more highly of Laura, who is the new event director!! She was a dream to work with for our Jan. 2023 wedding, with both the ceremony and reception at the Heritage Museum! She was very knowledgeable and helped us with every detail we needed. She made sure every box was checked and every i dotted with the details. Laura was amazing to communicate with and made sure to respond within a timely fashion, sometimes even on her day off! She helped give her input on what might work best for the space, which was super helpful! Laura went above and beyond to see if we were able to accommodate our dogs within our ceremony, which they were!! We cannot highly recommend working with Laura enough! 10 stars!! She was wonderful and would love to work with her again for any of our events in the future!

Beautiful, classic venue allowing for upscale reception, needing little to no additional decorations. A year later, family and friends are still talking about the character of the venue. It is reasonably prices, and letting us select our own caterer and provide our own alcohol, was very cost effective. Highly recommend this venue to any and all friends getting married.

Amy and her event staff were amazing to work with. She did absolutely everything she could to ensure that our day went smoothe and as stress free as possible. We didn't have our ceremony there, but since it was set for outdoors, the Heritage Center was prepared to be a back up option should the weather not cooperate. The recreation hall is a beautiful canvas to create your vision. I couldn't be more happy!

We chose to have our reception at the Heritage Center because of the simple beauty of the site. I'm thankful we did! Not only was the site stunning and elegant, but we received extraordinary service from Joyce, the planner. She assisted us with seating arrangements, as well as color choices of linens, and referrals. The Heritage is beautiful for any and all photographs you plan to have taken. You can use the small garden, or the brick wall which turned out some stunning photos. The staff during the reception was amazing! You rarely saw anyone, but everything ran so smoothly. The Heritage was a wonderful venue for our reception!

The Heritage Center is gorgeous. I had guests tell me this was the nicest wedding reception they had ever been to. It's very elegant, although I had an informal, small wedding. Even with only about 50 guests, it still worked. Perfect for dancing, dining. We even planned it as our backup ceremony site if it rained. I would highly recommend this place.

After an earlier fallout with another venue we were delighted to hear about a cancellation at this venue. It was so beautiful. The columns, chandeliers and patio are just stunning. Our guests raved about the facility. There were a few additional charges that I was surprised by when it all came together, but I guess that's part of the business.

So the place is to die for. Just beautiful!!!! However, the service was awful. The lady had an attitude every time, rolling her eyes, sighing, etc. She was just very rude and not flexible or professional at all. She got upset when I wanted to change the color of linen, because she stated over and over I told her something different 9 months before!!! I told her things change and gave way more than enough time because she had not even ordered linen yet, however she got it for me. During my meeting with hr I could cut tension with a knife!! she had an attitude with her staff and you could tell her staff don't like her! Then the day of the system did not work and worst of all I chose that place for children because has a great museum upstairs and gave children and guest something to do while taking family pictures between ceremony and reception which was 2 hours. However, when I got there they informed me museum was closed because changing the exhibit. When I talked to the person all she could say was sorry she did not tell me again with an attitude! So my guests sat there for 2 hours, I felt horrible. The kids got tired and half my guests left early!!!! so I paid for food that 50% of people left and did not eat!!!
However, I was so mad the next day before my honeymoon I went there and talked to her and told her how I felt about the whole experience and she reimbursed me for the stereo system not working and for the grief I had to deal with. So again worked out, but under that person i would never use it again. People say since the new director service has gone down, head her first time doing a job like this so maybe will get better. hopefully because beautiful place.

Let me start by saying, the venue itself is beautiful. There was little need to bring in much decor because the space has a lot to offer, including dramatic chandlers, wood flooring, bright natural lighting and a balcony. It is also very functional as we were able to have our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all in the same building. Unfortunately this is where my positive comments end. My experience with, Tammy, their events coordinator was the worst professional encounter I have ever had. MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS IN BLACK AND WHITE before signing a contract. When we booked Heritage, they had a different event coordinator (Amy) who was very accommodating. Fast forward to a few months before our wedding, Tammy and I were going over a few details when she told me that the extra hour (that we had paid $500 for) was not in our contract and that If I wanted it I would have to pay the $500 again! I spent no less than 3 hours with her over the course of 2 days fighting my case. We even pulled out old emails between Amy and myself stating very clearly that she had given us the hour for the price stated in the contract. And, still, they were going to make me pay for it again. She tried blaming liquor laws, and saying it was out of her control and at one point asked me, "why are you punishing me for something Amy said?" She was over all very unprofessional, making snide remarks and using sarcasm. It was awful. When all was said and done, she finally yelled at me to "just tell her what I want and she would give it to me." This added a lot of stress to an already stressful time. They will also nickle and dime you for your security deposit, so be ready to count it as money spent. Although I loved the venue, I would never host another event here nor do I recommend Heritage to anyone wishing to have hassle free planning.
