Exactly the venue we were looking for. This space gives you the flexibility to build the exact ceremony and reception you've always envisioned with the gorgeous backdrop of Lake Michigan to make it even more perfect. Having our close friends and family all able to stay right on site for the whole weekend was the cherry on top.

We had our wedding reception at the Perry Hotel in June 2025 and it was absolutely perfect. The Perry Hotel exceeded our expectations. It is such a special location filled with character and charm. It is the perfect mix of Northern Michigan and costal elegance. Angie and Jill were extremely prepared and professional throughout the planning process, answering all of our questions and keeping us organized. We’ve received endless compliments on how amazing the staff, service, and food were at our wedding. We have no notes. It was truly perfect. Jill helped us incorporate passed espresso martinis after dinner and it was such a fun touch. The Perry made us feel so special, we never felt like just another number. We highly recommend getting married at The Perry!

I cannot say enough about the team at the Inn at Bay Harbor who worked with us to plan and execute my son and daughter in law's wedding celebration. Kate Worland on the Event Sales team was an absolute dream to work with. We started planning for the event in 2019. Due to Covid, the date was moved twice and finally happened in September 2021. Through it all, Kate and Tina Gutowski, the wedding event manager, were flexible, efficient, professional and calm as we worked through all of the changes. The location could not be more perfect and we were so fortunate to have perfect wedding on the day. Our guests raved about the beautiful setting, the wonderful food and the service that was impeccable. Our wedding planner, Karly from Tableau Events, worked so well with Kate and Tina, it was a seamless event for us. Most of our guests traveled from out of town and were amazed at the beauty and wonder of the entire experience--many telling us it was the most wonderful weekend and such a special experience with many small touches that made it perfect. It was what we had hoped for and could not have been happier.

From the moment we began conversations with BHYC we knew we were in good hands. They were excellent in all phases of the wedding from planning to execution. The vendors were all happy to work with BHYC and had multiple weddings a year, so they really knew the environment. The food was amazing.

The Grand Unity Event Center was my dream wedding venue. Outside of the beautiful location, they were extremely easy to work with and helped produce the most perfect day. The pairing with Sweetwater Catering is the perfect combo for a bride and groom's perfect day!
