Village Suites Bay Harbor is a wedding venue in Petoskey, Michigan, offering beautiful ceremony and reception locations along a five-mile Lake Michigan shoreline.

Bay Harbor's Sunset Beach provides the ultimate fairytale setting to bring your wedding dreams to life. Say "I do" among the backdrop of the crystal blue waters of Lake Michigan. We are one of the very few venues in northern Michigan offering a beach ceremony option. Sunset Beach can accommodate up to 250 guests and embodies the casual up-north elegance that is truly Bay Harbor.
For a truly unique experience, there is nothing quite like Bay Harbor's Observation Platform. The bride and groom and their guests have unobstructed views of passing sailboats and yachts as your backdrop. Accommodating celebrations of up to 200 guests, the panoramic views are unparalleled in northern Michigan.
Our outdoor reception venue is just steps from the Village at Bay Harbor and Bay Harbor Lake Marina. Enjoy fabulous sunsets and stunning views of Bay Harbor Lake's magnificent homes and yachts. The Marina Lawn holds up to 300 guests, making it our largest reception venue.
Our Village venue, Elevation, is the only indoor option for your celebration. It has a furnished lobby ideal for cocktail hour. The oversized bay windows display a beautiful view of Main Street in the Village.
We also offer on-site suites and vacation home rentals for your guests sitting atop a charming Village with twinkling lights illuminating at dusk. We are indeed a beautiful and unique wedding destination like no other.

Our Perfect Day
Wedding on Sunset beach and reception at Conference center
We were able to get in early and set up then had until Sunday 12 to pick up our decor.
The hall was clean and set up before we arrived Friday to decorate.
Extremely Beautiful Venue for a Summer Wedding.
We went through three event managers at BHVH during our planning process (about a year and a few months). It did get tricky communicating what was promised to us in our initial agreement for the wedding, but the last two event coordinators and the GM, Craig, were extremely kind and ensured that all things agreed upon would happen. Cearra, the current event manager, was incredible at communicating and made sure that we were all taken cared of leading up to and day-of the wedding.
I’m from Los Angeles and had to plan this wedding from far away. Additionally, we had guests coming in from all over--California, New York, New Jersey, Michigan, and even out of the country--do it was important to my fiance and me that the accommodations were comfortable and the experience was exceptional. Let’s just say everyone’s asking if we can have another wedding and when they can come back next time we make a trip. It was so stunning beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate our day! Thank you so much BHVH!!!
