Voted Best DJ in northern Michigan 2023 (People's Choice, Petoskey News Review) Parker Marshall Entertainment is based in Petoskey and is the Up North choice DJ for weddings and private functions. DJ Parker Marshall entered the wedding industry in Los Angeles and has been mentored by Los Angeles's best DJs since 2018. He started as hired dancer "hype man" "professional wedding crasher" and has taught dance classes at local studios. His background as a dancer brings a unique perspective to his performances, bringing crazy energy & fun to his sets. In 2023 he has been the resident DJ /VJ at NOMAD. restaurant in Bay Harbor and the Hotel Earl of Charlevoix.
In 2024 Parker added five DJ's to join him and his company. Parker, Eli, Jordan, and Jack are all based in Petoskey, while Jakey is based in Marquette, and Kyon is based in Grand Rapids. All of us will travel anywhere, we are all available for 2025 bookings.
We have DJ'ed all over the place in Michigan, but wedding venues include: Gypsy Distillery, Shinola Hotel, Peninsula Room, Mackinaw Island, The Perry Hotel, Bay View Weddings at Gallagher Farms, Traverse City Opera House, Ciccone Vineyard & Winery, Sweetwater Event Center, Bay Harbor Golf Club, The Cottage at Ravines Golf Club, Castle Farms, Farmhouse Vinyards, Gabriel Farms & Winery, Country Club of Boyne, Shanahan’s Barn – Charlevoix, The Cherry Barn at Nugent Orchards, Jacob’s Farm, A matter of taste, Tapawingo, Sunset Hill Wedding Barn, Dhasseleer Events Barn, The Talcott Walloon Lake, Sunset Beach Bay Harbor, Little Harbor Club, Harbor Brook Hall, Birchwood Farms, Sojourn Lakeside Resort, Charlevoix Train Depot, Camp Petosega, Point Nipigon Resort, Charlton Township Hall, Otsego Resort, Otsego County Fairgrounds, Emmet County Fairgrounds, as well as private residences / barns.
We are open format DJs. top genres include Pop 1960's - Today's hits, Motown & Soul, Disco, Funk, 80's New Wave, Dance Rock, Hip-Hop, R&B, Country, Spanish music, as well as electronic dance club hits & standards.
After a consultation, we will craft a bespoke set based on your description of your guests and music preferences, combining your tastes with years of expertise in music curation.
