Owner AJ Smith has an impressive background in the music industry, having worked as a stagehand for icons such as Lady Gaga and Bon Jovi. His career progressed to working on stage for Diana Ross and Jethro Tull at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. AJ is passionate about music. He has been in seven rock and metal bands and has worked in various venues playing genres such as hip-hop, reggae, blues, and dance. AJ has been a DJ at corporate events for brands such as NIKE. Traveling across the USA, he even worked for Elton John and the WWE at the US Airways Center in Phoenix. With AJ's years of experience and help from his assistant Cathy Baliuag, 1Wave DJs ensures each couple receives a five-star experience on their wedding day.
