  Our Perfect Day

  We celebrated the most magical day here thanks to the amazing team at the Inn at Bay Harbor. We held a small ceremony on Sunset Beach for just our immediate family. I knew we chose the right venue from the moment that I reached out to Carolyne inquiring about booking to the celebratory dinner we held at Vintage Chop House and Wine Bar (without reservation I might add as our plans changed and the kind Bay Harbor team accommodated us very last minute). Our day was pure perfection and everything we could have asked for. Thank you once more to the amazing staff throughout the Inn at Bay Harbor.

  Thank you so much for the kind words. Just to clarify for future brides, Sunset Beach can only be reserved through the Bay Harbor Village Hotel. We all work in the same neighborhood, but are very different venues. I'm so happy your day was perfect. With the Village Hotel's Sunset Beach AND the Chophouse at the Inn, you couldn't get a better experience. :)

  Wedding on Sunset beach and reception at Conference center

  This was such an amazing day thanks to Cierra.
  We were able to get in early and set up then had until Sunday 12 to pick up our decor.
  The hall was clean and set up before we arrived Friday to decorate.

  Extremely Beautiful Venue for a Summer Wedding.

  We had a very incredible experience with having our wedding at Bay Harbor Village Hotel. I highly recommend it! We had a beautiful outdoor reception at the North Marina Lawn the weekend of July 4th and we + our guests stayed at the hotel for the holiday week.
  
  We went through three event managers at BHVH during our planning process (about a year and a few months). It did get tricky communicating what was promised to us in our initial agreement for the wedding, but the last two event coordinators and the GM, Craig, were extremely kind and ensured that all things agreed upon would happen. Cearra, the current event manager, was incredible at communicating and made sure that we were all taken cared of leading up to and day-of the wedding.
  
  I’m from Los Angeles and had to plan this wedding from far away. Additionally, we had guests coming in from all over--California, New York, New Jersey, Michigan, and even out of the country--do it was important to my fiance and me that the accommodations were comfortable and the experience was exceptional. Let’s just say everyone’s asking if we can have another wedding and when they can come back next time we make a trip. It was so stunning beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate our day! Thank you so much BHVH!!!

  Bay Harbor was exceptionally accommodating. Besides being a beautiful venue, their service, flexibility, and accommodations were what made this place the perfect choice for us in northern Michigan. There were no minimums or requirements to meet. The coordinators there, Megan and Melinda, went above and beyond what I could ever expect! They are truly professionals and the Bay Harbor Village offered such an intimate, quaint, setting for my guests to relax and enjoy

  Bay Harbor Village Hotel staff were SOOOOO accomodating and professional. They were there for my husband and I from day one. They help keep you on track and assist you in whatever you may need. Our wedding was absolutely above my expectations. The rooms were amazing and things went smoothly!

  This place is a dream!

  Cearra was incredibly helpful and ensured we had everything covered leading up to our big day, and that everything was perfect on the day of. The venue is beautiful, and particularly great if you are looking for a venue where your guests can stay on site. One thing to mention - there is only one option for catering. They were wonderful and easy to work with, but it does limit your options for food/beverage. Highly recommend for a Northern Michigan wedding!

  Great place for guests for your wedding

  We had a block of rooms for our daughters wedding in August and it was a great location and perfect fit since our venue was in Bay Harbor Village as well. Their room configurations work out perfectly for families or groups of friends. They were very helpful even after our block was full in helping us accommodate our guests and our guests loved the rooms, the view and the location. Lots for guests to do in Bay Harbor, shopping, eating and even a bar to host your "after party"

  Absolutely the most beautiful venue you can imagine in the Summer. We are thrilled that we stumbled upon Bay Harbor and have now found our new favorite vacation spot in Michigan. We had an outdoor wedding and reception on the lawn area near the marina and it was everything I could have imagined! The only negative part was that our coordinator was not very present on our wedding day and our ceremony location was not set in a timely manner and my family was running around taking care of it, when they should not of had to. Minor glitch, but it does stand out in our minds. If you are looking for a place to have your wedding in MI...this is the place! Overall you will not be dissapointed!

  Prompt and dedicated to making our day go as smooth as possible

  Cearra was hired in the middle of event planning. She was willing to get caught up on plans already discussed and helped to facilitate communication with other vendors to make our day go as smoothly as possible. She was great to work with!

Cearra did a good job but I felt like some things fell through the cracks in the transition (they had promised us use of a van and we found out a few weeks before the wedding that they had sold it). Overall, I would recommend this venue asit was beautiful but would also recommend hiring a planner to help with some of the coordination and logistics.

They were very friendly and helped us a lot but it was sometimes hard to get into contact with them and my guests had a hard time booking rooms at the hotel despite us blocking more than enough. Other than that, they were very accomodating, even helping to find us a place for dinner after our small beach wedding, which also turned out great. Melinda, the wedding planner, was so sweet and a joy to work with. I would recommend this venue but just advise that it might not be a totally smooth process!
