Beautiful wedding celebration at The Inn at Bay Harbor

I cannot say enough about the team at the Inn at Bay Harbor who worked with us to plan and execute my son and daughter in law's wedding celebration. Kate Worland on the Event Sales team was an absolute dream to work with. We started planning for the event in 2019. Due to Covid, the date was moved twice and finally happened in September 2021. Through it all, Kate and Tina Gutowski, the wedding event manager, were flexible, efficient, professional and calm as we worked through all of the changes. The location could not be more perfect and we were so fortunate to have perfect wedding on the day. Our guests raved about the beautiful setting, the wonderful food and the service that was impeccable. Our wedding planner, Karly from Tableau Events, worked so well with Kate and Tina, it was a seamless event for us. Most of our guests traveled from out of town and were amazed at the beauty and wonder of the entire experience--many telling us it was the most wonderful weekend and such a special experience with many small touches that made it perfect. It was what we had hoped for and could not have been happier.

Top-notch service and team, best in class Up North

As a bride, I cannot recommend Bay Harbor enough as a wedding venue. There is no better option in Northern Michigan (or maybe even all of Michigan).

The service we received as wedding clients was amazing. From our very first interaction with the Bay Harbor team, I knew we were in the best hands. Jaclyn Wingate (their wedding sales manager) helped us figure out how to pull together the best event possible. She is a total professional - incredibly experienced, responsive, and super sharp. She's also a delight to work with. She is warm, kind and really understanding of all the ups and downs of wedding planning. She made our experience what it was. Chantal was also absolutely wonderful! Every bride knows how important the vendor team is -- they can make or break your wedding. And I can say with total confidence that any other couple will be in the very best hands with them.

Also of note is the overall quality of the venue at Bay Harbor. The place is in tip top shape (the golf club, the lawns, the dining areas, even the bathrooms, are all pretty pristine). It has been beautifully maintained over the years. They were really flexible in accommodating our design vision/plan. And you cannot get a better view of the lake! So gorgeous.

Beautiful Venue

My daughters wedding was absolutely beautiful. The venue sells itself and is stunning. Jaclyn Wingate the sales manager was very helpful and responsive to our questions and requests.

My Perfect Day!

The Inn was great to work with, Jaclyn and Tina were great and super responsive the entire time. The food the day of the wedding was amazing, everyone said so - and you can't go wrong with this venue in terms of the views and scenery. Everything worked out perfectly!

Above and beyond

We had our daughter's rehearsal dinner at the golf club and then a welcome event for 100+ on the Sagamore Terrace at the Inn at Bay Harbor. Both events came off seamlessly. Everyone involved did an outstanding job. The food was delicious. The service was great. The settings can't be beat. And there were no hidden surprise costs. They really went above and beyond to make the weekend extraordinary. We all enjoyed our stay at the Inn too!

Amazing Venue, beautiful views

We had our wedding at the Inn at Bay Harbor two days ago and we are still on cloud nine from the whole experience. The views are stunning, the service is impeccable, and the food is delicious. We worked with the hotel event coordinator, Tina, to help us plan our day. She was excellent and detail oriented all through the planning process and made us feel at ease on the days leading up to the wedding. On our wedding day she made sure everything was perfect and even helped me bustle my dress when my family was having trouble! Many of our guests told us it was the nicest wedding they have every been to and I credit that to the Inn at Bay Harbor and their staff.

Stunning venue

We had our ceremony and reception at the Inn this past July. We fell in love with the natural beauty of the Inn and couldn't have imagined our wedding anywhere else. Tina, the Inn's event coordinator, was a dream to work with. She went above and beyond to make sure that we had the most magical day - and we did!!

Inn at Bay Harbor Wedding review

We had an amazing wedding at the Inn. The location is gorgeous and our guests had a wonderful time exploring Northern Michigan. We had a bit of rough time with our room block - guests weren't always able to book rooms that were open. However, the Inn and Jaclyn always provided excellent customer service to fix these issues when they would arise. The great service from the staff, both at the hotel, and during our reception, was something that numerous guests commented on. I also specifically want to call out Tina for her incredible support as event/venue coordinator. This was her first wedding season at the Inn and she was wonderful to work with. We planned our wedding from Arizona and we emailed her countless times with questions and thoughts and she was great at getting back to us or providing her own input. She helped make sure that the day-of was executed flawlessly. She went above and beyond to ensure that we had leftover food (which was so tasty!) and cake in our room at the end of the night. I would highly recommend the Inn - our guests are still telling us how awesome it was!

Unbelievable

Our fall wedding was unbelievable! We had the most amazing wedding and our guest had the best time! The hotel and its staff are incredible! We had the perfect fall day! I would recommend the inn at bay harbor for any season fall, winter, spring or summer! You cannot pick a better place!

Rehearsal Dinner

The Inn at Bay Harbor team left no detail unturned. We had an incredible wedding weekend and our guests were thrilled. Our rehearsal dinner and meet and greet reception were two incredible events. From the front of house to the back of house, it was top notch. Jaclyn, Katie and her entire team were a pleasure to work with!
