We truly could not have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding weekend than The Palms Hotel & Spa. The property is absolutely stunning - elegant, warm, tropical, and incredibly welcoming - and our guests are still talking about how special the entire experience felt. The biggest thank you goes to Nataly, who was nothing short of amazing throughout this entire process. Her attention to detail, thoughtfulness, professionalism, and calm presence made such a difference from start to finish. The week of the wedding especially, she handled countless moving parts and requests coming from every angle with so much grace and kindness, while somehow making everything feel seamless. You can truly feel how much care this team puts into creating memorable experiences, and we are so grateful for all of the special touches that made our wedding weekend unforgettable. We’ll forever look back on our time at The Palms so fondly. 🤍

I was so happy with our entire wedding weekend at the Faena. We had our ceremony with 270 people on the beach, cocktail hour in and around the mammoth garden, and ceremony across the street at the Forum. Due to pricing we did a complete buyout of Casa Faena and had guests who wanted to stay at the main Faena Hotel book on their own. The guests who stayed at Casa Faena raved about it. Staff was friendly and they loved the charm of the boutique hotel and spent a lot of time on the roof). It comes without saying, the entire staff at the main hotel was also exceptional. As for the wedding I couldn’t say better things. The food was delicious from the cocktail hour to the late night snacks. The drinks were flowing, the there was a great selection in the standard menu that came with the wedding pricing. The weather helped the beach ceremony go without a flaw. Cocktail hour at sunset near the mammoth was dreamy. The Forum was such a cool space the have the reception. The guests loved the unique room, and the sound was great. We were worried after reading a review about the acoustics with the tall ceilings, but we were very pleased. Overall, this was a great place to host a wedding. P.S. when you book a wedding with the Faena a bridal concierge is included. Hilda! She was the best and so helpful throughout the day – the one person I didn’t know I needed. She helped me and the bridesmaids while we were getting ready, helped usher my husband around the property, and was always ready with a new drink while we were on the dance floor. She is the best!

The truth is that I should've written this review 3 years ago. We got married Feb 15, 2020, 1 month exactly before everything shut down due to Covid. And from the moment we began considering the Confidante, it surpassed every expectation. Whereas other venues on Miami Beach were extremely hands-off during the tour (which is usually your first experience with the venue) at the Confidante the tour was led by Juan Gervasio, the Events Manager, who eventually was our main point of contact for everything. Honestly, Juan might just be the best part about choosing the Confidante as your venue. Sure, a lot of things matter when you're getting married, and that’s what makes wedding planning so stressful for some: having to coordinate all these high-importance things into a perfect synchrony of events on the actual wedding day when you, the bride, are supposed to be just “enjoying yourself.” And that’s why Juan is a gem and a lifesaver. He is professional, responsive, warm, friendly, it’s clear that he truly wants to see you have the best possible experience, he knows the venue inside and out... I felt so taken care of and I trusted his professional opinion, and as a result my wedding planning was honestly delightful. Not just the day-of, but the meal tasting, the rehearsal dinner, everything was truly exceptional. When we went in for our meal tasting, for example, we brought our parents. We thought it would be a good way for them to feel included in the planning process. Apparently the tasting can be a bit of a transactional experience for some, but Juan made it a fun and celebratory occasion for us, and we ate like kings. It was a special way to get us excited about the wedding, and our parents still talk about what a great meal that was. At the end of the day there were several reasons we picked the Confidante: it's beautiful, we had a warm and welcoming experience during the tour, and it had that art deco Miami Beach vibe with a lot of beautiful outdoor options, and it felt colorful and friendly, but it also had solid backup options in case of rain. Lo and behold, we had a MAJOR storm on our wedding day. We had to change all 3 locations (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) to be indoors and Juan took care of *EVERY* last detail. Looking back, I wouldn't have had it any other way. Our wedding was beautiful (and the storm also made it dramatic, lol). Our guests later shared that they had no idea we had all those last minute changes, the whole experience was seamless (and stress-free for me, which truly cannot be overstated). I'll wrap this up with one last comment about the other special thing about getting married at the Confidante: we get to go back! We got married 3 years ago (it's shameful that I haven't written a review in that time - forgive me) and we've been back for anniversaries and staycations. In fact, I am getting ready to head over today for another 1-night stay at the Confidante, just because. It really feels like the gift that keeps on giving. I cannot recommend the Confidante enough. Juan made us feel so taken care of, he was so attentive to every detail, and the venue itself is beautiful and a great destination for out-of-town guests. There is not a single (not one!) thing we'd change about our decisions or that day. Juan was the event manager and venue coordinator, but my day-of coordinator was also my florist (Ever After Florist) and they worked wonderfully together. We are so grateful to Juan and the Confidante team, you've created a memory we treasure deeply and remember longingly. Thank you! (For reference, in the photos, we had 100 people and doing a standing ceremony was always part of the plan, not a last minute change -- just for clarification!)

WOW! Everything went without a glitch. Every staff member was attentive and professional. We booked the Rivera room for our intimate wedding and it looked amazing! Kat was AMAZING and she responded back to all of my questions within minutes. Robert Tiong- Event Manager and Martin Perez- Banquet Manager were very attentive the day of the wedding, they made sure everything was the part. We stayed at the hotel a couple of nights and we enjoyed every second, the ocean view was breath taking. The food and drinks were delicious and plated so beautifully. Thank you! Noel and Lily

Pics included. Where do I start :-) I had an elegant garden wedding reminiscent of Old Hollywood in this gorgeous Art Deco hotel built in the fifties. We shopped around a lot, and bc The Palms has so many reviews, I was almost tempted to go with them (not having found the Shelborne yet..) but my gut was not happy w their service- at all. It felt like everything I asked for came w an additional price tag or a “sorry we can’t do that.” Not to mention The Palms is not in the heart of south beach, it’s much further up, not the best walking score. Having many out of town guests, I wanted them to experience “the real south beach” Then I found the Shelborne! Mariana Hauri immediately felt like family :-) she was equally as excited to work w us as we were with her, she helped me get to a price point that I was looking for, and offered the flexibility I needed (given we were in a pandemic) I chose the oasis for a garden wedding, Had the ceremony and the reception all in the same location and it was absolutely gorgeous!! We even had spectators watching the ceremony from the beach board walk. I felt like a movie star!!! The food was EXCELLENT. The drinks yummy, and the staff was outstanding :-) this was our dream wedding! I also had an amazing wedding planner who helped me w the vision of the space. Highly recommend her as well (@details_event_planning). Overall, I couldn’t have dreamed of a better wedding in every way!

Our wedding at the Mondrian South Beach was an absolute dream. The moment the sun started setting over the terrace, it felt like time stood still. This venue is the perfect blend of Miami glam and timeless romance — every detail, every view, every space felt magical. We planned a kosher destination wedding, which came with a lot of moving parts, and the Mondrian team handled it all with calm professionalism and genuine care. Alexander and Ricardo were incredible to work with and made sure everything flowed smoothly. They also connected us with top-tier vendors who brought our vision to life. The service staff was warm and attentive, and the vibe they helped create was both elegant and joyful. We’ll never forget the feeling of that evening — surrounded by our loved ones, the ocean breeze, and a golden sky. If you're looking for a venue that delivers beauty, flexibility, and a unique sense of magic, we can't recommend the Mondrian enough.

I just recently had my wedding at this venue on April 15, 2017 and I could not have been happier with how amazing everything turned out. Tricia was the best help we could have asked for.. Especially since I didn't know much about weddings or how they were ran. From the beginning to the day of.. she was patient, kind and ALWAYS willing to help as much as she could. The day of, was ran as smooth as ever and every detail of that day went perfectly. Juan, who was handling the food/bar aspect of the evening was also a huge delight- very polite and always looking to make sure everyone was accommodated. I can honestly say we had the best experience here, and was never disappointed with the services along with the venue. One thing I can promise anyone who is looking at this place is that even if you have any issues, they have a great team who will make sure everything is handled for you worry-free. My wedding was a dream come true and we couldn't thank Tricia and her team enough for all their handwork and time they put into making it that way for us.

Everything was fabulous from beginning to end. Once we arrived the attention was all on us from valet, the front desk, every employee offered us assistance and follow up which demonstrated their commitment to their guests.

We had a rooftop ceremony and atrium reception at the Betsy and it was one for the books. The team is extremely professional and accommodating, the hotel itself is very cool and in a perfect location, and we got tons of compliments afterwards about how it all went.

No other venue even comes close to the beauty and elegance of the National Hotel. Ivette, the Director of Sales & Marketing, was a dream to work with!! She made planning from Chicago a breeze and did not let any detail go untouched. From my very first meeting with Ivette all the way through to our post-wedding party, we were treated like royalty. We were greeted in our bridal suite with a fresh fruit bowl, chocolate covered strawberries, variety of pastries, and a bottle of our (my) favorite wine! Anytime we needed something or had a last minute request, Ivette made it happen! Our every want and need was addressed and taken care of seamlessly and professionally. The staff, servers, and bartenders at the National Hotel knew every last detail of the event; all guests were made to feel important throughout their stay and during our event. We also reserved a room block for our guests, which was a great addition! We had our ceremony and reception at the gorgeous Aqua Pool; the pre-existing decor and ambiance of the National Hotel is something you truly cannot find anywhere else in Miami! We also hosted our post-wedding party at the cabanas by the pool; it was a gorgeous ending to such an unforgettable and dreamy wedding day! Our guests absolutely LOVED the menu we hand-selected; the National Hotel has so many fabulous options, and such a wide variety, to choose from. We were able to customize all of the food and beverage menus for our entire wedding weekend; from getting ready with our wedding party all the way through to our late night snacks station on our wedding night. We were able to taste and select from a wide variety of delicious hors d'oeuvres for our cocktail hour, and construct an amazing dinner menu for our guests. Ivette also worked with us to create a signature cocktail and to personalize our wine selections. Ivette knew how important the little details were to me, so before our ceremony we walked through and admired all of the beautiful work that all of the vendors did to bring our vision to life! I cannot imagine my wedding day any other way. If you are looking for the most PERFECT venue to host your wedding, we highly recommend the National Hotel!! 10 out of 5 stars! XO Becca & Tyler
