Our wedding at the Mondrian South Beach was an absolute dream. The moment the sun started setting over the terrace, it felt like time stood still. This venue is the perfect blend of Miami glam and timeless romance — every detail, every view, every space felt magical.

We planned a kosher destination wedding, which came with a lot of moving parts, and the Mondrian team handled it all with calm professionalism and genuine care. Alexander and Ricardo were incredible to work with and made sure everything flowed smoothly. They also connected us with top-tier vendors who brought our vision to life.

The service staff was warm and attentive, and the vibe they helped create was both elegant and joyful. We’ll never forget the feeling of that evening — surrounded by our loved ones, the ocean breeze, and a golden sky.

I am a wedding planner located in South Florida and our partnerships with venues are hugely important to us for finding and creating amazing moments for couples. That's why when someone goes above and beyond, it's important to shout it from the rooftops!
Recently I had a wedding at the Perez Art Museum and I strongly suggested that they do their rehearsal dinner and room block at the Mondrian Hotel, and that we work specifically with Shannon McKenna - the Director of Catering for the hotel.

To give you a sense of size, we had a welcome reception for hundred and twenty, a rehearsal dinner for sixty, a farewell brunch for eighty five, and over two hundred room night reservations. That is a LOT of personalities to work with. Shannon handle it all with grace and style. Little surprise and delights throughout the couples stay, and extra attention to the parents, Maid of Honor, and Best Man.

As with any wedding there is always some uncertainty as the big date comes, but Shannon constantly made herself available. But where things got really good is when the family and guests started to check in. There is nothing better to hear than "everyone here is so nice!" No matter what I need, or what the question, someone is always right there to help me.

Now if it had just been this one wedding, I might not be so passionate about Shannon and this hotel - but it's not. I have had several weddings and events at the Mondrian, and each time - it is exactly the same.

Great Location, Great Product, Excellent Food and Beverage, and a team the actually believes in excellence.

Standouts - Front Desk: Checking in that many guests in that short amount of time - Amazing
Food and Beverage: Chef through busboy - Food was always delicious, fresh, always hot (when appropriate), and I never once saw a guest have to search or look for anything. Space was always clean (on all three events) and on time.

AUGH - I wish I could give you even more stars.

What a great experience we had as we had our wedding ceremony and reception here. Shannon who booked everything for us along with Landy who helped with out with our guests that were staying at the hotel did an amazing job. The food was amazing, the room that we had our reception was perfect for our party. The Mondrian did a great job of separating us from the other hotel guests, the cocktail hour, the drinks I can't say enough. I highly recommend this location for your event and for your stay.

Hi fellow brides and grooms! Wow! I just got married at the Mondrian on 3.11.2023 and I had to write a review to share how special this experience was. As I was a destination bride and didn't have a planner until 6 weeks before, I really had to rely on the amazing, Shannon- the event coordinator a lot. She was so warm, informative and excited to help my husband and I every step of the way. The hotel itself is stunning- from the lobby, to the pool, the rooms, the sunsets, the VIEWS, I was constantly in awe of my experience. Do yourself a favor and reach out to Shannon!!! My guest were raving nonstop about their experience at our wedding!!!

This hotel accommodations and attention to our every detail was incredible , sunshine Gutierrez was amazing and always on point and everyone was all in making sure me and my bride had everything we asked for and more ! I dont think there are enough words to describe Olivia! She is sweet, professional, just overall amazing! She went above and beyond from tje moment she came on board. She ensured every detail/expectation I expected was met. She answered every single email on a timely manner, maintained great communication the entire time and is very organized and detailed. I can honestly say I don’t know what I would have done without her. The chef was incredible! The food at weddings is usually... not the greatest but OMG no one could stop talking about how great the food was. The appetizers, main course, and drinks! Carlos Velez - dir of catering and conference services at the Shelborne & Mondrian, nailed it. He is up for the challenge and supercedes all expectations. We had our wedding & reception on the Mondrian property. Leading up to and throughout the weekend, Carlos provided a hands on high touch productive approach that got the job done from all angles. He ensured all team leads and members did not miss a beat all weekend. We brought a 100 person group in from NY (tough critics ranging from 30-75 yrs old) and each one of my guests had the best weekend of their life and will not stop talking about the high class service, food, vibe and let's not forget the VIEW. With an unblocked panorama, you get sun all day, breathtaking sunsets and the stars in case you want to soak it up all night. Another major perk is the full service spa which can address most beauty and relaxation needs, as well as the food and beverage - with the on site restaurants and bars indoors and out, along with room service, you never have to leave. If you want to explore you need not go far, with the central location to nearby shopping, groceries, and eateries that are also super fresh and accessible for the daytime and into the late hours. Additionally, the group owns some nightlife properties, which they can help with access to.

This hotel and their wonderful staff really exceeded all of my expectations. The food is absolutely amazing. Their service during the planning and the event was absolutely fantastic. The Director of Catering Sales is extremely responsive and really made everything happen for us. I am really impressed by their service on top of their beautiful venue. I highly recommend this hotel to all brides looking for great food, great service, beautiful water and skyline views and FANTASTIC pictures.

Where you’ll host your wedding is such a big decision and truly sets the tone for what your event will end up being remembered for, our guests loved the hotel and venue space for our wedding. The food and service were beyond excellent and really made a difference in our experience!

We couldn’t have had such an amazing day without Pat our day of coordinator who works very closely with the hotel venue, I had the pleasure of working with Pat at Apple Event Productions as our Day of Coordinator and honestly our special day just wouldnt have been nearly as enjoyable without her and her team.

The reality is that no matter how organized you are, your wedding day is not the day to be doing anything yourself and sometimes letting go can be difficult but putting your trust in Pat and her team was easy once you get to speak with her and get the sense of how important you and your event are to her. Pat will go the extra mile for you (she quite literally ran down the hall full speed to get my bouquet for me after I forgot it and was ready to walk down the aisle) and will do it with such care and sincerity that it makes the experience that much better.

Aside from Day of Coordination, Apple event productions supplies the linens that are included in the package we chose. We had beautiful gold cutlery, gorgeous chairs and linens that truly elevated the look and feel of our event and made everything come together so beautifully.

Theres something to be said about working with people you can trust and have a good feeling about and can feel confident that they're there for you and not trying to take advantage of you. Even days after our event Pat has reached out to see how our honey moon went, a true testament to Apple Event Productions care and interest in you as a human and not just another customer.
