Rachel is a young professional with a lot of knowledge and fresh ideas! While I did a lot of my wedding planning on my own, Rachel was always available to take my call or text. There were many times when I had a certain concept in mind (decorations or themes) that I would let her know about and she would come back after doing research and give me ideas that captured exactly what I was trying to accomplish. She is very artistic and crafty and helped me with a number of DIY projects that otherwise could have cost me a fortune! She helped me with a lot of little decor details that made my reception extra special. She is a great listener, open minded and extremely friendly. She made my life a lot easier during the stressful couple of weeks right before the wedding and I felt comforted knowing that she was always available to help me with whatever I needed.

Melissa Young & Paramount Events became my savior after I (foolishly) tried to plan a wedding myself from the opposite side of the country. I live in Los Angeles, and was planning a summer wedding in Mystic, Connecticut (with less than 4 months to plan from start-to-finish, AND while working a demanding full-time job). Melissa was spectacular! She was patient, completely understanding of my situation, and easily understood my vision. Although my budget was challenging, with Melissa's connections & help she was able to secure deals that allowed me to have the "wedding of my dreams" at the budget I'd set for myself. Overall, she was incredibly organized & detailed, easy to communicate with, and able to understand and enhance my creative vision even from afar. Despite the fact that I was on the opposite side of the country & a 3 hours time difference throughout most of the planning process, it never seemed to matter: Melissa was always readily available, responsive, and able to be my "eyes & ears" when I was still in California. She picked out & designed all my flowers & tablescapes remotely (based on my references & our phone conversations), and they were PERFECT! She goes above & beyond to ensure that every need is met, and every detail taken care of. My husband & I both work in a Creative industry, and are very particular about "look" and design....and Melissa absolutely understands creative visions, no matter how complicated or unusual, and is able to execute them flawlessly. I was absolutely thrilled with the day, and I owe 100% of that to Melissa. She is a pro who clearly loves what she does, and has an eye for perfection!
