We loved working with Ranjith and found him to be incredibly professional and understanding. From the very first meeting, he put us at ease and was super easy to work with. He is extremely talented and was able to capture and highlight moments from our small wedding in San Jose this past summer. We loved all our wedding photos! Brittani was one of my favorite vendors to work with throughout our wedding planning process. She extremely charismatic, super communicative (absolutely GREAT about her email!), and was super efficient about getting the group shots done in a timely manner so that we could enjoy the cocktail hour with our guests. All photos were delivered in a timely fashion just as explained on her wedding website. The photos look amazing and not overly edited. Our couple portraits are the absolute best! Throughout our experience, Brittani added incredibly thoughtful touches, including a beautiful engraved USB with your entire wedding gallery. It has been an absolute joy to work with her!

I first met Bre over a video call and she was so kind and easy to talk to that I felt like our hour-long consultation went by so quickly. We did our engagement photoshoot at Filoli (I was running 30 minutes behind due to a last-minute hair & makeup addition), and they still waited for us on a VERY hot day, which I greatly appreciated. My husband and I were both a little nervous since neither one of us had done a professional photoshoot before, but Luke and Bre really made the two of us very comfortable the entire time, and we absolutely loved our engagement photos. Fast forward to our wedding day, they came in and knew exactly what to do since they've worked at our venue so many times before. I really liked how they weren't all up in our faces during our wedding, and I genuinely feel like I didn't notice them at all. As an events person myself, I absolutely loved the timeline that Bre sent over - it was so helpful to see the schedule for the day and every time I thought we were falling behind, Bre reassured us that we weren't. We received our wedding photos back in less than a month (so quick!) and I was surprised to receive over 1,600 photos. I remember going back and forth due to the price, but you do get the both of them (Luke and Bre) for 8 hours, and we actually added an additional hour as well so we could get photo coverage of our first dance. Although my husband's parents covered the cost of photography, I would've happily paid for it because of how incredible our photos came out, and our overall experience working with them. If you're debating on whether to book a photographer for your wedding, it's definitely worth checking out 1985Luke Photography - they'll capture memories that you'll able to cherish for a lifetime.

Abel shot our wedding in 2018 on the O'Neill Catamaran in Santa Cruz, CA. The results were fantastic despite the challenging venue. We felt that the great outcome stemmed from Abel's relaxed and enthusiastic attitude. He's also quite personable which helped put us at ease for both the posed and candid shots. That was a game changer on the big day. I would definitely recommend Abel Soria Photography for anyone's engagement and wedding photos.

Ray Sy is more than just a photographer, he is an ace designer and artist. We could not have been more pleased with the quality and variety of the photos. We had an enormous wedding party and Ray managed to cover every individual in the most flattering way. I could not recommend any photographer more highly - the product that we received from him was awesome, and all our friends agree with our assessment!

We couldn’t be happier with our decision to have Chris and Olivia capture our wedding day. They are the best! During the (oftentimes) chaotic process of planning a wedding, it’s reassuring to find a vendor you don’t have to worry about. After sitting down with Olivia for a consultation, we immediately knew we wanted to work with them. Her warm, welcoming attitude made us feel instantly comfortable. At the beginning of the engagement photo session, we felt awkward in front of the camera (as most couples probably do) but almost instantly, they both made us smile and forget there was even a camera there. And we had a blast. At the wedding, they coordinated seamlessly with our planner to make it through all of our planned photos, without feeling rushed and the photos came out perfectly. The formal shots were elegant, and the candid shots during the cocktail and reception perfectly captured the fun, loving atmosphere. Olivia & Chris are such a happy, energetic and positive couple they have the ability to make you feel relaxed and cheerful in any situation. There is no question in our minds that we made the right decision in selecting them to capture our wedding day and we will recommend them over and over again to everyone we know! 10/10!

Tara. Is. AWESOME! She not only made me feel comfortable on my wedding day, but was also able to produce wonderful photos of my day. There were so many pictures I didn't think of having but Tara knew what moments to capture. Thanh was amazing to work with. He responds quickly and even helped me select best proposal location and was very knowledgeable; exceeding my expectations for the proposal turn out. He was on time, flexible and partnered well with another company I hired to set up proposal scene. He also took a ton of photos at no extra charge. Photos came out amazing and his use of drone footage really elevates the moment! I would def recommend trusting him with any life event especially proposals.

During our search, we were looking for documentary-style photographers. Our venue was also somewhat dim, so it was especially important to us to find someone who works well with indoor lighting. We loved Eric’s portfolio and the way he mixes in heartfelt, glamorous, and whimsical moments. We asked him a bunch of questions during the intro call, mainly technical topics about photography, and we were impressed with his experience and thought process regarding different lighting environments. On the day of the event, before the couple’s portraits, Eric spent a few hours scoping out the area for prime photography spots. It was a huge help, because he took into account factors like the angle of the sun and the crowdedness of the area to make sure my husband and I had a great experience. We did a few posed shots, and as someone who’s never posed for photography before, I loved how relaxed Eric made us feel, and we had a lot of laughs where we almost forgot there was a camera around. Our full gallery arrived super speedily, and we couldn’t have asked for more. Every shot either tugged at our heartstrings or made us laugh. My husband also does photography and was super happy with the composition and lighting. We’re so thankful for all the hard work Eric put into making our wedding as memorable and meaningful as it could be. So if anyone’s looking for a photographer, I highly recommend Eric!
