During our search, we were looking for documentary-style photographers. Our venue was also somewhat dim, so it was especially important to us to find someone who works well with indoor lighting. We loved Eric’s portfolio and the way he mixes in heartfelt, glamorous, and whimsical moments. We asked him a bunch of questions during the intro call, mainly technical topics about photography, and we were impressed with his experience and thought process regarding different lighting environments.

On the day of the event, before the couple’s portraits, Eric spent a few hours scoping out the area for prime photography spots. It was a huge help, because he took into account factors like the angle of the sun and the crowdedness of the area to make sure my husband and I had a great experience. We did a few posed shots, and as someone who’s never posed for photography before, I loved how relaxed Eric made us feel, and we had a lot of laughs where we almost forgot there was a camera around.

Our full gallery arrived super speedily, and we couldn’t have asked for more. Every shot either tugged at our heartstrings or made us laugh. My husband also does photography and was super happy with the composition and lighting. We’re so thankful for all the hard work Eric put into making our wedding as memorable and meaningful as it could be.

Inspired By Studio made us feel like movie stars! They capture each and every precious moment and were kind and patient with all our guests at our wedding. The teaser video and extended video was everything we wanted and more and had a super quick turnaround! The transitions between the speeches and events were smooth and made it so there was no awkwardness at all. It brought back so many memories and also gives us so much more to look back at for years to come, thank you!

We truly enjoyed working with Thien and Eric for our engagement shoot, and later with Thien, Dave, Duy, and Steve for our wedding day! They were all so chill and funny, we just felt comfortable and able to relax. We already knew we picked a great team during our engagement shoot, where they went all out! They were carrying lights on a narrow canyon hike, figured out great shots up and down the trail with constantly changing light conditions and tree cover, and setting up everything for a nighttime pool shoot as well. All of our family joined in the fun, and we’ve all now got gorgeous photos for display, greeting cards, professional profiles, and of course our wedding website and stationery.

For our wedding day itself, everyone showed up on time and kept us hydrated and on schedule. Thien (purposefully?) wore pants with large stretchy pockets so he could help hold everyone’s phones during photos, and he happily took photos with those phones too. This was especially key as we were trying to get all the various family groupings from our photo shot list done! It all went by in a blur, but we felt incredibly relaxed relying on Inspired By Studio to capture all of the moments of our special day. A couple weeks later, we received a surprise teaser video as a fun extra, what a delight! It captured the joy of the day perfectly. Looking forward to the fuller package soon, we’re confident we will enjoy reliving the memories through the photos & videos for decades to come.

My husband and I absolutely loved working with Eric! We had a small family ceremony at SF City Hall.

Before our ceremony, Eric was easy to communicate with and very responsive.

On the day of our ceremony, it was our first time in front of a camera (we hadn't even done engagement photos). Eric made us feel very comfortable, and took some really unique shots that I can't wait to enlarge and frame. If you look at his portfolio, it's easy to see that he has an eye for capturing amazing candid moments, as well as more traditional posed photos. More importantly, he jokes around with you and makes you feel relaxed - a real treat when you're stressing about a million other things on your wedding day! If you're getting overwhelmed by all the options, just stop thinking and go with Eric. It is honestly a no brainer.

We used Eric Le Photography for both engagement photos and our wedding day. Worth it! Eric and his team are talented, professional, and fun. They have an eye for great shots. I'm not a very good model, but Eric knows exactly what he's doing and will help you along the way. He made us feel very comfortable. Modeling for a photos can seem odd for the amateur model, but just trust him, your photos will turn out great.

He's also extremely patient. We had a million family photos to take after our ceremony (during cocktail hour) and various family members were running in and out of the shot while other family members were trying to take photos on their phones, but he never complained once and never ever made us feel rushed. He really knows how to go with the flow and works with you and your schedule.

His team is worth every penny. I would recommend him for your engagement, wedding, or any other event/photography needs.

Eric is a great photographer. Not only does he do engagement or wedding day shoots, but he does families, and babies too! He is very friendly and kind. He is willing to work around your schedule and is understanding if you're running late. He has an amazing eye for taking beautiful pictures and is very patient in trying to get the right shot at the right moment, no matter how long it takes. He was able to provide some locations where we could take engagement photos and they turned out amazing! I wasn't expecting the photo canvas he provided to be so breathtaking! He goes above and beyond and was just wonderful to work with. His second shooter was also very friendly and fun to work with. Together as a team, they made my wedding experience so memorable. I'd definitely recommend him to all my friends and family and use him again in the future, if I ever needed a photographer.
