Lauren was a last minute booking for us, as the pandemic made us cancel our big SoCal wedding in favor of a safer backyard microwedding in San Jose. Despite how little time we had to book her and plan around the awful forest fires that were happening at the time, she was sweet, flexible, and overall a really great fit for us. She had an amazing value for a 2 hour photo session, which worked perfect for us as our elopement had no need for a traditional 6 hour/2 photographer wedding day shoot. Her turnaround time was super quick, and we even received sneak peeks just a few days later! Thanks so much, Lauren, for capturing our day. Would recommend!

Above and beyond!
Lauren was so incredibly awesome! We decided to go through with our destination wedding ceremony out in the Californian redwood forest regardless of the Covid-19 pandemic. One week prior to our departure, we found out that our venue was no longer able to host our event due to new internal guidelines. We were heart broken of course and reached out to Lauren, who we had booked for our photographer. Lauren did some research and provided us with a few different options that might still give us our dream wedding. Because of her suggestions, we were able to have the ceremony we envisioned. Not only was she so helpful during that stressful time, but the direction she provided and the quality of her photos captured the enchantment of our special day. We couldn’t be happier with how things turned out and Lauren’s willingness to go above and beyond our expectations.

Lauren is awesomeeee
You know those light, airy, whimsical, perfectly lit photos that you dream of for your engagement session or wedding? That’s Lauren. I opened our album after the engagement session and couldn’t believe how perfect each photo was and how magical the evening light became in front of her lens. Lauren is sweet, patient, communicative, and creative and she made everything look and feel so natural with clear directions on where to put our hands, where to look, how to move. Even though she could place us so perfectly for each photo, she also caught natural moments in between which made the album feel so true to us and so candid. We brought my Fiancé’s guitar (because he and I fell in love through music) and she helped us to incorporate that into some really sweet shots also. I’m still so excited about all of the photos and plan to frame as many of them as I can in our new home 😍 HIRE LAUREN. SHE’S THE BEST.

In a single word: incredible
Lauren was the sweetest photographer ever. She was really patient. I’m a very picky girl so I sent her so many figures that I wanted to have the similar picture of. She patiently told me and my fiancé what to do and the results came out beautifully. She also is very talented and doesn’t capture fake, emotionless photos. Her photography will talk through your emotions.😍😍she’s the best.

The BEST photographer
My fiancé and I had a BLAST working with Lauren for our engagement shoot (and will work with her for our wedding in 2021). I also worked with Lauren for my graduation photos! She is incredibly fun to work with and gave us great cues and poses that we felt comfortable with. She includes movement in her photos, which really help add depth to the photos as well (and helps us be more comfortable in front of the camera). I love her bright and airy editing style. She was also very easy to communicate with and open to so many of our opinions! I would 100% recommend Lauren for your next photoshoot!
