From the very beginning, Dewey (Duy) was incredibly responsive and professional. I initially contacted him through Yelp and received a prompt reply right away, which immediately gave me confidence in working with his team.
The DJs and sound system were fantastic. They took the time to understand our preferences and tailored the music and entertainment to match both our style and the demographics of our guests, creating an enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.
Our emcee, Michelle (Quynh Lan), was absolutely amazing. Fluent in both English and Vietnamese, she kept the energy high and engaged our guests throughout the evening. The games she hosted were fun, interactive, and thoughtfully designed to involve a large portion of the guests. Unlike some wedding games that only entertain a few participants, Michelle made sure everyone felt included and had a great time.

Duy managed the entire event with utmost professionalism. He guided the evening so smoothly, creating a flow that was incredibly gentle, romantic, and elegant. My sister, who owns Chantelle Fleur Design, told me about Duy and how amazing he is. Although I had never met him in person, I trusted her recommendation because she has worked on countless weddings throughout Southern California and considers him the best in the business.
Our wedding was unique. My husband's family is from the East Coast, and I'm from California. We had only 49 guests, and I knew it would be much more difficult to entertain and captivate a smaller crowd than a large one. Because of that, we wanted the very best.
Anh Duy did not disappoint.
He officiated our ceremony and made it heartfelt, personal, and meaningful. During the reception, he captivated every single guest from start to finish with his incredible presence, professionalism, and speaking skills. Many people think it's easier to entertain a crowd of 50 than 500, but in reality, keeping the energy high and engaging every guest in an intimate setting is extremely challenging. Anh Duy made it look effortless. He knew exactly how to read the room, connect with our guests, and create the perfect atmosphere throughout the evening.
And let's not forget DJ Austin. He somehow managed to keep all 49 guests on the dance floor until the very end of the night. That alone speaks volumes about his talent and ability to read the crowd.

His ability to engage the crowd, his bilingual skills, and his attention to detail made all the difference. The music by DJ Austin and DJ Brandon was perfectly tailored to our style and preferences, keeping the dance floor packed all night long. The flow of the event was seamless from beginning to end.

I found out about Anh Duy at a friend's wedding in 2019. Being fluently in Vietnamese myself, I came home that night and told my dad I had just witnessed the best MC I had ever seen, telling him if I ever got married, Anh Duy had to be the MC. Fast forward to our own wedding planning, hiring Anh Duy became an absolute non-negotiable before we even had a venue!
For us, having an MC who could fluently transition between Vietnamese and English was essential. My side was from the West Coast, my husband's family from the East Coast, and nearly half our guests were non-Vietnamese. Anh Duy made every single person feel included. His body language, tonality, and natural energy created a room where the language barrier slowly melted away, and by the end of the night every generation and every background was on the dance floor together.
His team is incredibly professional. They sent a detailed spreadsheet ahead of time, asked about our guest demographics, and tailored the games to our crowd. That preparation showed in every moment of the night.
What moved us most was how he handled the family introductions, something deeply meaningful in Vietnamese culture. To this day, our grandparents still talk about how honored and loved they felt that night.
I'll end this by saying someone once told us that guests will not remember your centerpieces or DIY signage. What they will remember is how much fun they had. As a recent bride, I now believe that completely. I do not remember a single DIY. What I remember is Anh Duy calling our guests out to the dance floor for a welcome shot together. I remember Anh Duy hyping the crowd for the grand entrance, and seeing my 80 year old Vietnamese aunty twirling her napkin in the air, dancing to Pitbull. I remember Anh Duy leading us through a full dance battle weaving down every table with our guests. And how he wrangled 270 guests seamlessly to the dance floor for a group picture that ended the night in hours of dancing.
And if you would like to remember moments like these for the rest of your life, Anh Duy is the MC for the biggest night of yours.

Luckily for us, Dewey was available for our date! He took the time out to get to know us as a couple and know what we wanted for our wedding and what people were going to be at our wedding. He was very thorough about the vibe curation and it all paid off!
Dewey perfectly honored the culture of our families and successfully integrated our American culture, by understanding the meanings behind the wedding schedule (seamlessly integrating chao ban into the schedule, making sure to have space for family introductions, etc) and effortlessly switching between fluent Vietnamese and English. He kept the energy going all night.
DJ Austin and DJ Cody read the room so well, our guests were dancing and out of their seats before the second course even came out. The dance floor was PACKED until closing 😭 day of our lives and it could not have happened without Dewey and his team. Cannot praise Dewey and AAA Entertainment enough!
