Troy went way above and beyond our expectations for our wedding DJ. My wife and I are a little older, and our wedding guests were all between the ages of 30 & 80. During the calls prior to the wedding, Troy took our ideas & suggestions and curated the PERFECT song list and experience for us. He incorporated our favorite band(s) into the evening in incredibly special ways. He kept evening flowing and the dance floor full with very little effort and interaction. We HIGHLY recommend him!!!

If you want a wedding DJ who absolutely understands the assignment, TNT Entertainment—and specifically DJ Troy—is the one.

From the start, Troy was incredible to work with—professional, organized, and genuinely invested in making our day feel so us. He took the time to understand our vibe, our must-play songs, our “please never play this under any circumstances” list (equally important), and somehow blended it all into the perfect soundtrack for the night.

And then the wedding hit… and he absolutely delivered.

The dance floor was PACKED. The entire night. I’m talking all ages, all levels of dance ability, just fully committed. He has this amazing ability to read the room and keep the energy exactly where it needs to be—every transition was seamless, every song felt like the right choice at the right moment.

Beyond the music, he kept everything flowing so smoothly. From introductions to speeches to special dances, he struck that perfect balance of being engaging without ever overdoing it. No awkward moments, no lulls—just a really fun, effortless-feeling night.

We had so many guests tell us it was one of the most fun weddings they’ve been to, and a huge part of that was the energy Troy created.

If you want a DJ who keeps your timeline on track, your guests dancing, and your whole night feeling like one big celebration—you can’t go wrong here.

Troy was an amazing D.J. I hired him to do the music for my daughter and her husband’s wedding and reception. He worked with them on music selection and stayed with the music they chose. He even took requests throughout the night which the guests loved. Everyone was on their feet dancing the whole night! The energy was enthusiastic and you could tell that Troy genuinely loves what he does. He has a happy and friendly personality which makes him a pleasure to work with. I will absolutely use Troy in the future for any big event!

I’m so glad we booked Troy for our wedding last summer! He was so responsive and easy to work with, and our wedding was the party we always hoped it would be! Troy read the room perfectly and kept everyone on the dance floor. Can’t recommend him enough!

If you’re looking for a San Diego wedding DJ, Troy from TNT Entertainment is absolutely the best choice! If I could give Troy more than five stars, I absolutely would. From start to finish, he was not only an incredible DJ but also one of the most professional vendors we worked with for our wedding.
Troy truly went above and beyond. In many ways, it even felt like he was helping coordinate the wedding because he kept everything running smoothly and on schedule. He reminded everyone about speech times, guided the flow of the evening, and made sure every moment transitioned perfectly.
He even arrived earlier than expected and took the initiative to connect speakers so our officiant could use a microphone during the ceremony. This was not something we had hired him to do—he simply saw a need and stepped in to help. That level of professionalism and awareness meant so much to us.
At one point, the ceremony started a little later than planned and the mariachi band we had hired beforehand had to take a break. Instead of leaving an awkward silence, Troy stepped in and started playing music to keep the atmosphere warm and welcoming. These were the kinds of thoughtful decisions he made throughout the day—constantly reading the room and making sure everything felt smooth, joyful, and seamless.
He also set up our photo booth, which was a huge hit with our guests. The attendant working with him was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the kids absolutely loved it. It created such a fun environment and added another special element to the celebration.
Most importantly, Troy created an amazing energy throughout the entire reception. He read the crowd perfectly, had a fantastic selection of music, and kept our guests on the dance floor all night. People are still telling us how much fun they had and how great the music and atmosphere were.
Looking back, hiring the right DJ was one of the most important decisions we made for our wedding—and Troy was truly the biggest asset in creating such a wonderful celebration.

Working with DJ Troy was one of the easiest parts of our wedding planning. His communication was top-notch, and he always got back to us quickly whenever we had questions. He kept things simple, stayed within our budget, and kept the energy going throughout the reception. Highly recommend!

Troy and his team were such a fun company/ vendor to have a part of our big day! We also rented a Photo Booth and had such a wonderful time. Troy was very attentive to everything we planned and he checked in on us multiple times leading up to our big day and we couldn’t ask for a better experience with our wedding DJ!

DJ Troy was AWESOME!!! I had friends and family coming up to me DURING our wedding telling me how great our DJ was! He was so easy to work with and really listened to what was important to me. I wanted Vitamin String Quartet before the ceremony, 70’s during cocktail hour and dinner, and then 2000’s throwback during dancing. We also were getting married where they filmed Top Gun and he had some great suggestions from the movie soundtrack! We also asked one of our friends to sing during our wedding and he seamlessly worked with her to create the vision of my dreams. She doesn’t do weddings so I know it was seamless because of DJ Troy! He was also so great about our “No Play List”, and anything that the guests requested that he wasn’t sure about required my permission! Loved it! His M.O. was all about making us happy, and he 100% succeeded! We also got a photobooth through the package we chose! The guests loved it! We had ALL ages be happy at our wedding and a rocking dance floor!

Troy was amazing at my wedding! He had the right amount of engaging the crowd without being too much. He did a great job of reading the dance floor and mixing up songs based off of the mood of our guests. He listened to my suggestions during our meetings, and ran with it. We had so many guests complement our DJ and even recommended Troy to friends of theirs that were getting married. I am so happy I chose Troy. You won't be disappointed!
