Pat Connolly with Sound Prodigy was excellent. I want to speak specifically to the coordination piece, because I think it gets undersold when people review DJs.

Our venue had a hard 10 p.m. music cutoff and a county decibel limit, which is the kind of constraint that can quietly wreck a reception. Pat knew about both before I brought them up, worked with the venue staff on levels, and still delivered a night that felt loud and alive. He was in sync with our coordinator and our photo team on every formality, so the first dance, the toasts, and the cake happened exactly when they were supposed to and everyone was in position.

He is also just a professional to deal with. Prompt on email, no upselling, no drama, no surprises on the invoice. His announcements were clear and he never turned the reception into a show about himself. Highly recommend.

Pat was absolutely amazing as our wedding DJ! He was professional, organized, and so easy to work with from start to finish. He played an incredible mix of songs that kept the dance floor full all night, even with guests of all different ages. Everyone had a great time, and we’ve received so many compliments about the music.

If you're reading this review, congratulations, you can stop your wedding DJ search! DJ Pat is without a doubt the man you are going to want to keep the party going on your special day. We hired Pat for both our ceremony and our reception and he completely knocked it out of the park all day long.

The app that he provides his clients makes it SO EASY to setup the songs you want to play and even lets you put together a schedule for the day, which we found to be incredibly useful during planning. On the day of the wedding, Pat showed up early to setup his equipment at two different sites and because he is a professional, he didn't need to worry us with questions about where things needed to go.

Thanks to Pat, our day went as smoothly as we could have dreamed. He delighted guests at our ceremony with his extensive backlog of lovely instrumental music, even some really niche ones. He also provided a microphone for our officiant so no one had to shout as our ceremony was outdoors. Then during cocktail hour, dinner, and finally open dance, he kept the party going with suggestions we added to his app, requests from our guests, and his own surprises that he tailored to us as a couple.

We seriously cannot recommend DJ Pat enough. Thanks to him, our wedding day was truly magical.

DJ Pat was the second vendor we booked and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! From our first conversation, Pat only wanted to be helpful to us, whether we booked with him or not. He had suggestions for vendors in the area and bent over backward to get us everything we needed for our big day in the price range we needed. Leading up to our event, we had several meetings scheduled with him to go over things and to get us set up with his super easy and helpful app for picking our music. What I loved about the app is that it had a spot to add all of the major songs we needed as well as music we hadn’t even thought about needing to pick out (cocktail hour music hadn’t even crossed my mind). It also had a section for must play songs and slow songs. All of the music was easy to add from Spotify, YouTube or other apps! My husband and I were pretty quick to add our dancing and cocktail music, but moved very slowly when adding our ceremony music because we kept second guessing our decision. Pat was very helpful here and kept our final song selection open an extra few days so we could make our final decision. The day of our wedding, everything went absolutely perfectly! From the ceremony to the reception, Pat made sure that all of the music and sound in general ran smoothly and seamlessly. I had many guests come up to me during and after the reception to comment on how amazing our DJ was. My husband and I cannot recommend DJ Pat enough; he made our day so special! (Definitely get the photobooth, it was one of my favorite parts!)
