Renesha is the absolute best!!!! My husband and I hired her as our day-of coordinator for our wedding on July 5th, 2025. Without a doubt, she made the day run smoothly and flawlessly. She was organized and composed and was the driving force behind everything. Our family members still have not stopped raving about how she just made everything go along flawlessly. And, to boot, her personality is just amazing and so reassuring. We cannot recommend her enough!

I don’t even know where to begin! I had planned my entire wedding, I just needed someone to take care of the final details of putting my vision together and keeping in contact with the vendors and Renesha exceeded my expectations.
Renesha and her team truly took care of everything from helping come up with a timeline and any last minute changes. This made my wedding day completely smooth and stress-free! She was very professional, paid attention to all details, and has a great personality which definitely helped as well. We hired day-of coordination services for our fall wedding with U Deserve An Awesome Day, and Renesha did an incredible job! Although we had taken care most of the big wedding planning items (e.g., selecting our vendors), we wanted some extra hands-on support the day-of to minimize any additional stress during the event. Renesha was always incredibly responsive to any questions we would have, and despite some big changes less than one week out from the wedding due to inclement weather, Renesha did a great job in adjusting and executing our rain plan. Even when there was an unexpected surprise at our wedding (essentially an awesome marching band my FIL booked secretly) that Renesha was unaware of, she was able to roll with the punches and adjust the schedule. Given the price of her services (which was more cost-effective than any other vendor that met my criteria), she did an amazing job and I would happily recommend her services to my friends.

The only issue that we ran into is that Renesha was unable to attend our rehearsal dinner because she had another wedding already scheduled on that day. However, at the point in which I had hired her services, I had not finalized a date for the rehearsal dinner, so that's not her fault. I would recommend if it's important that your DOC is present for the rehearsal dinner, to have a date carved out in your initial consultation, and to confirm if she will be available to support both events. Instead, Renesha and I scheduled a video call ahead of the dinner where we ran through how to execute the rehearsal, which was more than enough.

I am a bit of a party planning control freak that was on a 90 day timeline, 100+ person wedding, and 4 additional wedding related events over that weekend. I interviewed a number of planners and Renesha was the only one that asked me "What can I do for you to make your day run smoothly?" This was important for me because so many other just listed off what they would do for me, taking no consideration on what I really needed. I needed someone who could decorate the venue, make sure everything stayed on time, make sure we ate and cut the cake for the guests. When I say we stayed on time it was to the minute! We got to eat while the guests were eating and talked to every single guest at least once! Everyone spoke highly of our wedding afterwards and many mentioned how well Renesha and her team managed the experience for them as well. Thank you!

Renesha was so helpful and professional as our day-of coordinator. We could not possibly have coordinated all the moving pieces of our wedding on our own and it was a huge weight off our shoulders to have Renesha on our team!

When we began planning our wedding, we were on the fence about hiring a coordinator but I can say with 100% certainty it is the way to go!! We hired Renesha a few months into our planning process when we already had most of our other vendors hired and basic wedding day details figured out. Renesha was super helpful in recommending vendors that we still needed and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing day. She checked in with us every month to confirm that we were on track and remind us of tasks we needed to work on so by time the month of the wedding rolled around we were basically done planning! She came with us to venue visits and made sure our vision was perfectly executed. The day of the wedding was smooth sailing. She handled little day of conflicts with ease and so we didn't even know it was happening! I'm still receiving compliments from guests about how smoothly the day went on. I cannot thank Renesha enough, and I cannot imagine how the day would have gone without her. If you are on the fence about hiring a coordinator, DO IT!
U Deserve an Awesome Day is the best!

Renesha was so helpful during our wedding. We hired her and her assistant as our day of coordinators. They were well prepared when they arrived, checked in with us frequently to keep everything running smooth, and helped us have an amazing wedding weekend!

My fiancé and I hired Renesha as a day of coordinator. Renesha is a nice person. Personality initially meshed well with who we are. She was also very attentive up to the day of the wedding.

But I don't think it would be fair to say things went perfectly. It fell apart the day of the wedding. The biggest issue we had w/ the coordinator is that we were not consulted for major decisions that happened the day of the wedding We both should have been made aware of what was happening, but also certain decisions should have been ours alone. Not the coordinator's. Renesha changed the wedding procession last minute just before the wedding. Instead of the bridal party coming out two at a time across a long field for the ceremony, they were sent out one at a time. This caused an issue with music. The one song (the same exact song) initially intended for the bridal procession needed to be played three times in a row to cover a much longer entrance.

Also, guests were allowed to enter the venue prior to the outdoor ceremony. The patio outside was shaded, and there were plenty of trees in the yard for the half hour before the ceremony, but guests were invited into the venue interrupting preparations. The bride had to stay inside of the bridal suite to keep from being seen, though she was responsible for much of our wedding decor. Guests were supposed to be outside prior to the ceremony. The decision to bring guests into the venue was made by Renesha w/ no consultation with us. Guests were walking freely into the bridal suite and groom station before the ceremony. We later found out that this led to people who were not a part of the wedding entering the building, a historic site. These two people came looking for the officiant, and they were requesting money (told to us by MIL). Renesha claims this call to open the doors was made because it was hot, but this call increased our incidences of liability with the venue, gave us no down time prior to the wedding, and both the ceremony and the cocktail hour was outside anyhow. We do not understand why the weather would have been so awful that attendees show up while preparations for the reception were being made indoors.

No one caught that our caterer had delivered paper plates for the ceremony, instead of the fancy plates that had been ordered. Because the venue was flooded with attendees, the bride and groom were unable to see this as well. Renesha did have DJ information, but she did not have catering information. I do think this was an oversight. We dined on black paper plates for our wedding.


There was a big meeting (about an hour and a half in length) that was held with our caterer and the manager of our venue prior to the wedding. We moved the timing of this meeting more than once trying to lock Renesha in on it, She was unable to attend this meeting, though she did come to a shorter meeting just before the wedding that involved the DJ. If she'd made this meeting or phoned into it, many of these issues we had may not have existed.
Actual rating is not perfect. We would say about 2-3 stars. This review stands in place of a prior one. We just wanted to share our story.

Renesha & her partner was awesome, and they made our day wonderful. I recommend anyone to use U Deserve An Awesome Day.

Renesha is the best wedding planner! She is direct, organized and a hard worker. She was always willing to help answer any questions I had. She was able to execute my vision to the tee and adapted well when changes needed to be made day of. Her experience made the process seamless and everything went off without a hitch, which was amazing considering all the moving parts that went into the wedding. Everything was perfect! I would recommend Renesha in a heartbeat to any bride looking for a wedding planner!
