Renesha is the absolute best!!!! My husband and I hired her as our day-of coordinator for our wedding on July 5th, 2025. Without a doubt, she made the day run smoothly and flawlessly. She was organized and composed and was the driving force behind everything. Our family members still have not stopped raving about how she just made everything go along flawlessly. And, to boot, her personality is just amazing and so reassuring. We cannot recommend her enough! -

I am a bit of a party planning control freak that was on a 90 day timeline, 100+ person wedding, and 4 additional wedding related events over that weekend. I interviewed a number of planners and Renesha was the only one that asked me "What can I do for you to make your day run smoothly?" This was important for me because so many other just listed off what they would do for me, taking no consideration on what I really needed. I needed someone who could decorate the venue, make sure everything stayed on time, make sure we ate and cut the cake for the guests. When I say we stayed on time it was to the minute! We got to eat while the guests were eating and talked to every single guest at least once! Everyone spoke highly of our wedding afterwards and many mentioned how well Renesha and her team managed the experience for them as well. Thank you! -

Renesha is the best wedding planner! She is direct, organized and a hard worker. She was always willing to help answer any questions I had. She was able to execute my vision to the tee and adapted well when changes needed to be made day of. Her experience made the process seamless and everything went off without a hitch, which was amazing considering all the moving parts that went into the wedding. Everything was perfect! I would recommend Renesha in a heartbeat to any bride looking for a wedding planner! -

She was able to keep me focus on being a Bride while she handled all EVERYTHING else. My wedding turned out beautifully organized because of her. I would recommend her to anyone. She is a strong effective advocate when you are dealing with issues with other vendors. The most impressive quality about her is that she is next level calm when things get stressful. Hiring Renesha was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day. Since the first day of contact, she was very prompt with responding to emails and very flexible. I hired Renesha towards the middle of my planning stages and my only regret is that I didn’t hire her sooner. After our initial consultation meeting I didn’t meet with any other wedding planners and booked her on the spot, because her energy was so welcoming and warming that I knew I didn’t need to look further. She became more like family than a wedding planner and was able to help me with the biggest to the smallest details…i.e. bringing in extra help to assist the children in the wedding party, arranging wedding transportation,coordinating with all of the vendors and making sure they are all on the same page, and recommending awesome vendors for all my other needs. Renesha has a very calm, confident, and reassuring demeanor and on the actual day of the wedding, she did not disappoint. I personally had so many little decorations and decor for my wedding day and was so worried something would be forgotten, but she executed the layout of everything, flawlessly. She also executed the process of our rehearsal to perfection, making sure every attendant knew exactly what to do for the wedding day. If you are looking for a wedding planner that treats you like family, reassures you during times of stress, and has affordable prices do not look anything future than U Deserve An Awesome Day. -

My fiancé and I hired Renesha as a day of coordinator. I will go through the good and the not so good.
Here's the good: She brought an arbor to the celebration and decorated it beautifully. She sent reminders monthly. And during the wedding, there was a brilliant moment where everyone was brought onto the dance floor via a fun game.
However, I don't think it would be fair to my husband or myself to say things went perfectly. The biggest issue I had was that we were not consulted for major decision that happened the day of the wedding. I spoke to my husband. Renesha did not consult him for many of these decisions, and I (the bride) was not consulted at all.
Renesha changed the wedding procession last minute just before the wedding. She decided ( for OUR wedding) that the arrangement needed to be changed. Instead, of the bridal party coming out two at a time across a long field for the ceremony as planned, they were sent out one at a time. This caused an issue with music. The one song (the same exact song) initially intended for the bridal procession needed to be played three times in a row to cover a much longer entrance.
Also, guests were allowed to enter the venue prior to the outdoor ceremony. I had to stay inside of the bridal suite to keep from being seen, though I was responsible for much of our wedding decor. Guests were supposed to be outside prior to the ceremony, though the reception was outdoors. The weather was beautiful. I was not made aware of this decision. It was made by Renesha.
No one caught that our caterer had delivered paper plates for the ceremony, instead of the fancy plates that had been ordered. Because the venue was flooded with attendees, I was unable to see this as well.
Renesha did have DJ information, but she did not have catering information. I do think this was an oversight. A big one. We dined on black paper plates for our wedding.
The ceremony itself was missing quite a few people, up to entire rows of people. I would have liked to have been notified on this. Even if it's not in the DOC job description to place chairs or to remove them, we may have taken just a few more minutes to wait to begin the ceremony. Again, the coordinator made that call. She said in her response that the rows were empty due to family. No one, not one family member, was in those rows at any point during that ceremony.
There was a big meeting (about an hour and a half in length) that was had with our caterer and the manager of our venue prior to the wedding. We moved the timing of this meeting more than once trying to lock Renesha into it. She was unable to attend it. If she's made this meeting or phoned into it, many of these issues we had might not have existed.
My actual rating is 3 stars. She did cover a few things we were not aware of, such as a neighbor showing up and complaining about our music. But, honestly, it was no big deal according to the site manager.
My husband choosing not to skate had no affect on the wedding. He always maintained that it was a fun idea that was contingent on his energy the day of the wedding. If anything, him not skating made the schedule easier.
My biggest issue here... not being consulted. All she had to do was talk to us. BOTH of us. I was left out decisions for my own wedding.
