Kim and Travis were nothing short of wonderful throughout both our engagement shoot and wedding day. They were resourceful (it rained!) and discreet - getting beautiful genuine shots of our families, while guiding us through some beautiful shots for our portraits. And the photos truly show just how exceptional they are at their craft. Can't say enough positive things about them. I'd work with them again in a heartbeat.

Calen Rose is fantastic. My family has worked with Travis and team on several occasions including a 30th birthday party and an engagement party (both ~150 attendees). Travis and his team are EXCELLENT in every respect:

1) the photos are exceptional--throughout the evening, Travis and team successfully capture the entire room and make sure all attendees are photographed. Most importantly, Travis blends into the crowd and does not disrupt the flow at all, while still capturing the key moments

2) great attitude--particularly when it comes to organizing large crowds / family, Travis was extremely patient, flexible, and understanding. His team has a raw talent for capturing the moments with creative flair (i.e., not standard, cliche shots)

3) terrific service--the team processes the photos expeditiously and sends the final set within a matter of weeks

4) affordable--prices are in-line with the market. Perhaps more importantly, the turnaround time, quality of work, and pleasure of working with Travis and team make the price well worth it!

I would highly recommend working with Calen Rose. They are on the top of my list for any event, big or small, where we need a photographer. Also, although our contract was technically for a set period of time, the team was willing to stay a little bit extra to make sure they caught the end of the party--truly top notch.
