We loved having our wedding at the Tides Inn. The vibe fit us perfectly. Elegant and yet not overly fancy. We loved having our guests be able to stay at the venue where we were having both the wedding and reception. Ally in their event staff was fabulous! She was responsive and very organized. All of the other staff around the hotel made us feel welcome and special the whole weekend. All of the set ups for our evening reception by the beach on Friday, the wedding on the lawn, and the reception room were all perfect and exactly as discussed during planning. We really could not have asked for a more perfect venue and Ally did a great job helping us through all of the planning.

Our wedding day was absolutely amazing!! It was a fairy tail wedding and I couldn't have asked for a better day. The staff at the Tides Inn were nothing but professional and wonderful.

Our wedding is this summer so I will update my review at that time post the event. Working with The Tides thus far in planning my wedding has been a pleasure. I live in London and so it has not been the easiest task planning from abroad. I signed the contract with The Tides site-unseen (in full disclosure, my fiance had been there many times but not for a while). I was comfortable doing this based on my level of interaction and trust in the people I had been working with at The Tides. My fiance and I asked probably well over 100 questions, some very specific and detailed, of both the Director of Catering and Conference Services and the Director of Sales. They were responsive, very helpful, and patient, despite the number of questions we kept sending through. They were also flexible and willing to work with us to make it so that we were able to have the wedding at The Tides.

My wedding was June 18th, and The Tides certainly deserves 5 stars in all of the categories. If I could give them more stars, I would. My husband and I truly could not have been happier with our entire wedding weekend, start to finish, all of which was held at the resort, including rehearsal dinner, welcome party, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, reception, and brunch. Everyone at The Tides really did everything they could to make the weekend exactly as we wanted.

A few specific points about The Tides and the staff which helped make our wedding more than memorable include, but are definitely not limited to, 1) their patience and responsiveness, 2) flexibility, 3) variety of spaces to be used, 4) quality of the food, and 5) the wonderful staff.

We absolutely loved our wedding weekend at the Tides Inn! Choosing the Tides Inn was easy for us: we wanted to be on the water, we wanted a place where our guests could have a weekend to enjoy themselves, and we loved that the bride's grandparents vacationed here for over twenty years. We had a 3-day event with a welcome dinner on the beach Friday night, our wedding ceremony on the croquet lawn followed by the reception in the Cove Room on Saturday afternoon, and a farewell brunch overlooking the water on Sunday morning. All of the spaces were beautiful, especially the beach and croquet lawn, and we loved staying in the huge Lee Suite where our friends could come visit us. We also had several guests come by boat! Our guests and family members loved the relaxing weekend and beautiful venue, as well as all the activities on site. We loved the relaxed but classy vibe, and we can't wait to come back for our anniversaries, and to bring our children in the future!

It was a bit stressful as our wedding was on a hurricane weekend and I wasn't sure what our other options were. Although a bit frustrated because we can't predict the future weather, Charity and Laurie were great helpers in creating our special day, regardless of the weather. Some hiccups in the day due to mother nature but all-in-all, the day went off without a hitch. The rehearsal dinner room that we rented was being used (weird?) but it all worked out for the best because we loved our 2nd options sooo much more. beautiful and perfect 180 degree view of the river. For any future brides out there, communication is key. Also ask the small questions and never forget to make a list of everything that belongs to you so it is returned to you. Always ask what your other options are in case incremental weather happens on your day. And don't forget to take some extra time out and take your wedding pictures out of the pier. To die for photos! We can't wait to spend our one-year anniversary there!!

The Tides Inn is a remarkable wedding venue and they went above and beyond to serve our needs. They were there for us from the beginning and always available to meet with us if we needed to see our space for planning purposes. From the staff to our ceremony & reception area to our suites was incredible. We could not have chosen a more perfect place for the most special day of lives. We are so happy we had our wedding there and I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a wedding in the Northern Neck.

Charity was amazing! I was planning my wedding from Washington state and she was so helpful and made planning so easy! The reception site on the golf course was stunning and so were the rooms at the Tides, I really felt like royalty when we were there. So beautiful and everyone was so helpful.

The Enchantment Resort is not only extremely beautiful - but an OUTSTANDING venue and staff for our intimate wedding. I can't thank them enough for making our special day even more memorable. They paid attention to every single detail you can imagine. The rooms are gorgeous! The location is breathtaking! We would go back in a heartbeat!! In fact, probably for our anniversary. :-)

We had a the most wonderful experiences at Enchantment. It was the first vacation we had together and then a year later my husband took me there to propose. It is a very special place and it is so beautiful. The service is top notch. I coul not have had a more perfect wedding. We have planned our one year anniversary at the Miiamo spa that is located at Enchantment resort.

Enchantment Resort does not advertise that they do weddings but they should. This place is amazing and the views are breathtaking!! The staff, especially Jessica, is very helpful and they do whatever they can to make your day special. Guests raved about the service they received during the wedding and even better they LOVED the food. Most wedding food can be bland but Enchantment does it right. We had a sit down dinner and they managed to cook all 132 meals perfectly and still served them hot! We were so impressed and so thankful we chose Enchantment Resort to host our wedding!! The guests are still talking about the view they had during our ceremony!! :)
